It was a pretty hotel with a big lobby and wonderful breakfast. Room was a bit small for our 4 night stay and bunkbed ladder was in the way a lot. Pros (+) Staying at the Duck Inn is like staying with friends you hadn't met yet. The three owners are the staff and they are friendly and warm and helpful without being intrusive. The breakfasts are good and cooked to order, and the rooms are cozy, many of them overlooking the river the inn sits on.
Cons (-) The room heated up quickly on a cool night, but stayed hotter than expected. Cracking open a window fixed that, though.

Not only bagels, English muffins, oatmeal, cereal, juice and coffee, we were treated to homemade breakfast cake and make your own waffles. The views from our room and f...
