Overview

Ukiah sits in a valley of vineyards and redwoods in Mendocino County, a Northern California town along Highway 101 near tasting rooms, hot springs, and the coast. The SureStay by Best Western Ukiah makes a comfortable base in Ukiah, California, close to the county's many wineries, Lake Mendocino, and the redwood groves and coast to the west. Quiet, comfortable rooms give travelers and wine-country visitors an easy place to land, each with a flat-screen TV, microwave, and refrigerator. A free breakfast opens the morning, free parking sits right outside, and the lake and vineyards are a short drive away. Lake Mendocino, a reservoir ringed by oak hills, sits minutes from town with boating and beaches. The redwoods of Montgomery Woods and the Mendocino coast lie an hour west over the hills. Wineries and redwoods, Lake Mendocino, and the road to the coast all sit close by. Settle in and let Mendocino County set the pace.
