Location was great. A lot of restaurants in the area and great connections by metro with all the points of interest.
Bar & restaurant closes pretty early and although they have a lovely terrace it is closed on Sundays and weekdays pretty early.
Good view, a lot of stores (drug store, market, bento shop etc) in the neighborhood. View is good, could see sakura trees and a river. There is a little distance from Tokyo center but not problem at all. I used rent-a-car, so I don't know well about train convenience. Very clean. Bathtub is good for warming and getting rid of fatigue. Double bed was good. Gawn is provided.
Room is not very spacious (Japan fact). But they left some to walk and put your shoes, and suitcase:) You need to pay 1200-1400 JPY for one night parking. It could be free or a little cheaper. We already pay a lot. There is breakfast time 7-10 am, but they still ask when we are planning to eat. Mostly Chinese tourists use but I encountered a Japanese crowd, some were drunk and made a lot if noise around 22:30. Most would expect it from Chinese but surprisedly Japanese did it (I know Japanese language very well, I heard what they were speaking).
Breakfast is good and plenty. Location of the hotel is also easy to reach.
I was disappointed with the smell in the room and asked the staff to change the room. I was told by the staff member (American guy) that the smell comes from the Chinese food and is Ok with the Chinese guests (I noticed that the hotel is loved by them), so if you decide to stay in just opt for the room in VIP zone! Have nothing against the Chinese food but not in my room. Yep, fantastic picture from the window to the night Tokyo (maybe from the VIP zone only?).
The stuffs are helpful. The matsuri was just happening when i was staying there.
Its a very old hotel and cleanliness from below 10th floor is terrible. All of the windows in hotel cannot be opened. (sealed) the stuff will go inside cleaning your room without asking.
I liked the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Although the room was very small it was very neat and had everything we needed. The lunch at the restaurant was excellent and good value for money.
We have no complaints. The hotel is very close to Kiba and Monzen-? Stations which made our outings easy and great fun. We never struggled with public transport and the wifi is great!
