Pros: We love the Martinhal. Magical place. Beautiful Villas. Reception and concierge very very good. Book the delphin tour with the leisure department. Or Grap a bike to see the light house...

Pros: Beautifully kept apartments, clean and comfy, with a neat little garden area for sitting out. Near to both Tonel and Maretta beaches and all the facilities of Sagres but in a quiet part of town. Ideal for families with small children or those who don’t care about fashion or WiFi! Very helpful staff and, overall, a relaxed place to stay. The apartment is cleaned every day and the gardens were well kept and lovely.
Cons: The kitchen area is a bit small and there is only WiFi in the garden but neither of these aspects bothered us.

Pros: Clean place, nice bathroom, public kitchen outside with everything you need, even a barbecue. Private seat in front of the room. Very friendly staff.
Cons: It was very nice there was a fridge in the room, but it makes ( a lot of ) noise when it is cooling.

7,1 Good
Pros: The location is nice , and the breakfast too.
Cons: Does not deserve 4 stars and neither deserve the name Of > spa ! The swimming pool and the sauna and hammam are very small. And No jacuzzi . By the way the (spa) should be clean sometimes. Don’t trust the receptionist , they tell you they are now restaurant around . But plenty good restaurants around it .

Pros: Everything was great .
Cons: Kids in the pool area were really loud. Made it difficult to relax there.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great central location, close to beach, walks, restaurants and bars. Nice balcony with a slight sea view. Did get the sun though even in December! Great shower. Comfy large bed and generally a spacious room and bathroom.
Cons: Breakfasts served until 10:30 but at 10:00 the juice and milk had run out. As had the bread and some fruit. Nothing was replenished. Would advice heading to breakfast earlier in the morning for more choice as then it’s very good. All bedroom doors slam so was woken quite a lot through the night. Also our room on floor 1 was near the cleaners room so when they start prepping in the morning it is noisy. No lie in!
6,0 Good
Pros: The location was excellent, right on top of the beach. It was off season, so unsurprisingly almost everywhere was closed, which was reasonable. It didn't make the place any less appealing as it felt very relaxing to be able to wander around the empty town. Also, there were storms and high winds, which was also fine with me.
Cons: in general the staff were friendly, but the fellow at check in seemed to greet us with clenched teeth which felt a little unnerving. Also, due to the limited number of guests, the breakfast buffet was replaced with the opportunity to make repeated raids on the cafe next to the hotel. After three days of toasted cheese sandwiches I was ready for a change. It makes complete sense they did this, but (1) it would have been nice to clarify that this was the case (2) a little bit of fruit from the local Intermarche wouldn't have hurt -for example, it's not as if they are short of oranges in the region. Other things were no kettle in the room and (I think) water was 1.50 euros for a small bottle. having moaned about all of the above, would i come back? definitely
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms bright snd cheerful
Cons: At breafast Didnt like the bread for toastingNo drawers for personal items
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice people and a beautiful room. It was not as clean as expected, but still ok. Other than that it was a perfect stay.
6,3 Good
Pros: Great central location. Cool modern building.
Cons: Noisy. We could hear other guests and machines downstairs in the evening and in the morning furniture being moved around upstairs. We felt as though we were inconveniencing the staff by being there the day before their holiday closure. Breakfast was ok but not great for gluten-free vegetarians.

Pros: The location was stunning, the hotel is set on a cliff overlooking the Atlantic ocean. Rooms are very comfortable and clean.
Cons: The restaurant in the hotel was surprisingly low quality, both in food and service. This might be due to the off-season time of our stay but shouldn't happen nonetheless due to the price.

Pros: The view!
Cons: We were not able to eat the main course of dinner. We sat there waiting for 1 hour for the main course to arrive. We asked three waitresses for it. Finally, we left the restaurante and went up to our room. Today, at checkout we saw that the Pousada had not charged us for the unserved meals.

Cons: Everything was amazing!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Good location & quite. Very clean and simple, modern decoration. Close to beach and lovely for a simple holiday
Cons: A bit overpriced for the quality of breakfast and bed&breakfast. No service for your suitcases - you carry yourself to second floor. Breakfast was ok but not special. Juices from cheap concentrate, cheese & ham could have been better. Otherwise lovely place, simple place and just great for surfing.
6,3 Good
Pros: Great and friendly staff, beautifull room, tasty breakfast
Cons: We chose that hostel because of the bathtub in the garden, which was not working. Only cold water in bathroom - we report it in the reception and got answer, that they will repair it, we just need to wait till noon - unacceptable. Queue for breakfast - we needed to wait for the table more than 15 minutes.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous location - right on the trails along the coast, and easy to walk to the Fortaleza, but also easy walking distance to town and restaurants. Friendly, low-key staff. Comfortable, cozy place to hang your hat for a few days. Definitely get a sea-view room!
Cons: Other visitors smoking on their balconies - it drifted into our room and we had to close the windows sometimes. It would be better if smoking was not allowed on the balconies.
