The staff were amazingly helpful and the free dinner is huge. Location is superb.
It was quite unclean, but I suppose that is messy travelers. It's peak season.
Nomads Capital is excellent value for money, especially when traveling on a tight budget. And the staff are friendly and helpful - couldn't ask for better!
The couches in the common room are very tired and could do to be replaced.
There were good storage available in the dorms with lockable cupboards, bag/shoe shelves and space to hang clothes and towels.
The bunk beds were especially noisy and rattled with even the slightest movement. I had the bottom bunk and the girl on the top one was only slight, yet I kept waking up any time she moved as the whole bunk creaked and rattled.
location is perfect
very dearty, don`t look under the bed!, very loud at night
it was in a good spot
that i could not chek in tall 2pm.but apart from that it was all good
The location - being central was excellent - that and the free dinner that evening next door at Blend - that was an unexpected bonus.
The frontline staff weren't good - spent ages waiting at reception to check-in whilst two of them "fluffed about" over one customer. We wanted to ask about the location of somewhere we needed to find but, frankly, couldn't be bothered waiting to get their attention. It felt as though they were "overdoing" the whole reception thing.
God atmosphere in bar
The rates were too high. If I were staying another night, I could have got a private room in a 5 star hotel for 10 nzd cheaper, over two nights in a private room
Clean room, modern bathroom, Sky TV, and all for an excellent price. Highly recommended.
The room that we were in was right above a night club so returning from tea at about 10.30 we were hit with a boom boom boom so loud that you could feel your beds moving, so no sleep was had till the wee small hours, no good when you have a big day ahead. I think if you are going to put people in this room your price should reflect it, you could try putting a staff member up there for night and see how they feel in morning,
It was very clean and the shower was really good! Great location as well near to everything and the staff were really helpful and down to earth
It was defiantly aimed at younger travelers as the bar next door was a little noisy, however I was staying on a Saturday night.
location and ease of use. Friendly counter staff
bit noisy and beds were a bit uncomfortable
The free meal voucher and the two-for-one drinks at thebar next door.
For a cold Wellington weekend there were insuffiencient bed clothes.
Staff were courteous. Our booked room had not been vacated so they bumped us up to better rooms.
Rooms were quite small. My room was supposed to have a TV. I asked for one but never got it. Quite a lot of noise late at night from a nearby pub.
