Hotel is dusty and feels rundown/unclean. Linens were clean. Carpet didn’t seem to have been vacuumed…or maybe it’s just in that bad of shape. Construction currently underway, so may improve. Pros (+) Close proximity to shopping and food. Diner attached with delicious food. Pool was nice but there weren’t towels left.
Cons (-) Manager double booked hotel and tried to put me in two single rooms instead of a double room. I have a toddler and a preteen. This happened to everyone who checked in all Saturday evening. The manager didn’t know how to check people in either. He was New and didn’t know that if rooms were booked on an internet service he couldn’t book them via phone. Cons (-) It was not cleaned before we got there. Maybe spot checked for "amenities" like toilet paper, but there was used soap in the shower from a previous guest.
