9,3 Excellent
Pros: It's located near restaurants and the bus stop. You can go to the falls and the markets by just walking.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: They have cheap laundry service.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Central location, very clean facilities, privacy curtains, lockers for belongings, comfy bed, and an ensuite bathroom. Plus, the staff is amazing and tries very hard to accommodate you in any way that they can. A well-thought-out place!
Cons: Nothing: great place at a fantastic price!
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Good location and facilities. Friendly staff can speak English and help you to plan your adventures. Breakfast (4000 won) is really good. Hope to come back
Cons: Nothing
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very nice and helpful at all times. They helped me find the buses timetables and everything.
9,5 Excellent

10,0 Excellent

10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was a really comfortable to stay at the hostel. Nice, friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Nice activities. Bbq and karaoke are great.
Cons: Nothing.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The hostel was very clean and comfortable. It was almost like a nice hotel! They also had a pub and cafe right on the property where you could do karaoke and just dance with other backpackers which was amazing! The front desk staff was super helpful and really nice and the bathrooms and rooms were super clean! It’s a really nice hostel!
Cons: It’s so far from everything. However, we can’t blame the hostel for that because the attractions in Jeju are really spread out
The Shilla Jeju - Seogwipo - Bedroom

8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room was lovely and big and the breakfast was superb, great choice all freshly made
Cons: My biggest gripe would be the use of the adult pool. As other reviewers have said, it is very much a family hotel with lots of kids in and around the pool. Just up from this is the adult pool. To sit round the pool it costs 11 000 won PER HOUR! Which is pretty disgraceful considering the price of staying in the hotel in the first place. Parts of the hotel are pretty dated, which in itself didn't bother us. But with this in mind, they charge top luxury prices for everything which didn't feel justified.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Great customer service, clean and great facilities
Cons: NA
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is fantastic and staffs are excellent. The classic music and jazz band was great.
Cons: The room was out dated. Over priced for value of room.
6,3 Good
Cons: We arrived in the hotel late night. The guy in the concierge took our luggage from the taxi and put down our luggage and eventually left us in front/outside of the hotel. We thought he is coming back to help us bring our luggage at the reception to check-in but after about 10 minutes, he has not comeback so we brought our luggage by ourselves at the reception area to check-in, we saw the guy in the concierge area opposite side of the reception area. He just looked at us, did not help us even though it was obvious that we were having huge luggages plus extra hand carry bags. Very disappointing. We’re a frequent traveller and had never experienced this before with other hotels.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Everything is so wonderful here, just need to pay too much to use Camping and Glamping area which I think the meal price charge per person was not making sense!
Cons: The swimming pools got lots of hotel staffs but somehow their service wasn’t good enough and not very clean in all rest area!
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: The room is a bit outdated. The carpet and furniture were really old and the lights were dim. But the outdoor environment and pool were great! Also, the house keeping accidentally took my shirt. I reported to the front desk and they don’t even care to look for it. Just tell me they can’t fine it.
6,3 Good
Pros: Nice location and spacious room. Spa was excellent too
Cons: Needing to pay for things like using sun bed at the adult pool, sauna...and with the charges, we did not even get any water bottles. This is almost a standard amenity at pools. It was busy during noon time at the pool, and we did not feel service was up to par.
6,3 Good
Cons: The bed was very uncomfortable that I could not sleep well for 3nights. We also tried some food in the cafe next to the lobby but they came cold (pizza was cold and the cheese was already hard), and overpriced at the same time. I appreciated the hospitality of the employees but it was still a bit disappointing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Family friendly
Cons: The buffet menu does not have a halal food
5,8 Okay
Pros: This was a big, nice hotel in a relatively convenient part of the island with access to the beach. The rooms were spacious, and there were options as to how to spend your time, be it at a restaurant, bar, or by the pool. We also had a good dinner at their Korean restaurant.
Cons: Any of the benefits listed above were undercut by the inability to enjoy the facilities privately without paying extra. The free pool was overrun with children, as were the restaurants and lounge areas. For peace and quiet, our options were 1) the beach (which took 10 minutes to walk to and didn't have any lounge chairs), 2) the adult pool (while this pool is the beautiful one featured on this site and the hotel website, all chairs at this pool are rental only, beginning at about $14 for 1 hour), 3) the bar (where the cheapest glass of wine was $20), or 4) our room (which, though lovely, was by the pool where there were loud pop concerts every night until about 10:00 pm).
Lotte Hotel Jeju - Seogwipo - Building
3
8,8 Excellent (4 214 reviews)
R3 673+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Lotte Hotel Jeju in Seogwipo (Jungmun), you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Jeju Shinhwa World and PLAY K-POP. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and dry cleaning/laundry services. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available on request).
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It is very good for kids, with very big swimming pool and many activities for kids & adults also, and there is one floor for kids . we had a great time in this hotel
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The grounds and the beach very clean and beautiful. The buffet was very well stocked. Many different options. Free bus shuttle to airport was very nice. Room was good size and the beds were very comfy. The staff are very friendly and we were very comfortable there. The attendants in the kids zone(6F) were very nice and played well with the kids. They have 7/11 right next to the resort. Good for cheap drinks and snacks. There is a chicken place as well.
Cons: There is extra charge for kids activities, kids pool. This should be included in the room rate which is already very high. They pool is too small for a resort this is. Until late at night the pool is always full. The walk to the beach is far and there are a million steps. I also did not see any shower directly near the beach to wash off. Our mountain view room was actual view of the front of the hotel with mountains in the background. The price for the dinner buffet is very expensive! We paid 212USD for myself, my husband and our son.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was next a beautiful beach, it takes 10 minutes to get down to the beach but the walk is very beautiful. Breakfast was very tasty, choices of continental, Chinese and Korean breakfast. The size of room and the view was very good. The staff were always very attentive and kind. The hotel had a very large garden and beautifully decorated, lovely to walk around in the evening.
Cons: The outdoor swimming pool was good but not large enough to accommodate all the guests. There were too many children and no quiet areas for the people who want peace and quiet. The hotel is excellent for family with little children but not for couples or travellers without children.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Good kids facilities (pool, play room) and good breakfast. Room was also nice and spacious.
Cons: When you arrive in the evening there‘s no free airport shuttle provided by the hotel. Also the inexpensive public shuttle only operates until 22:00. So you have to take a taxi for the ~1 hour ride. English skills of hotel staff could be better.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The staff friendliness
7,0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Ask for more water bottles they said no and no way to charge North America cell phone in or at least provide the appropriate connector I had to leave my phone at the concierge for an hour
8,3 Excellent
Cons: I booked for a room for 4 persons, but I got one only for 3 persons.
6,2 Good
Pros: Central pool area with linked zones of different depths and temperatures is great for young children.
Cons: Small and not well-kept rooms, average food, worn finishings, indifferent staff, and far from airport. Adjacent beach is convenient, but not special.
7,0 Good
Pros: Its big and nice
Cons: The staff at the reception not up to the standard of 5 star hotel services, not friendly. The pool its very crowded at the time we were visited
6,3 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Old furniture Odder in the corridors
8,8 Excellent
Pros: 15 minutes walk to the beach! The dinner buffet was totally worth the expensive price. I liked the spa but I believe this resort is more for families than friends because outdoor swimming pools is kind of full of children and their parents and the pool maximum height is 1.7m.
Cons: I booked a mountain view room but the balcony was blocked with a huge wall I barely could see the sky through! I didn't like the lunch buffet, some of the food was definitely re-heated from yesterday's dinner buffet. It's far from downtown and other beaches.

9,3 Excellent
Pros: The room is huge, breakfast taste great
Cons: There should be more choice for breakfast since we stay 6 days.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was good and perfect
Cons: Limitation of food order through room service, which is only after 5:00 pm you can’t order breakfast at you room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Small and cozy, very clean and comfortable. Excellent restaurant.
Cons: Not much to say
7,0 Good
Pros: Amazing all glass walls very nice property
Cons: The location was far away from most of the attractions. The kitchen was not well equipped. Pool was very small. The staff was not very familiar with the activities that could be done around us
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Located in a secluded area, so it was peacefully quiet. We happen to rent a car from AJ rent-a-car (English GPS included), which meant that we didn’t have to worry about getting to the attractions in Jeju and back. The staff is helpful, attending to our needs. We requested for an extra pot for cooking (only 1 provided in our room), an iron & ironing board and more espresso capsules. All of which were brought to us in 10 minutes or less. If you’re looking for a romantic getaway in Jeju with your significant other, look no further, Bayhill is the one for you.
Cons: The jacuzzi was not covered, so there some leaves in it
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: The food was good
Cons: The room was not clean
7,5 Good
Pros: The building is great and the room is spacious. You can feel the design, but it is somehow not very handy. There is no stand for the laggage. The ocean view is cool and the balcony is great place to relex. It is a small hotel and I think it's more for the korean customer. There is a really good BBQ restaurant near the hotel.
Cons: There is no gym which I didn't check before I had choosen it. The location is not good and you have to rent a car or call taxi everytime. I lost my wallet on the taxi when I was leaving to the airport. It was not the hotel's fault but the communication amony hotel, taxi driver and me was broken.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are spacious and well furnished. Conveniently located to visit the south of Jeju island. Friendly staff
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Welcome drink
Cons: No tv in the sitting room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, facilities ,staff
Cons: Needed some weeding and tidying of gardens and grounds.

A stay at Hotel Gaon J Stay places you in the heart of Seogwipo, within a 10-minute walk of Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market and Lee Jung Seop Street. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, express check-in, and express check-out. Free self parking is available onsite.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Lots of great communal spaces, very friendly and helpful manager and great location in the heart of Seogwipo.
Cons: After reading some reviews before I stayed I thought that the hotel would have a 'hostel feel' but it felt very much like a Korean hotel. Very nice place but perhaps wouldn't recommend to international backpackers.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location is within walking distance from the two waterfalls, although they are both a fair descent/climb. Also walking distance to airport limousine bus stop and regular bus stop. Many restaurants and small convenience stores just around the corner. Friendly staff (though not very fluent in English). Very nice common room, here you actually meet other travellers.
Cons: The first night the wind had blown open the mosquito screen, leaving our room filled with many mosquitoes. That should not be possible. So, lack of sleep and many bites ... Second night was apparently a popular night at the bar nextdoor - lots of noise until very late. Also, somehow, this second night our whole room smelled of smoke. Again lack of sleep.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: i did not eat my breakfast there
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Good location, near to bus stops that have buses to attractions all over Jeju. Was surrounded by restaurants as well and there’s a pool table downstairs at the lobby as well as comic books!
Cons: Towels were small but it’s normal for korea I guess?
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I like everything from here. From the very first day in Jeju until the next 3 days, i had as amazing experiences. It is in the center of the Seogwipo City. You wont get lost if you are here. The room (for dormitory room) is clean and private. I am muslim and I can pray inside the room without having any hesitation about the others. It big enough for you to play a card for 4. Even though the shower room and the water closet are separated, they are still good. The facilities are amazing. Billiard board, kitchen and everything inside are superb. If you like to go to ride a city, you can rent a bike FOR FREE. I recommend you for the place that perfect for travelers. Cheap but the quality is at its finest.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Everything was good. I meet a lovely roomate name Sun (sorry if i spell it wrongly). She so funny and we had a good time chatting.
Cons: Nothing much.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is great for groups, there's a room with a pool table and tables to chill with friends/family
Cons: Its clean, but you could see stains on walls and the carpet.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Location was near a lot of restaurants. The staff in the reception explained us a lot about the area when we arrived. There was a parking lot which is useful because the street is crowded with cars. Coffee all day!
Cons: The room was a little bit dark, not a lot of light
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Great deal, awesome location, good room.
Cons: It would have been nice if there were more English or Chinese instructions.
4,3 Okay
Pros: Walking distance to Olleh Market and convenient shops and food street.
Cons: The underground parking is limited and dusty, the dust on the parking floor is at least 10cm thick. The entrance and exit of the parking are the same. It is difficult to reverse back when found the parking is full. One of the male receptionist cannot speak or listen to English. And he is rude when replying in Korean languages and he is not helpful. The room is smelly due to humid and mosquitoes are found. Aircon is leaked and our clothes hang below the aircon are wet (the hanger are located below the aircon).

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, private area
Cons: So far ok
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It's a reasonable small hotel, very good for vacation, even if I travelled for business this time. I don't like the big hotel with a lot of guests, this hotel is very quiet and comfortable.
Cons: Almost nothing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A very nice hotel, comfortabel beds and a reasonable price in the area. Staff was nice, the breakfast buffet is costly but has a huge selections so worth a visit. Two big resturants and a 24h store on the premisses.
Cons: Don’t have alot to complain about
4,5 Okay
Pros: Family friendly
Cons: No possibility to sit together with six at breakfast After asking not possible to move to small table Bad English Cleaning service move the cuddly toy from ohne of my boys, it was with the beddings in the washing kitchen, after searching 1 hour, no apologies, no little gift for the kids Having a drink in the evening not possible, in the lobby Pool was not open, Not a 5 star hotel, max 3
7,5 Good
Pros: Great location to get around some nice spots of jeju without a car (all walkable). Beautiful beach and nature! Recommend for a short stay to relax. 10 minutes to the beach! Bus from airport stops right in front!
Cons: Food around the area is indeed limited if you stay more than two nights. You have to prebook the bbq area if you want to use the service of the hotel. It was a good location, but it is basically an area full of hotels only. Some convenience stores and restaurants around. For some nice beach experience perfect though. Staff could barely speak English apart from the front desk and were quite cooperative with handling clients. Bus timetable in front only in Korean and bus driver are very rude (better have the location you want to get out ready to tell and money card in hand).
7,0 Good
Pros: Clean room
Cons: Swimming pool was not fully open they said so we could enjoy swimming. Snack bar was not ready so during the swimming we could drink anything.
8,8 Excellent
Cons: WIFI is terribly slow.
7,0 Good
Pros: Location and overall experience. Breakfast was decent.
Cons: The dinner at the hotel’s western restaurant was a complete waste of money. Not even worth 1/5 of the price they charge featuring paper-thin steak and a factory-made frozen pork cutlet. Furnitures on the terrace and lobby are poorly maintained and got stains.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: You're so close of the beach and there is a really useful bus station right in front of the hotel that can take you directly to the airport, Halansan montagne and many more really cool places. You can find everything you need around the hostel. I had a really pleasant stay because I wasn't wore not to have a car and I could see the beach from my room. There is also a free swimming pool !
Cons: The double bed could've been just a little bit bigger and there were no free tea or coffee which my friend really likes to find in hostels. But that's it
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is beautiful and the staff very attentive. The room was wonderful and we could not complain. It is also easy to access many great spots for sightseeing.
Cons: The breakfast was too pricey for what it offered. Furthermore food choices in the area are poor (not the hotel's fault of course)

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Right in front of the ocean! Very clean and the staff was very helpful.
Cons: The swimming pool/jacuzzi hours. It would have been perfect if I could relax in the jacuzzi past 7 pm. May be extend hours to 10pm?
9,3 Excellent
Pros: I liked the view of the hotel. The staff was very accomodating to our needs. We were able to walk around the hotel to get a better look at the beach around us. Amazing view overall.
Cons: I wish that we were informed that we needed to reserve our breakfast price the night before. There was a mix up when we first got there.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff
Cons: I would have liked laundry facilities
9,3 Excellent
Pros: location-which depends on your purpose, do shopping in jeju island only or have a great vacation with amazing sea view, sumorum is beside the remote beach which is 15mins taxi journey from the CBD and abt 1h taxi journey to jeju city. i love the location bcs you will be awaken by the sunshine and beautiful big blue every morning. there's one convenience store in 3mins walk, one souvenir cafe (highly recommended) and some local restos around. staff-passionate and helpful who will provide different solutions to save your money. swimming pool-clean and heaven for children and family. environment-beautiful, beautiful, beautiful with one library, gardens, trees, benches along the olle... price-fair. cleanness and tidiness-excellent, no mosquito. breakfast-three korean types and one western which can be treated as lunch which is perfect! parking-many places. olle-good for walking. traffic-in jeju, please rent a card or take a taxi. you can ask reception to help you, quick and safe. ALMOST ALL PERFECT! THANK YOU!
Cons: actually there's nothing wrong. bathroom-there's a big and clean bathtub but i personally prefer to a shower room.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel just by the water, each room does indeed look towards the ocean. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was good, and wifi worked well. Rooms were pretty spacious as well, and we enjoyed having a bathtub as well as pool access. AC in the rooms is also nice on those warmer summer days. There's a convenience store about 500m away, and also nice restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The area is really nice to walk around, and the hotel itself is quite relaxing. You also have view on a small island that you can get to by asking the local fishermen boats for a ride (for a fee, of course).
Cons: Our room had some power issues (outlets not working) that ended up needing us to switch rooms since they couldn't get it fixed easily, but overall the process was smooth and the staff very friendly. Finding the place is a bit tricky, you have to drive there and then down what looks like a bike path to get to the hotel, which at night might look like you're trying to drive into the ocean, but it's worth it!
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view of the ocean from our room, the pool was nice and refreshing after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. Great staff and nice, spacious rooms. The restaurant is at the front of the property with expansive ocean views and the staff were pleasant. They all spoke to us in English and I was very grateful for that. I will try to learn more Korean by my next visit! I would order the fries to eat by the pool. Good location for sightseeing, walking, and not far from Mt Hallasan. I would recommend a car. There is plenty of free parking. Good for families. No view on the first floor, but you get a patio with a table, near the pools.
Cons: There was nothing that I did not like. It would have been a more fun experience if we could walk on the beach, but this is not the hotel’s fault. It is a rocky beach. You can, however, sea their famous women divers at work from the beach here. Also, the hot tub was just warm, not hot.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Very good sea view. With swimming pool. Very nice staff.
Cons: A bit far from downtown, would be better with a car. Everything is clean and tidy except bed sheet.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant was good. Great value and the Chef did a great job. The waitresses were excellent especially the smiley one. I forgot her name but she is unmistakably welcoming with a great service attitude.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The only thing that I liked was location
Cons: Staffs are very rude and arrogant. Especially restaurant staffs. I had dinner at there once, and that changed my impression about this hotel due to the attitude of staffs. Plus there’s no way to let them clean the room unless you talk to directly to reception. What kind of hotel is it? And there was a broken glass cup at the hall way window and nobody cleaned it for 5 days. I won’t go back and recommend this hotel to anyone with this price and service.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was in a good location and was very clean.
Cons: Breakfast was pricey and there were limited options.

Pros: Its a nice resort with a nice view
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel and grounds. Staff were great and helped to give info and to make bookings.
Cons: Having to pay for the pool, the restaurant not open most of the time and the coffee shop/bar/cafe INSANELY overpriced.0
7,5 Good
Pros: Great location! Amazing staff, extremely helpful and kind. Well kept inside and outside the facility. Wonderful food! Great scenery and access to the water! Highly recommend!
Cons: Food was a little expensive.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: They have splendid scenery.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The property is stunning! The employees were all very kind and helpful and everyone seems to work hard to help make everyone's stay great. The view for breakfast and lounge are gorgeous! The is a fantastic cafe next door...Honeymoon House. It's pricey but worth it!
Cons: We could not use the air conditioning when we slept because the sysyem was still set to heat at nights. They lent us a fan and we bought one so we did ok...we had 2 rooms.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were extremely helpful. I was riding my bicycle to Seogwipo, and had put the comments in the booking that I would need a safe place to store my bicycle. When they saw me approaching the front door staff promptly helped me with my bicycle storage and another person helped with check in.
Cons: The lobby lounge is pricey
10,0 Excellent
Pros: On arrival, without asking, we were given upgraded rooms with magnificent views across the hotel grounds to the sea. My only complaint was about the indifferent in-room coffee and tea and there was no sugar or milk - the lack of these last two items was corrected at my request. We later discovered during our tour this lack was a common feature in hotels right across South Korea. Breakfast was pretty good and had a good mix of foods of different countries from Western "Full English/American standard" to Oriental (delicious). Would we stay there again? Given the opportunity; most certainly.
Cons: The coffee in the rooms - to call it weak did not come within a country mile of the actuality and the total absence of sugar and milk was a nuisance but this was soon rectified. The standard of car parking in the hotel car park was entirely questionable with vehicles "parked" in no parking areas. Indeed one driver left his vehicle for many hours so that it completely blocked access to one of the three disabled parking lots. As there were apparently only two disabled drivers present (inc. me) this did not prove to be a problem on this occasion. The fact that the three lots were a very noticeably distant from the entrance was an inconvenience made worse by a heavy rain-shower.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent place to destress and relax.
Cons: If only we could turn on the air-conditioner as it is very stuffy in the evenings.

9,5 Excellent
Pros: The room was quite large and extremely clean! Especially the bathroom..and I got sea-view room and it was fabulous.. Breakfast was sent directly to my room around 7.30 am. There was bread n jam, milk, a cup of yogurt, banana, and a granola bar. The hotel was pretty close to bus stops. I took bus no.600 from the airport and got off at the bus stop around 500 m from the hotel. It's walkable distance to some tourism places, such as teddy bear museum, ripleys museum, and yeomiji botanical garden.
Cons: Most of the staffs couldn't speak english pretty well, so it kinda difficult to communicate..but they're friendly and helpful..and there's google translate tho..so it didn't really matter for me..
8,8 Excellent
Pros: the front desk is kind and friendly.

Pros: great sea-view room and big enough, good location to go out or back to Jeju city nice receptionist to talk with ;-)
Cons: if would be better if facility can be update a little bit, but I heard that they will have upgrade project in 2019, if so would like to stay again next time
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, close to the bus stop, walking distance to the tourist complex. Room was clean and well maintained, had a good view of the ocean.
Cons: Does not really have a concierge, however, front desk staff are polite and willing to help. Front desk staff don’t really speak English but try their best. The large double bed in the room is actually 2 singles pushed together, so not as comfortable as it could be.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: really nice staff . reasonable price. great location
Cons: oldish room condition, poor air conditioning system
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very helpful and courteous.
Cons: The check-in time was really late in the day. The construction happening near the property was distracting.

Pros: For me the breakfast is enough and delicious. French toast is nicely done and they brought the food to your room! Bed is not very comfortable since the king size was combined by two separate single beds. Good location and quiet place.
Cons: One of the service people can't speak English which is not very comvinient. The rest of them speak perfectly English.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very near to (5 min by walking) lotte hotel and shilla hotel. 5 min to restaurants but about 20 min to jungmun resort complex and to the beach.
Cons: The staf in the hotel is very polite but they can not speak english very well, even the basic thimgs.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Nice big comfy bed! Beautifully decorated room that smelled amazing!!! The view from the room is beautiful with a ocean view.
Cons: Breakfast was a little bit disappointing as it was the same every day. Toast with butter & jam; a banana a realy small amount of yogurt, milk juice and a cereal bar.

Pros: Strategic location
Cons: Poor facility. No restaurant inside. The number of staff are lacking.

5,8 Okay
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Rooms were outdated and most of the restaurants were closed so not many options to eat.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Diana, nice beds
Cons: Old feel, old furniture, old bathrooms, old carpet, food was not tasteful
7,5 Good
Pros: Nice architecture. Nice view. Good services.
Cons: Room is a bit old. Only 2 lifts.
5,8 Okay
Pros: The architecture, and the location with sea view were good, not much more. Parking available, lobby staff welcoming. Kids playroom...
Cons: Overall, very disapointed: - Charge extra usd 10 per use to use Sauna - No room service after 10 pm (and quite far from shops) - Outdoor Swimming pool closing way too early at 6pm, do not let you open sunbrella due to light wind, but willing to charge you extra for cabana (tents) only available shadow... - Swimming pool showers has only cold water (freezing clod) - Other than reception, staff cannot speak english - Very noisy, example, vaccum cleaning bar in bulding center at 3am, middle of the night. - Overpriced buffet breakfast for what you've got 35usd per persons... - Not possible to smoke anywhere
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staffs are all kind. It has beautifull view with outdoor swimming pool. Indoor pool is good for family too. Room is clean with good ammenities.
7,5 Good
Pros: Stylish if dated hotel Beautiful gardens and sea view Beach access Decent breakfast Wonderful staff Family friendly
Cons: Rooms clean but in need of refurbishment, especially the bathroom. One of the two restaurants closed for entire stay. Pools quite cold.
5,8 Okay
Pros: The hotel restaurant food was good but not much variety.the swimming pool is nice .location is nice
Cons: The service was not good , the hotel rooms are very old need renovation. They don’t make up the rooms after 4:30 PM so if you need anything from house keeping you need to wait tell next day , that is not normal for 5 star resort .
4,3 Okay
Pros: The final reaction of the GM to sort out some of the problems
Cons: People demotivated Bad customer orientation Hotel needs a full modernization Rooms are cold and ugly
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Splendid place just by the beach, amazing gardens and pools including whirlpool. Your kids can feed carps in the lobby, there is also a indoor playroom for them. Very close to botanical garden and Teddy Bear museum
Cons: Very expensive breakfast we decided not to join (very good Seren di bagel Café is near and Starbucks as well) and quite shabby rooms, but perfectly clean.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel looks like a honey structured building from the outside and tropically decorated from the inside. It’s the last hotel situated on a street along with Lotte and Shila Hotels that offers amazing private ocean views (our room had a balcony, 2 chairs, and a table). Although the hotel seems a bit dated, the scenery onsite and private access to Jungmun Beach makes up for it. The white chapel seen in Korean dramas is indeed spectacular. Staff spoke great English and offered assistance and umbrellas to use during the wet and stormy weather at the end of June. Parking was free.
Cons: Since the parking lot was a bit small, it was sometimes hard to find parking.

Cons: No rice cooker
6,3 Good
Pros: Good location. Good price.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious room with bathtub and really good floor heating. Location great, very close to Olle Market, to Olle information centre and to start point for the Olle trails 7 and 7-1. The bus stop is just a few metres away with buses riding to many destinations of touristic interest. Also the shopping area of Seogwipo is within walking distance.
Cons: It takes quite a while until the hot water starts runing when showering. Am just thinking of the water waste...
5,5 Okay
Pros: Location is great and the rooms are very spacious.
Cons: The hostel was quite dirty.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: A friend that I met while I stayed there, she was kind and told me that minjoonggak is like her second home, I believe the place is comfortable and nice.
7,5 Good
Pros: Strategic location.
Cons: The reception area could be clean up from clutters.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: All. The location is quiet & away from noises. I love this calm town. The owners are very very helpful & friendly. I just love the environment here. The wifi are also so good.
Cons: Need to provide iron station.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I appreciated the logic of leaving our room key at the front '"desk" when we left our room. It is incrediblely close to a bus hub for outings. Seogwipo is a nice city to wander through.
Cons: The outer was a little sticky, but that's not too bad.
4,5 Okay
Pros: Checked in around 1pm and everything seemed semi-ok at first. Not a particularly nice guesthouse, but functional and has a good location.
Cons: Came back at 7:30pm and by then someone had moved my stuff to the side and taken my bed. Hotel staff was nowhere to be found. Tried to call them, msg them etc but no luck. Waited around about an hour before giving up and booking somewhere else. Barely managed to get in another guesthouse before 9pm. Almost had to sleep on the street. Also, no refund from Expedia yet.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The location was amazing. The hostel was right by Arang Joeul Food Street as well as a rotary with tons of shops. Seogwipo Olle Market was a bit more of a walk. Tons of bus stops, great food, great people. The room itself was fairly cozy and nice to come back to after a long day, and I ended up having the room to myself for all but one night. I loved having heated floors and a private bathroom. They also had adapters if you are from elsewhere like me.
Cons: I can't really complain! However, it would have been nice if there was English to supplement the map of bus stops and places to visit in the lobby. I ended up figuring it out by my second day anyway, so it wasn't a big deal. Kakaomaps is your friend.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: the location
Cons: the owner didnt speak much english, the "no smoking" rule only exists on paper unfortunately, there is only 1 key per room which is not so cool in a room with 4+ strangers

Pros: Location was actually good, but no beach next to the hotel. Close to waterfalls and food market.
Cons: Stuff can barely speak and understand english. Bad(smoking/toilet) smell in rooms, we changed the room once. Our room was cleaned only on last day of our stay.(we stayed 4 days) and... We had a huge cockroach in the room!
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is perfect for the family with children. The room was very spacious and there was a local bus from the airport. Further it was closed to the local market and a lot of restaurants.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The room is big.
Cons: The facilities are getting too old.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is in a great location and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. I'd suggest requesting a higher floor if possible.
Cons: The toilet in the bathroom needs to be flushed and refilled manually. We had to move rooms due to the smell of the toilet in our first room.
5,5 Okay
Pros: -Location. -Breakfast was good and there was a lot of different options.
Cons: We booked this hotel just a few days before the check-in without really reading the reviews. So if your expecting to stay at a four star hotel, I would not book a room from this hotel. -The room was dirty, stains on the wall (probably some old food?) and bathroom door. There was also a lot of dust. Seemed like the room hadn't been cleaned properly in a long time. The washing machine had a bad smell and probably hadn't been cleaned in a while. We also found two pieces of old clothes in the washing machine. The rooms dirtiness bothered us so much, that we complained about this to the reseption staff and asked to get another room which we also did. -The furniture was old and worn out. -No daily coffee or tea bags in the room, just the only ones that you get when you check in. -Staff did not really speak much English. -There is a really big kitchen in the room, but no kitchenware. Not even a microwave. Only one microwave in the whole hotel.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Close to both, cheap and expensive restaurants. Close to the strand and the waterfalls. The room was big, dinner table was provided. The bathroom and the shower are in separate rooms which I found it convenient. There is a space outside the shower where the basin is located with storage space (cabinet etc). There is a wash mashine in the room (very silence) and detergent can be provided at reception. I like the room with the big windows and the big bed. Good aircondition.
Cons: A strange smell from the bathroom early in the mornings.
6,3 Good
Pros: The property was close to the beach & the staff were nice. They called cabs for us when we needed it. Convenient store on the first floor was very useful.
Cons: The hotel had a really bad smell. The rooms smelled, no matter how long we kept the fans going & windows open. You can tell they don’t do a good job cleaning it. I didn’t use any of the towels on my body.
7,0 Good
Pros: Good location, very big room and the washing machine was a big plus.
Cons: The hotel is a bit run down and doesn't make the best first impression. There where cracks in the ceiling of our room. One light was out and the cable of the telephone was cut. Also the staff didn't make one of the beds.
7,5 Good
Pros: Excellent location - a very short walk to restaurants, cafes, bus stop etc. We had a great view from our window and found the place very quiet. The room was spacious and it was really useful having a washing machine. The staff were generally helpful and friendly, although I was wrongly advised as to the cost of a taxi to the airport.
Cons: - strange smell from the bathroom. One night it was so strong it actually woke us up. The shower cubical looked a bit jaded. This also applies to some of the fixtures and fittings, which were starting to come apart. - I’m not sure what the point of all the storage space and the Kitchenette is when you’re only provided with two mugs and you have to go downstairs to microwave anything?? - we only had breakfast once as it wasn’t included. Vastly overpriced for what is a basic breakfast. The plastic food actually looked more appealing. Also, appalling waste of paper cups, which also makes the place look cheap.

Pros: The manager (Jack) was very nice. Location is good because we did not want to stay in the city. Very nice Korean residential area. It is very near to Jungmun Beach. Convenience stores are very near. A cafe is just in front of the property. Parking space is available.
Cons: The beds were a little hard on the body. There was no microwave but bearable. The towels were actually hand towels and not bath towels. I am thinking this may be a Korean thing. So we did not bother to complain about it. It would be an issue if you need a bath towel :)
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Location was good. View of sea and near to beach, mall and other places.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The studio is very spacious The price is cheap considering the space and the facilities The staff is friendly although can speak limited English.
Cons: A bit dusty inside the cabinet. There’s no English instruction on how to use the heater controller, rice cooker etc. Everything is in Korean. Will be helpful if there’s basic english instruction
7,5 Good
Pros: The place is value for money and the room quite big.
Cons: There is a lift but still need to climb a stair. i bringing my mother who using a wheelchair so it quite troublesome. I pay using credit card upon booking but and when arrival the host asking for cash. I'm a bit confused because i have booked for 5 places and one of the place i already pay in advance. so i just pay first without looking at my booking information. later on after checkout i realized i already double paid for the room. so guys please be more cautious and alert if u already made payment upon your booking. I manage to contact booking customer service and they will refund back the amount.

Our room is provided with 2 beds which is a plus for us. Mart is 5 minute drive-away from here.
Cons: Don't expect it like a 5 star hotel.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: It is near to Worldcup stadium. E Mart is just next to the stadium. The travelling time to the 3 waterfalls and other attraction in the west is near. Plenty of parking space.
Cons: We book a room for 4 which 2 sleep on double bed and the other 2 on futon bed. The futon bed is quite thin, therefore it is like sleeping on the hard floor. Request for bed instead. The bed is nice and comfortable.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: the room is very clean, tidy and comfortable...the outside view is amazingly beautiful
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Stayed here many times, we live on the island and this is our go-to for a weekend getaway! Amazing location, quiet, close to hiking trails and the water, staff is very kind and helpful. Do yourself a favor and eat dinner at the restaurant on the first floor its delicious! Oh and rooms have been newly updated!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: 1. The owner is very helpful and friendly. Suggest places for us to visit, even though we have difficulties to communicate. 2. The kitchen really helpful - not for cooking but traveler will appreciated this a lot.
Cons: 1. They are not provided iron. 2. Our room directly above restaurant, at the evening the smell from the diner too strong for us - we had to escape until after dinner.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The room size huge with comfy beds and the view out of the window was breathtaking,it was soo good I could get up to that view 365 days a year .This location is not too far but only if u hire a a car .if u don't hire a car pls choose another hotel as getting around will be massive pain.
Cons: The breakfast could be a bit more better than jam and bread although the apple jam was really really tasty. No tea coffee provided in the room or at the reception. There was a stove top but no were utensils provided .
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I live in Jeju-si and have stayed here several times when I want a break in nature. The view is amazing, the spa tub is amazing and in my opinion the restauraunt downstairs has the best pork on the island. Its located right along the olle 7 and by a bus line and an airport bus stop so it's easily accessed.
3,3 Mediocre
Cons: Dirty room toilet bed sheet and have to ask keeper to clean everyday. Charge me 1 full week of room upgrade but I only stay in the upgrade room for 1 night. Location inconvenient and room is tiny.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The owner is so nice. The resort has a glass elevator. If you drive yourself, you can just park beside the resort.
Cons: The owner provide towel, soap, shampoo, hair conditioner, body wash. There is hair dryer, bowls and cups in the room too. Overall the studio is clean and cozy.

Pros: Good location. Bath
Cons: Small room

Cons: There was an air conditioner, however, it couldn't be plugged in as the plug was very short. We could thus not use it. At least the weather was good. I couldn't imagine going without aircon in summer though.
