Very central location. Big and clean room.
Great location, with a sense of atmosphere from another era. It was great to have a traditional restaurant in the premises. The musician playing in the courtyard is a nice touch. The rooms are basic, as expected and advertised, but very comfortable.
The room facing the main street was quite noisy and the bathroom was awkward with a step up from the level of the room. -it would help the noise if the doors to the balcony were better sealed. The second night we changed to an inner room -the bathroom was better and it was quiet.
The location is great, easy to find on a pedestrianised road so that is really good.
The communication via Whatsapp feels shady and it was particualrly bad the way I was being harrased and threatened with cancellation of my booking because the card I put down to do the booking was declined. My bank had stopped the payment until they could confirm I was using my Uk card in Mexico. I was driving in the motorway from Guadalajara to Queretaro which I explained to the person contacting me on the whatsapp number and could hardly deal with my bank then although I tried. I still got a message saying my booking had been cancelled and it was only until I asked for a notification email via booking.com that I got it and could add a different card. I am not sure if the hotel was intending for me to give details of my credit card via whatsapp to a number I have never seen before. THe room was small but the main problem was that the door of the room leads to the courtyard where the restaurant is, and it is soo poorly installed that all the noise, heat and smells come right through. Birds on the planters outside start chirping from 6am and it feels like they're inside the room. Somebody from the maintenance staff decided it was a good idea to sand the wooden bench outside the room, instead of taking it somewhere else to do it, so afternoon rest was out the window too.
Great location in Centro area. Many parks, restaurants, stores very close by. On site restaurant is very good. Charming inner court area.
A tiny bit noisy because the inner court is also the restaurant, but very tolerable. Stairs to room, but of course there are no elevators in these charming old buildings! Just asked for help with our bags.
Fantastic location . That would be for me the biggest selling point of this hotel . Staff very friendly and helpful .
My room didn’t have a window which made it feel a bit claustrophobic.
