The location, staff, bar, restaurant, amenities, patio where fantastic. If there only was someway to make the rooms a little quieter, and the rooms a little more sizable. That said, a great experience and can overlook its shortcomings. Also great happy hour, tasty cocktails, and award winning breakfasts.
Small, old rooms with old plumbing. Shower head was waist high.
Location in downtown Tucson is excellent. We stayed for a Friday night and were warned it would be noisy because of the bands playing, and Friday nights are busy with University of Arizona students. We brought earplugs. We needed them, but had a great time in spite of the noise. Cup Cafe in the hotel is a great place for any meal, but even better on a weekend for an early brunch/breakfast. The beds were comfortable. The beds were comfortable
It was noisy on a Friday night, but we were told to expect that and be prepared. We were.
Everything was awesome.
Great location good customer service very friendly play lots to see and do
It rained & there was going to be karaoke outside but they moved it inside right under our room so it was a little noisy
Everything! It's mythology, the crowd it attracted, the retro design and attention to design detail, the perfect location - we felt the hotel was very true to its mission statement, and the food and drink (esp. breakfast) were exceptional. We had the best waiter, Paul, for breakfast who had been newly transferred from Maynards and he was so delighted to work there and gave us so much city insight. We loved the hotel so much we bought postcards. Our new favourite destination!
While we appreciate that the hotel's very old, the shower in our room needed modernising and while extremely comfortable, the bed was quite small for two people.
