Hotel Plaza Jardín

We liked the location on the square. You'll wake up to church bells, (across the square) at 6 am. The bells ring throughout the morning and other times during the day. Shower had hot water and good pressure, Generally clean and bright in the hotel. Staff were pleasant and some English spoken.

The first night the bed was a Double, we thought we'd booked a Queen. We paid the Queen price for both nights. No offer to return the extra $. The 2nd night we relocated to a Queen. The beds and pillows are very hard. We had some am aches as a result. The room was generally clean, but in both rooms, light bulbs were burned out or missing in the rooms and bathrooms. One was actually broken in the lamp. A small shampoo was provided. Only 1 small mini bar of soap. It had to be taken from sink to shower each time. A bit of a drag. Pedro the 3-11 pm staff was very helpful. There is no parking on sight. We were directed by the hotel to take our car to a pay-for-parking lot about 2 blocks away. The charge was 200 pesos per day, which seemed steep.

Good location, located in heart of town.

Beds are hard and pillows are not great. Bathroom showers were in need of cleaning ceilings and portion of walls. Church bells blasting starting at 6:30am (if you don't want this stay away from center of town). Restaurant downstairs plays music loudly until 11pm.
