Under construction, was over charged and the beds weren't even set up
They will charge you three weeks later even after your room was pre-paid in full. The place was a mess.
Ugh the guy in the dinning area was rude and so were the front desk ladies.
First no one acknowledged us waiting at the desk to check in, with 2 staff present there. Then they tried to tell us we had only booked one room. Had to pull up reservation which clearly showed 2 rooms and they finally gave us a second room. We got up to the rooms and one smelled so strongly of smoke, so we called downstairs and they said they would send someone up (?) so we waited and waited. Called back she said maintenance was on their way so hold tight. Finally went into the hallway and flagged down the maintenance man who was LEAVING the floor and he said he could bring a machine to filter the air for 20 minutes and ‘clear it out’ to which we declined and went to the front desk to request a new room. Rooms were run down, shower curtain rod was falling off the wall. Paint chipping, wet carpet in spots. Absolutely awful. Pool had like, tissue or something floating around in it. The lone microwave to use in the lobby wouldn’t even semi-pop a bag of popcorn. And no free breakfast as advertised by kayak. I’m usually the one who has very low standards and even I wouldn’t stay here again.
