Upstairs lounge, people, great location, very quite and very clean!
Rooms very basic for the price.
Too crowded, long que for small breakfast
We had a private room which was a very neat room, looked very nice. The rooftop terrace was so awesome! And the pool was the cherry on top!
At first we were happy to have a balcony, however the hostel is next to quite a busy road so would have preferred a room more to the back (Tip). Our room was also next to a dorm which was a petty as there was a group of guys from Denmark who were very loud. Would have preferred a different private room which was more quiet for that price. The people who were working helped us very well and gave us the perfect solution. So we left the hostel with a good feeling.
The room was more spacious and brighter than the other hostel rooms I’ve stayed at. The location wasn’t central to sightseeing spots I walked to but at least I was to fit in some exercise so my fitbit was happy but if you do forget something be prepared to walk a lot. They were pretty accommodating when I sprung on them that I wanted to stay an extra night but I suspect it would have been easier to book it online so that I would have included breakfast. They provide small hair dryers in the bathrooms. They had baggage storage free of charge although I didn’t need it, it was convenient. The terrace and pool looks like a nice place to enjoy during the spring/summer. The location was far enough that it was quiet enough with the exception of the fellow guest in the shared dorms.
Most of the staff was friendly but some seemed annoyed, particularly one person at the front desk but I guess they had to handle 3 to 4 guests back to back. Another was one of the barkeepers. She was somewhat rude about another guest going out to the terrace to smoke a cigarette but she was adamant that she had to close the terrace even though it was scheduled to close at 11 and there was at least 6 minutes left until and she was still busy cleaning behind the bar. I wish they had more of a happy go-lucky attitude. I mean it is the hospitality industry. It is part of your job description to make the guests feel welcomed. The location wasn't as convenient as the other hostels that I stayed at. It was more than 20 minutes away from the train station by public transportation. There was quite a bit of walking from the bus stop so if you’re tired from lugging your baggage all day that won’t help but it’s not extraneous if you do not have heavy baggage.
