Loved it! Everything super clean!the staff was super friendly ! Food was great!! Would def return
This is an all inclusive hotel, top shelf liquor and all meals. Would recommend the upgrade to premium level with separate check in and a premium level lounge serving snacks and drinks all day' The staff were just excellent, there are a number of specialty restaurants that you can book with 24 hours notice and even a minibar that is replenished daily. The local historic town is worth a stroll around particularly if you like Mexican art.
The buffet can get a little boring so mix it up with the other restaurants. But really there was nothing that I didn't like.
Good location, nice landscapes
Seems like need more maintenance: broken elevators, broken lamps on the premises, broken pool (my son cut his leg on one pool because the pool was cracked and the crack was sharp on its borders). The electric power went out, affecting the elevators which had dismantled button panels. We didn’t have towels for 3 days in a row, reception took an average of 45 minutes to answer the phone.
The beach and pool are excellent, rooms older in style were large with firm mattresses. Rooms quiet. Plenty of bottled water, good housekeeping, air con noisy. Could sleep with balcony door open if you wanted as had a screen door. Small line to dry swimmers. Bar staff were happy to make any cocktails. All wait staff friendly and helpful and efficient. Easy parking under hotel. A variety of shops and bars of good quality across the road. Despite short comings the price of $US 805 for the week made the stay a high rating.
The buffet food isn't terrific. Lots of vegetables to make salads though and soups good. The hot food served in bain marie's is over cooked and looks unappetizing. Flavour was fine. The speciality restaurant food looks good, tastes ok, often over cooked protein and cold soups and proteins, like they were pre cooked and plated a long time before serving. Entertainment is missable. Didn't see anyone ever join in activities. All too busy relaxing. Hotel wife dropped in and out as did our 3G and 4G data so beware if you need connection for work. Some lifts were often turned off and ice machine out of order on our floor. $23US plus $6 charge to use the ATM in gift shop for US dollars.
The food was amazing, as well as the infinity pool in facing the beach!
