I moved to a middle seat because someone needed to change and the caption bought me a wine for being nice :)
Aer Lingus had me on hold me over 3 hours when I asked about global entry. After holding 3 hours I was told to go to the counter at the airport where I was told Aer Lingus does not do precheck. They also made me get a paper ticket to board. Both flights were late however showed on time on website and my husband and two year old waited an hour for me at airport thinking my flight was on time. The seats were so small I barely fit and I am an average size women.
Great
There was so much leg room and the seats were comfortable. Additionally, the food was very good.
Food for Americans could be better
Coming back Dublin to SF-boarding was not announced by rows so everyone jumped into a line that extended halfway around the airport-took a lot longer than necessary.Flight was very comfortable-staff we’re great-thanks! SF to Dublin was very disappointing as we missed the flight even though we were there after a Bart delay an hour before departure-we were already checked in on line-no one at counters to direct us to just go and board the flight/instead a woman said the gate was already closed which was not true-we could have made that flight on the 23rd-instead we got only a robot on the line when we tried to contact aer lingus and then finally just gave us tickets for 2days later with an additional fee of $200.I know the flight finally only departed after 5:50 On the 23rd and we were there at 4:30-understandably late.Lines at security were not long we could have definitely made it on the 23rd flight instead of being put through the trouble of going back and taking a flight 2days later on the 25th.Our money for 2 nights of airb&b in Dublin went to waste too.So all in all a lot of money wasted because of wrong information.I would like that $200 retuned to me as my original flight was expensive enough at $1200 without being tacked on an additional $200.
It was the worst flight of my life. My headset didn't work, charger didn't work, seats were small and my pillow is bloodstained. Completely unacceptable! I paid for preferred seating and I was the last one on the flight.
Flight was delayed be 3 hours and no advise on what to do on vouchers for food and drink provided
Overall, a very good experience and a great price! Lovely crew and the food was not bad at all! A few delays but all connections were made and their Passport and customs process was very well done!
Horrible experience with booking and would never recommend or use the app again.
Seats were very tight
Our luggage has been lost. My grandson and I are here at our London hotel with nothing but the clothes we wore. Reports have been filed through the airport LHR, and with Aer Lingus, but no one communicates back. Never again!
It was cancelled -- and everyone involved was unhelpful and rude.
No bag drop in Malaga Aerport big disappointment
Terrible customer service, couldn’t get help rescheduling flights and was hung up on multiple times.
The flight was great. Check in was pure torture. Three hours in a barely moving line with one person working the check in line. Then more of the same at security. The flight was delayed for an hour, waiting for passengers in the barely moving lines. Totally unacceptable.
Aer lingus used to be awesome, after Covid travel with them is a nightmare, I would have much rather flew with British air ways or united. Arrived over 3 hours early for my flight and the line to get boarding passes on a Monday morning in the Dublin was close to a 2 hour wait, mind you the security lines and custom lines were long, we just made it to our gate and gave ourselves over 3 hours. I can’t imagine what it would be like on a weekend. The staff at the ticket counter had 3 desks open for general boarding with a line of over a 100 people waiting, I also thought it was very weird that they had a closing gate line, so if show you an hour before your plane leaves you saved yourself from waiting in extremely line. Also they told me my bag would connect with me to my connection flight. That was not true. Got to the right gate and no one working there was organized, passengers were all confused on where to stand there was no room for sitting the gates are tiny! Makes no sense all Dublin in the last 15 years re did their international wing, and they failed at that, it’s insanely tiny gate areas for international flights? Also I really don’t like how they make everyone shut or open the window shade at certain times on the plane. And their breakfast sandwich was a panini and cheddar cheese, just bread and cheese? Seems like a meal you’d feed a picky toddler.
Long delays of two hours leaving Manchester
In my opinion the new A321 long range planes are really not good for long haul flights. 2 toilets at the back of the plane for the whole economy class section, one aisle so you not only have cabin crew trying to get up and down the aisles with trolleys, you also have people queuing down the aisle to use the toilet with no where to go.
Same thing I mentioned in my last reviewe
There was no indication on e tivket which terminal I flew from so I had to walk a long distance to a new terminal….. then getting checked in took about an hour because the airline was clearly short staffed and the staff didn’t seem to know what to do efficiently. All my flights have been late so had to rush for my connections and arrived late at my final destination and to top all that off my suitcase hasn’t arrived so I have no clothes at all and I’m supposed to be working which I now have to cancel because I don’t have anything…… so this airline is now affecting my income and costing me a lot of money. It’s ridiculous
Lots of problems: 1) Boarding was pretty much chaos. One person at the door checking tickets and passports for 300+ people. It took more than 1 hour to board. 2) Food was mediocre to simply uneatable. 3) My seat was good because I paid an extra $100 for the choice of an aisle seat up front. (That phone call took 20 minutes to execute. Why can't you do this online?) Note: do not choose the aisle seat next to the window seat. You will lose foot space for the video box. Painful. (Fortunately, I was able to switch seats before my return flight.) 4) Literally 2 hours between the time we arrived in Los Angeles and when my bag appeared on the carousel. Others were still waiting when I left. I like the A330 for such flights. And Dublin is a reasonable transfer point for Europe if one can't get a direct flight, but it is unlikely I will book with Aer Lingus again.
Aer Lingus is a low cost airline. Don't expect much.

We had no food or drinks on our flight from Izmir, after it was cancelled the night before, due to been a diabetic myself and husband found this very difficult!
Ii
Better selection of movies and TV progress, staff was outstanding
No one at bag drop for ages then moved to other bag drop
Aer lingus were great to fly with but I got some very confusing calls from chatdeal that I booked with at midnight, 5 hours before I had to be up for my flight telling me I had to “uncheck in” to fix an issue on their end. It wasn’t an option and after an hour of trying I gave up as I had my boarding card already. Boarded the plane just fine. So I don’t know why they gave me an hour of stress just before my flight… I’ll book directly through aer lingua next time
It is a long time since I have travelled with AerLingus and the seating seems a littlemore uncomfortable to me.
On board Aer Lingus flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 48x33x20cm. If your hand luggage is bigger, the Aer Lingus assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.
Aer Lingus offers direct flights to 68 cities in 20 different countries. Dublin, London, and Málaga are the most popular cities covered by Aer Lingus.
Aer Lingus concentrates most of its flight operations in Dublin.

Aer Lingus is a national airline of Ireland and operates out of its hub in Dublin. Flying extensively throughout the United Kingdom and Europe, popular vacation destinations such as France, Greece and Croatia make up a large portion of their seasonal routes. It has operated services across the Atlantic Ocean to New York since 1958 and has since expanded to offer more than 10 other American cities.
In 2015 it was bought by the International Airline Group and now exists as a subsidiary of the company alongside other European airlines Vueling, Iberia and British Airways. Codeshare agreements are in place with a number of other carriers including United Airlines, Etihad Airways, Air Canada, Alaska Airlines and WestJet. Despite having a limited number of scheduled flights through North America, Aer Lingus is able to offer a range of services via these codeshare agreements.
Preferring to use only Airbus planes, the Aer Lingus fleet is predominantly made up of short-to-medium range jets such as the A320 family. Boeing and British Aerospace aircraft have been phased out of the fleet. A distinctive green shamrock leaf is located on the tail of the aircraft. All flights within Europe operate with just an Economy cabin; however, longer transatlantic services also offer Business Class.
It exists as the official airline of the Irish Rugby Team, helping the players and staff fly across the world to compete in tournaments. The faces of star players have been detailed on the body of some of the aircraft, dubbed the Green Spirit. The regular shamrock feature is stylized within a rugby ball on these special models.
