The location was great. Nicely decorated rooms. Very clean. Friendly staff.
I was allocated a small attic room top floor, 3 flights of stairs. Luckily I had just a small suitcase otherwise it would have been a real struggle negotiating 57 stairs in total! Unfortunately the top 3 rooms have no sound proofing, and I was kept awake the second night by the guests in the adjoining room. The TV and their phone conversations may just as well have been in my room. Very loud - and same thing next morning. This would not stop me from returning to the St Albert, it’s on a great location. But I would be sure to request a sound proofed room next time.
Location, clean rooms
No receptionist 24h
Perhaps not their fault but parking and breakfast wasnt included as booking.com agreed it was! A misrepresentation!!
I arrived here by bicycle and asked to stay an extra day, so they had to put me in a garrett room. I expected it to be poor, but it was beautiful, sympathetic; exposed beams, sprayed to look like frost. Plus air conditioning and right in the centre of the town. Furthermore the staff were so friendly and obliging. I had a very hard ride, in the heat, to get to Sarlat and got really bad cramps in my legs whilst having a beer in the Albert's pavement cafe. It was bad I thought I would pass out from the pain --- the staff and passers-by wete suddenly all around me proffering help. So kind
Excellent staff. Traditional atmosphere free Parking a short distance away
Even more variety at breakfast
