Excellent location very handy for the centre, easy to get out into the countryside for walking or cycling, a bus stop very near and easy access by car from the ring road with off-road parking to the rear. Cooked breakfast (pre-ordered the night before) was good, other choices fairly limited. The owner was extremely helpful, suggesting things to do and see, he even lent me an ordnance survey map for the duration of our stay so that we could go walking.
The bathroom was small but was about what we expected for the type of property however the electric shower was a bit fickle. The reasonable size bedroom was fairly plain and old fashioned but was in-keeping with the property. The bed was comfortable.
Beautiful Victorian house, light and airy, with original features. Warm welcome from Tim, on our arrival. Offered a choice of rooms with a four poster bed and en-suite bathroom. The breakfast was excellent and the onsite parking was a huge bonus!
There were no issues with this property at all.
The room was really nice, clean with a super comfortable four-poster bed! The B&B is in the center but it’s very quite. The breakfast was tasty and served in a lovely room. Last but not least the owner, a lovely person! Friendly and willing to help us with some info about the town.
Tim was a brilliant host from the start and made us feel very welcome. Would make sure everything was perfect for our stay. The location was perfect, especially as we don't drive so everything was walking distance. Bedroom was lovely and homely, the four poster bed was beautiful and the ensuite was very clean and shower was perfect. Breakfast was fantastic, great choices whether you're wanting a healthier option or something simple or even something to suit vegetarians. Overall, was a great stay and hope to visit again soon for a longer time! Thank you for your hospitality!
Nothing not to like!
Breakfast was fine and liked that there was a choice and didn't necessarily have to have the traditional full English. I was visiting the RSC, so the location was perfect - just a 10mn walk away.
There was nothing I didn't like, however, I think it would be worth mentioning that 'single with private bathroom', doesn't mean 'en suite' and that the private bathroom is round the corner from the bedroom. It worked fine for me, but some people might not be too happy at having to leave their room in their nightwear, to use the bathroom, when they thought they would be getting a traditional 'en suite.
