Although having to start closing down because of the Coronavirus, staff friendly and courteous, room was not serviced but understandable in the circumstances.
I liked the decor of the room and the facilities available. I like that they advertise that that are green and eco friendly as possible. A great size bed for a single room! Good price including breakfast which was lovely. Good manors and attentive
I wasn't very comfortable in my bed as it was a bit firm for my back, in room 112, I have given my feedback to them already. I had a great response from them about progression to change depending on feedback.
Staff were great and the value for money
Around the bed in between the bed and chest of drawers was very dirty including bottle lids and jewelry from previous people. When I got there also they had relocated us to another room which was not what I paid for.. eventually we got moved
Had to pay for breakfast which was nice. But for the rooms they need to drop the price. Some of the rooms are like back street b&b.
The first room I got shown curtains didn't fit the window. And freezing cold musty smell. Got shown another room the paper coming away from the walls damp smell in the shower room. Parts of hotel being decorated. Booked to be in one hotel then was asked to go to the adjoining one. Then the room after the 3rd time was one of the modern ones. Which I took. Was asked to leave car keys just in case I was in the way. I parked right up against the wall not blocking anything. I go to my car found they had move it they said was in the way. No it was for there family member. They wanted to park where I was. The owner and some of the family members where a matter of fact. Need to learn how to speak to customers. Bar staff Abby was excellent but run ragged checking people in. Serving the customers drink. Then taking food to tables. And letting people in the front door up one floor. Not worth the money.
Rooms was dirty and had mould around the toilet and shower. The reception and other areas within the hotel are in need of a refurbishment .We had no hot water and the room had a musky smell. Only positive was the breakfast which was cooked well . Would not return .
