The window is nontransparent so you cannot see anything and it doesn't open.
Location and price. The location was very good. Five star for location. The price was good also as the hotels can be expensive in Singapore. We knew it wasn't going to be the best hotel in the world. We just wanted somewhere basic in a good location for a fair price that we could hit the pillow after a day of sightseeing.
Lack of sleep. We stayed 4 nights and were woken up every night. The first two nights were Friday and Saturday so there was very loud music coming from a nightclub until 3am. I know that is not the hotel's fault but between 4 and 5am the cleaners would mop the floor and we could hear the very loud lift going up and down until 5am. It was then after 5am we finally could go to sleep. Not an ideal scenario after travelling 18hours to Singapore. On the Sunday and Monday night there was no loud music so at least we could sleep until the cleaners started using the lift at 4am. The walls were obviously very thin so we could hear our neighbours tv and phone call conversations.
Location is close to city centre within walking distance.
I went to checked in on the day aroung 3.40PM. Receptionist asked me to come back around 4-5pm, as their excuses was very unreasonable explanation.
Location to China Town
This hotel is used by locals as a brothel, when we arrived to check in there was a man with a lady paying to use a room for 2 hours. Later in the evening my husband went to the shop when he came back in there was another man with lady booking a room for 2 hours. When we came down to check out with two young children you could hear people having loud S*x in the reception from the rooms on the ground floor. We said to reception this is a brothel and they just smiled.
