Nothing. Everything ok
It has like everything you really need. microwaves, safes, internet, well organized instructions with urgence numbers or how to deal with stuff, kitchen, fridge entry is not complicated, information to enter sent by phone and mail you can enter and leave whenever you want and without any complication
You can't say that it's not clean. It actually was! But it really stinks a lot. Our room stunk, ok that's not the fault of the host, but the WC stunk because 1. the building is old, 2. there is a carpet on the floor which can absorb the stink and 3. i guess the tubings of the whole building were so old and not clean You had like 4 Showers but just light in the middle and no working aeration, which made it stink mainly in the evening. In the morning when the cleaning stuff came it was not that bad You had like 5 WC but in the best one with shower there was no lightbulb, so no light and no usage unless you have your phone with you, the other ones again, no aeration so it gets stinky fastly the two windows in our room were not 100% closable so you sleep with the sound of the cars passing by and people screaming outside, but we were so tired that we always slept quite well the internet was open, no wifipassword I didnt like neither that the "staying or hanging out rooms" were not the best. There is a quite cozy cafe downstairs that belongs to the hostel but its not always open and there are no "soft" seats like sofas. The girl working there was really kind leaving the room, going downstairs and LEAVING THE HOSTEL (go around+rain+cold) just to go to that cafe is kinda unconfortable, you cant go directly from the rooms to that room I didnt like that i didnt receive a bed next to my colleague or at least the same doublebed, we booked together
The breakfast was affordable. Reception staff was very friendly.
Language barrier with reception Seems to be lots of unique permanent residents staying Communal Shower room door did not lock Beds made a lot of noise The window let in a lot of cold air. The covers were pretty musty. General smell of sewage in communal area.
The moment I got out of that place which now I can forget forever.
There is no stuff most of the time. They send you codes: one for entrance, one for room. Saturday evening - I arrive and leave my bag inside. Night - I'm coming back at 3 am. Code doesn't match, door closed. Note on the door says: "Check you email to find a code". I check and realize they MOVED me to another address and notified me ONLY by email about it. At 4 a.m. (and it's raining) - I'm at another address. Code doesn't match, door closed. Phone is dying. I have to call support. I'm in another country, calls are expensive. They give me the code. Next morning I have to go to the first address to get my bag. Nice way to spend my time. Check-out. My bag is in luggage room. I have to go to airport. But they didn't send an entrance code for this day. So there is no way to enter the hostel. If you can't call support, you just have to wait (and panic) in front of the door until someone come inside. Another thing: note on the door says: "Check your email with our WiFi and find the codes". But in fact their WiFi works only inside the hostel (and only in some areas), so you have to do it before. Room: no light, no power sockets near the bed, no locks on lockers. Printing service: no ink. Kitchen: one electric stove with one burner, that's all.
