8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location very picturesque and within an easy drive of the coast. We ate in the hotel restaurant the first night, Saturday and the food was very good. The entrecôte steak and steak burger was excellent with a Turkish Messe starter. The steak was local a literally melted in the mouth. We would have eaten in this restaurant again but it was closed the other two nights we stayed. Vejer de la Frontera is a really pretty town about 10 mins drive with a number of very Spanish eating houses, easy free parking with a short steep uphill walk.
Cons: One of our main criteria when selecting a rural hotel was that restaurant facilities were provided. It was not made Lear that the restaurant is closed on Mondays. Restaurant are available locally but are a car drive away and a number of these also close on Mondays severely reducing the choice unless you are prepared to drive to Vejer town. Breakfast was adequate. Limited choice. Very disappointed with Conil and Barbate although the beach is great for the family take some shade.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location and very pleasant staff. Good to have personal service from the owner. Very useful information about the area.
Cons: Shower was a bit slow to drain. Bed was a little smaller than we would like.
6,7 Good
Pros: Good base I explore nearby towns
Cons: Beds hard and lumpy. Towels like cardboard, unable to use them. Very small room. Same menu for every day.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place, well maintained and well designed. Lots of tasteful touches everywhere. Most helpful and friendly hosts. Good breakfast. This place is a gem. Should be rated 4*. Overlooks Cape Trafalgar for those who know their Naval history.
Cons: At the end of a half mile dirt track but we'll signposted.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The whole ambience was idyllic.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I was more than what I expected for 2 stars
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel and calm place
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely quite location but easy access to Vejer, Cádiz, Jerez and more. Fantastic sea views and sunsets.
Cons: Better TV in room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Met our expectations on a location level. Not too far from good restaurants but far enough away that it was quiet.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: A beautifully restored traditional building in a very quiet area. Rooms are large and very clean. The swimming pool is very pleasant. It is a 15-20 minute drive to nearby beaches (be warned: very busy in August). Owners and personnel are very helpful and friendly. We loved the stay here
Cons: Only minor things: restaurant could have more vegetarian options and the wifi speed is underwhelming.

Pros: Stunning views over the town from our bedroom. The hotel is really stylish, quiet & clean. Great eating breakfast on the roof terrace.

7,9 Good
Pros: Very pretty authentic room with a stunning view. Excellent location.
Cons: Difficult to find parking which is unavoidable in this town. Directions however could have been clearer in the instructions given. Room is small and WiFi very slow, unusable, in the room we were in, I don’t think that is the case for all rooms.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great little place! Booked it last minute, for a business trip. Nice home feeling atmosphere, breakfast served in little patio - feels like not staying in hotel but more like visiting family. Definetly will be back!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: La Botica is described accurately and our stay was very comfortable. Both the bedroom and the en-suite had amazing views over Vejer, as also their terrace. The spectacular views from our room were, for us, a highlight of our stay. We have stayed here previously and plan to return again. A perfect place to stay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the property, very clean, staff were helpful and friendly and the location was perfect.
Cons: Can't say there was anything I didn't like.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is great. Vejer de la Frontera is a small town, but with a lot to offer, so location matters when one wants to reach up and down part of this on-hill town. The staff is really nice. They were very responsive and answered all of our questions clearly and fast. The hotel is a small one and very nicely arranged. The roof patio is an excellent spot to enjoy its view. Our room had an amazing view and the room facilities were perfect and clean.
Cons: The internet in the room was a bit slow.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: La Botica is in the heart of the old town, ideally located to all shops and restaurants. A very bright clean and roomy property with a very warm welcome. Would recommend.
Cons: It is up quite a steep hill, could be a problem for some.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: We moved to a fabulous room , number six I think , and not charged for two day upgrade-very generous and much appreciated. Fabulous boutique hotel , very cool. Lovely , friendly staff. Fantastic roof terrace .
Cons: Wind was strong -not fault of hotel !
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful refurbishment. Loved the courtyard. Roof top is amazing
Cons: Access can be a nightmare in busy summer months, however, once we got used to our bearings walking around the tiny roads was a joy. Nicely decorated boutique shops. Gelato in the evening was a must
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Super comfy bed, lovely linens. Quiet situation, tasteful decor. Breakfast was a tray of tasty local delights which can be taken in the lounge, or garden wherever you choose. We liked relaxing on the roof terrace and the honesty bar is a lovely gesture from this boutique hotel. Modern comforts in an historic house.
Cons: We could have done with something to plug in to prevent the odd mosquito... it only takes one to be very annoying. Our bathroom, no 1, lacked a towel rail.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel V is a lovely, former merchants house which has been very sympathetically renovated, in a great, elevated location in the old part of the Town. The rooms are very comfortable even if facilities are restricted due to size. The roof top terrace is particularly attractive with wonderful views across the countryside and even, on a clear day, across to North Africa.
Cons: Unfortunately the air condition failed on our first day, and we had to use fans and leave windows open. This was however recognised by the management.
7,1 Good
Pros: The room was really pretty!
Cons: The toilet was in the middle of the room with no door or anything so that was little wierd...
7,1 Good
Pros: Breakfast was outstanding
Cons: Our first room was dark, cold, damp and depressing. One could hardly get in or out of bed. Not to mention the moth that flew out of the curtain when I closed it. The room we moved to, the stopper in the bath tub didn’t work. The toilet was a little public for comfort. Your receptionist was charming and most helpful.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Each room is individual, set around a little courtyard and rooftop views across the town and hills. The staff were brilliant with recommendations and little touches like chocolates and water delivered to your room. I would recommend this no end!
Cons: Nothing! The only issue is walking up all the town steps after too much tapas if you’re greedy!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel and great location
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Boutique accommodation at its finest. Beautiful property, friendly and attentive staff, lovely breakfasts and a dreamy location. Just perfect!
