Pros: Exellent location, amazing service, fastest room service ever (took about 6 minutes to get our cuppucinos in bed at six o'clock in the morning), and a very nice cafe and restaurant. Definitely coming back!
Cons: The gym is very small, and not open 24 ours.
Pros: Perfect central location.
The staff are professional, polite and friendly.
The hotel has a lovely bar area.
Rooms are very clean. Sheets are changed everyday.
Cons: Gym very small and poor of equipments
Pros: the location is great even though very hard to get there.
Cons: We got there late at night and could not get to the street. The stuff is nice and polite. the hotel was too kitchy for us, the price was very high for the value. The room they gave us was very far and noisy from the motors of the a\c. With this cost you would expect more!
Pros: Service was excellent! The best I have ever experienced. Real 5 star service from the doorman, front desk, restaurant staff, bar tender, housekeeping, etc., all the employees were extremely courteous, helpful, attentive, and professional.
Hotel is very nicely and tastefully decorated, lots of artwork and fancy walls, ceilings, etc, and our room was very comfortable. They gave us a free upgrade upon check-in (from a deluxe room to a grand deluxe).
Location is perfect - it is right in the middle of town, close to all the attractions, restuarants, and shopping. Yet the inside of the hotel is very quiet and relaxing.
Breakfast buffet (included in our room rate) was AMAZING!! Excellent food, lots of choices, and of course excellent service from the staff.
I think it would be OK for kids, but it is probably better suited for adults.
My wife and I had a wonderful time and I highly recommend this hotel!
Cons: There is a small gym which I would have liked to be bigger with more equipment
The grand deluxe room was a good size, but I think the standard rooms are quite small, especially for what U.S. tourists are used to.
Pros: The service was excellent and the room very clean. The location is unbeatable.
Cons: The room could have more confortable sitting like an arm chair for example. The price was a bit over the top. Breakfast could be improved by for example warm croissants and toast instead of cold ones and fresh juices offered as part of the continental menu.
Pros: Everything. The hotel employees went above and beyond. The rooms were immaculately clean and decorated extremely tastefully. All in all an amazing stay.
Cons: For a leading hotel of the world the spa was slightly limited but we appreciate that the building is old so it’s limited as to how much they can put in.
Pros: It had the charm of an old hotel, nicely furnished kept in excellent condition. Everything worked.
Cons: Less keen on the music on a loop and occasional ‘radio’ style announcements played in the lounge/bar. A pianist in the evenings would have been much nicer.
Pros: We liked everything about this hotel. We found the staff all very professional and helpful Especially Antonella on the reception.

Pros: Everything! Location, family history, staff, facilities, rooms, water dispenser on each floor. Excellent!
Pros: Excellent location for expoloring gastronomic Bologna. Uniquely decorated rooms - ours was a dark nordic blue loft room. Good breakfast. Helpful staff
Pros: We didn’t actually stay in the main property, we stayed in an apartment close by. It was very spacious with everything we needed. The best location too. Love the Nespresso machine
Cons: We didn’t bother with the breakfast we needed to get to make our way to the main part of the hotel. Quite expensive for what it is, however I think it was just because it was New Years.
Pros: Staff were excellent although they did not replenish the tea sachets in our 3 day stay
Cons: Sockets were very odd
Pros: Close to the Piazza Maggiore, friendly staff, a lovely room with a big bath tub and a very comfortable bed. After working in Lombardia for the two weeks previously, I enjoyed my night in Bologna at the hotel very much and was able to finally relax with ease here. It was just a shame I had such an early flight as I didn't want to leave.
Pros: The hotel room was well designed, versatile, and convenient for business trip; there was a good service and nice breakfast

Cons: Everything was perfect :)
Pros: Room was spacious, clean, with big twin beds, ocerall it was great! Very polite and helpful staff.
Cons: The bar was poor.. Also the distance to the center was walkable but quite far..
Cons: It was a bit far from the center of the city.
Pros: The hotel is spotless and the staff are very polite. It is located very near to the s. Orsola Hospital (5 min. Walk) and about 15 min. Walk to the city center.
A stay at Art Hotel Commercianti places you in the heart of Bologna, steps from Basilica of San Petronio and Piazza Maggiore. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Excellent location, very friendly staff and great and romantic style. This hotel is perfect for discovering the old city of Bologna!
Pros: The location is absolutely perfect, right in the centre of the city. Reception staff were very gracious and helpful. Made a reservation at a restaurant for us and ordered a taxi to the airport. The room was a little on the small size, but very comfortable. Bed was large, plenty of space for two. Very comfortable bed and pillows with extra blankets with the wardrobe. Shower pressure and temperature is good. Free Wifi in our room had good connection strength and speed. Breakfast was excellent and diverse. Fruits, pastries, cereals, yogurts. Eggs, sausages and a selection of hams and meats.
Cons: Restaurant is in the basement so there are no views of the outside.
With a stay at Art Hotel Novecento, you'll be centrally located in Bologna, within a 5-minute walk of Piazza Maggiore and Museum of Giorgio Morandi. Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: The hotel was quite good, the staff very friendly and helpful the rooms nice and clean but the breakfast needs to be improved.
Pros: central location, very nice service, convenient for business work, delicious breakfast, clean room
Cons: probably, the bed mattress could be improved
Pros: First off all its in a Perfect location, you can walk everywhere in a few mins.the room is very clean and very beautiful.bed is very comfortable.even small details like the smell of the shampoo or the quality of the slippers are very good and well thought.
Cons: Check in and out times are too late too early
Pros: It is a very cozy boutique hotel in the heart of Bologna. Staff attentive and very professional, clean room and excellent breakfast. I recommend it for business travel as the place is very quiet.
Cons: Everything was excellent.
Pros: Great location and friendly staff
Cons: Getting there and parking are challenging, beds were a bit uncomfortable and, in our room, we could hear the sliding door at the entrance every time it opened and closed.
Pros: Great location near Piazza Maggiore. Very quiet and comfy room with a nice view.
With a stay at Savoia Hotel Regency in Bologna (Bologna Fiere District), you'll be within a 10-minute drive of BolognaFiere and National Art Gallery of Bologna. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: I like everything about hotel
Cons: It was so fantastic but what I don't like when I was checking out a lady collected €6 from me again
Pros: The breakfast was very good and very delicious. There was a lot of food to choose from so if you wanted to you could choose every morining something different. The staff was also very proffesional. The tables were cleaned as soon as you left, so when you arrived there the tables were clean. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Also no we heard no noise at all for the duration of our stay. There there are several bus stations very close to the hotel (2 to 5 minutes walking to them depending to which one you want to go) and you can take one bus straight to the city center, or train station (and they arrive from 10 to 10 minutes). For the airport we had to take 2 buses but no big deal.
Cons: The bathroom fan was not working (but I think that was only for our room and not a big deal). Another thing that in my opinion would have been nice (but definitely not a show stopper) is that they should have offered a free bottle on water every day and not have to pay for it. (a lot of hotels that I've been in do this thing and I think is nice).
Pros: Great staff, excellent room, delicious breakfast and a secure parking, at a very reasonable price.
Pros: Very hospitable staff. Pet and family friendly. Excellent restaurant and very comfortable room! Extremely reasonable prices. Very good breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice.
Cons: The hotel isn't centrally located, but is near a bunch of nice greenery which is ideal for families with pets.
Pros: Great facilities eg easy parking . Great restaurant.
Pros: A beautiful place to stay. Rooms are very clean and comfort. The service is amazing with 24/7 reception. The staff are very friendly and glad to assist you. The restaurant is also very good with room service until 22:00h There is also a gym open 24/7 Parking is available and free of charge.
Cons: The location is not close to Bolonga city center but there are some shops and a pharmacy close to the hotel (10 walk)
Cons: I would have liked the hotel laundry service to be offered on the weekends because I had to go to walk and find my own place to do laundry.

Pros: staff always helpful
Cons: not enough sockets in the room; fitness facility was tiny, with hardwood floors
Pros: Good location, big room
Pros: Lobby and restaurant were lovely and updated, unfortunately that's not where you actually stay.
Cons: Rooms were terribly outdated and dirty with stained carpets that goes half way up the wall... nothing like the lobby. Staff is rude. Would never stay here again.
Pros: Super convenient location, specious room, wonderful breakfast and friendly staff
Pros: The location is in front of the bologna central station. The staff are helpful. The room was spacious.
Pros: Cheerful and obliging staff and beautiful spacious and luxurious room.
Pros: Location, cleanness, comfortable bed, stylish interior, spacy room. The staff is also very kind and professional.
Pros: good location，good breakfast，considerable staffs.
Pros: Perfect location, across the main train station where airbus from airport also stops. Walking distance to historical city centre. Easy access to shops and restaurants. It was very clean and the staff were very nice and helpful.
Cons: Rooms were little modest but ok. I had problem only with bathroom- the glass dor at the shower seemed like they would fall apart when opening and closing, and also - it was hard to set up the water (it was either very very hot or cold). This however didn’t influence the overall impression. I would definately come back
A stay at Royal Hotel Carlton places you in the heart of Bologna, within a 15-minute walk of Piazza Maggiore and Museum of Giorgio Morandi. Featured amenities include a business center, limo/town car service, and express check-in. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Wonderful location in a central yet quiet part of the city. The room was spacious even though we had the smallest room in the hotel. Everything in the room was in perfect condition, including all of the tiling and trim. The staff was nice and helpful and friendly to our 3-year old. Breakfast was large and wonderful with cappuccino made to order. The bed was really comfortable. Truly we couldn't ask for anything more in a hotel. It was wonderful.
Pros: Nice clean room, beautiful facilities
Cons: There was little choice for healthy for breakfast, natural serials cost very little to add instead of crispy chemical ones :-((. Juice is chemical too :-((
Pros: Everything was perfect, very clean and amazing staff
Pros: The location and breakfast
Cons: The heating system was not working properly in the room
A stay at Il Canale Hotel places you in the heart of Bologna, within a 10-minute walk of Fountain of Neptune and Piazza Maggiore. Featured amenities include limo/town car service, express check-in, and express check-out. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
Pros: Location, staff very friendly and accommodating, room size great!
Cons: Beds slightly hard but not the end of the world
Pros: Location very good. Quiet.Just a short stroll to piazza maggiore. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast fine .
Cons: I stayed here a few years ago and it was very fresh, but now the whole place looks like it desperately needs an upgrade . Hence I expect the reasonable room rate.
Pros: Very good staff, very good location, very good breakfast and we booked there early with very good pricing so we liked there really a lot
Cons: The sound isolation between rooms wasn’t good I woke up early because of neighbors
Pros: Nice room. Very helpful personnel, perfet place to stay near the centre.
Cons: The fact that i paid the city taxes although booking said i paid the taxes!!!
Pros: Location, breakfast, quiet.
Cons: The hand towels were a bit strange, more like small sheets. Very hot at night, like most European hotels. Otherwise a very nice stay.
Pros: Great location and very friendly staff, they recommended a restaurant and booked a table for us on Friday night when we arrived late in the evening. We also had a nice bottle of Prosecco waiting for us in the fridge as it was my fiancé’s birthday weekend! Great value for money!
Pros: This hotel is in quite an old building on the edge of central Bologna that you might want to see is walkable, including numerous good restaurants. The decor of the hotel is quite quirky, we liked it, lots of interesting things to see. The bed was excellent and we slept incredibly well.
Cons: The breakfast could be improved with better coffee and fresher bread.
Pros: Located in the center of the old town, walking time to the Piazza del Nettuno are 5 minutes. When you arrive with your own car, be aware that you are not allowed to enter the ZTL. Parking is possible in a parking at Piazza VIII Agosto. From there the hotel is two blocks away in walking distance. The hotel has it's charm, every floor has a theme and thus a different decoration. The owner/manager was very welcoming us and we felt comfortable there.
Cons: Because of the ZTL I send an email in advance which remained unanswered. However with researching the Internet I was able to answer the questions by myself.
Pros: All people from the staff were very nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable and everything was spot-clean. Would stay again.

Pros: Premier location, good breakfast, excellent staff. One of the best stays me and my wife have ever had

Pros: Nice hotel in great location
Pros: Spent one night at Hotel Paradise, which is in a quiet central location. The Rooms was spacious and the staff was really friendly. Would definitely go back again.
Pros: Great location just around the corner from finestrella and main shopping strip. Cons: No issues it was ideal for our stay Father and daughter
The NH Bologna de la Gare hotel is in the heart of the city and only steps away from Bologna train station. Many of the city’s top attractions, such as the Piazza Maggiore, San Petronio, and Torri degli Asinelli, as well as the many delicious restaurants, trendy shops, and bars are easily accessible by foot. One of the city’s main business venues, the Bologna Fair Center, is only 3km away. You can easily reach the airport, which is 9km away. NH Bologna de la Gare has 156 cozy rooms. While they feature a traditional decor, each is equipped with modern comforts such as free Wi-Fi, a TV, and a mini-bar. For stunning views of Bologna, check in to one of our top floor suites. We serve a delicious daily breakfast that features a varied spread of options, including classic continental staples and local favorites such as Italian mortadella. The Amarcord Restaurant is a great place for lunch or dinner. The menu features both international dishes and local specialties, with a focus on delicacies from the Emilia Romagna region. There is a lobby bar, where you can taste local grappa or sip on your favorite cocktail. The hotel also has 7 meeting rooms for up 220 people.
Pros: Lovely spacious room, comfortable clean and quiet. Amazing breakfast, central location ideal for airport/train station
Pros: Proximity to the train station
Cons: The hotel is extremely dated, and we were placed in a smoking room, which we didn't even realize still existed. The room smelled disgusting, and we had to keep the window open to circulate the air...and also to cool us down because the heat setting in the room was unbearable and not adjustable.
Pros: location is convenient, staff very helpful, breakfast was very good
Cons: above the lobby, hallways and rooms are in need of updates - dingy and old carpets and light fixtures.
Pros: Hotel staff were very courteous towards a couple of special requests, but then when we changed plans, they made the special requests available anyway, which was a very nice touch considering how difficult they were. The room was extremely spacious with a great array of TV channels in English. The WiFi was great, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was enormous. Spotlessly clean and although there wasn't a great view, it was perfect for our stay. The location was sublime, just 2 minutes from the train station, which for tourists is great for day trips to Verona, Modena, Ferrara, Florence and even Rome! It is also just half hour by bus to the airport, which costs €6 per person ans is reliable. All in all, I'd definitely stay again!
Cons: Everything was stunning, we had no complaints at all. The only thing that'd make this even better would be an indoor pool
Pros: Close to the train station and comfortable large bed.
Cons: We were given a room which was very large but had an old bathroom with a strong smell of cleaning products. Also there were no proper lights, only a couple lamps.
Pros: Quick check in and check out, clean rooms, good free WiFi, substantial breakfast with lots of options. Close to the station, but about 20 minutes walk to the main square
Cons: We're expecting the kettle in room as was indicated on the photos. Also no welcome drink as simple as a bottle of water. I thought most hotels already propose free welcome water for the clients
Pros: The hotel is excellent and very well located. Breakfast was great.
Cons: Room was not so clean. We found a small piece of broken glass on the floor. bathroom also a bit dirty. Apart from that, everything was great.
Pros: Exceptional breakfast. A lot of choices and all fresh and tasty. Clean nice room, good bathroom with enough place to put all your belongings. Just 4 minutes walking distances to the train station and 10 minutes to the city center. The staff was very nice.
Cons: We liked everything.
Pros: Great location, easy to get into the hotel from the airport shuttle and to connect to the rest of italy by either the bus or train stations (5 minutes walk). Easy to walk into the city center and explore (20 minutes to the two towers). Modern and comfortable hotel room. We checked out in the morning but they kept our luggage in storage while we walked around town! Wonderful staff.
Cons: Everything was wonderful actually.
Pros: Location was fine. It was clean and very businesslike efficiënt. The bed was good, the room was not too small. The staff was friendly and probably spoke good Italian. Good breakfast.
Cons: Lacked atmosphere. Some noise from a washingmachine in the night and loud television from the room next door was surprising in a modern building, but I slept well anyway. The shower in the bath with glass panel doors would not be my choice. The price of the minibar was prohibitive and not posted anywhere.

Cons: Nothing! It is great. There's nothing to not like about this place.
Pros: Is possible gluten free food
Cons: i book this apartment with pay on the hotel witch have extra money to pay if you book it like this so 15 days before arrive there they force to draw the money with out inform me and because i didnt have money into the card they cancel it with out a alert. after that i contact the hotel and they force me to pay it again from start so i pay it and suddenly i couldnt go to italy. if they keep they roles i could win the money that i pay because i book it with cancelation 1 day before my trip. so they politics of hotel is so bad

Pros: Nice hotel, could be a bit modernised, very good quality breakfast Nice restaurant limited choice, not cheap
Cons: Poor free WiFi, fast internet payable, this does not fit these times. Noisy fan bathroom, you could hear it in the room. No pillow service, flat pillow, need to put towels to bring to desired height.
Pros: Great hotel .. large clean room. Great staff
Pros: It was not very nice.
Cons: The room was spacious.
Pros: Great breakfast (appreciated also having non-dairy milk), nice and clean hotel, friendly staff; no real major complaints.
Cons: I booked double bed + single bed. Was given 3 single instead. I was way too tired to care much though. Apparently they tried to contact me but got my number wrong -- I'm assuming this was a genuine case of "unfortunately sometimes it happens". On another note, the sandwiches in the vending machine were mouldy when I visited (didn't have any), but management take note to double check for short shelf-life items.
Strategically located in front of the Central Station, close to the historic centre and the trade-fair centre, the new UNAHOTELS Bologna Centro is the ideal place for both business and leisure trips. Its 93 rooms, 6 suites and 3 meeting rooms offer comfortable facilities equipped with the latest design and technology. The bar with terrace and the restaurant provide moments of relaxation and refreshment.Indoor garage.
Pros: Great location, modern facilities, good quality room and bed, well equipped bathroom. Modern, contemporary architecture.
Cons: The bar was empty, no service personnel was in charge there in peak time.
Pros: We really liked location. Very easy to reach from/to airport, oldtown, city red bus and FICO bus station.
Cons: Hotel was nice, but then we asked for some things that was missing in the room ( like slippers) they were out of that. And other guests requested other things hotel was out of them too. :)) looks like they were not really prepared as 4* property.
Pros: Great location, albeit a little noisy but that’s no fault of the hotel. Accommodation was brilliant, lovely spacious clean rooms with all the amenities you could want or need. Breakfast was tasty with a good selection of food and drinks.
Cons: Only thing that could have been better would be a better selection of satellite channels in the room and that’s being really picky.
Pros: Breakfast good. Location very near railway - good. Modern business hotel with most of the facilities you would expect.
Cons: The booking form does not accurately describe the room. Most is accurate, some irrelevant differences (carpets etc) but it clearly says there is a "coffee machine". Amazingly, there was not even a kettle to boil water for a late night cup of tea and no way of getting some easily. Reception were almost rude and stated that it is "impossible" for the room to have a kettle and disputed the schedule on the booking form. Eventually they sent up a jug and one mug/tea bags etc and then had to bring a second mug. Pretty silly behaviour. All rooms should have a kettle.
Pros: Breakfast was very good. It was nice for Americans like us to have scrambled eggs and bacon available, in addition to the traditional Italian offerings, which were also very good.
Cons: The room reeked of perfumed room spray, too strongly. But everything else was nice.

Pros: The hotel is cleaned and the bed was big king size I’d say.
Cons: Facilities linkage isn’t good as there aren’t any public transport. Walking distance to town is 45 min. Car is needed. Train station showed in maps out of service.
Pros: Great and cheap breakfast, espacially for Italy. Nice and modern furnishing.
Cons: The shower had some small dirty spots.
Pros: The place is good . Everything went well. The reception was great.

Pros: Excellent location.
Cons: Small room.
Pros: The location is in the historical center on a quiet side street. The hotel was charming and clean. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and creative. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Pros: The friendly and helpful staff made the stay here most pleasant.
Cons: The location of this hotel could not be better.
Pros: Breakfast was optional as we stayed in the apartments, we enjoyed it twice. Staff were very friendly, helped/excused our lack of Italian by speaking beautiful English. Location was perfect for our requirements and the apartment exceeded our expectations. Thank you!!
Cons: There wasnt anything we didnt like - there was a hiccup with the lift one afternoon, but, as we had stairs, wasnt a big issue.
Pros: Modern, warm when visiting in January. Lovely breakfast. Beautiful room with a terrace.
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
Pros: Hotel is perfectly located in Central. Hotel staff are also nice.
Pros: The room was spacious, well-equipped and the spa bath was wonderful.
Cons: Second bed wasn’t quite as comfortable.
Cons: Room was very noisy.
Pros: Decor of room, private terrace
Cons: Location of hotel is in side street within Limited Traffic Zone, making it almost impossible to find and parking was two blocks away.
With a stay at Savoia Hotel Country House in Bologna (Bologna Fiere District), you'll be within a 10-minute drive of BolognaFiere and FICO Eataly World. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location of the hotel
Cons: Restaurant was full and no meals in the hotel.
Pros: Staff were great. Breakfast was brilliant. Beautiful area & surrounds. Backs onto a beautiful park which was full of Autumn colours including rabbits.
Cons: Tiny room. But, it was comfortable and clean.
Pros: That we were upgraded to a better room due to being disappointed that we could not eat in the hotel restaurant. The breakfast is always good here.
Cons: Disappointed that the restaurant was closed,.
Cons: Single use plastic cups in the bathroom. I really wish such top-of-the-line hotels could care more about the environment, and ameliorate the experience offered by providing simple glasses in the rooms.
Pros: The breakfast was great, very diverse and tasty.
Cons: The location was not very good, due to the distance from the city center. Also, it was very unconfortable the mistake made by the receptionist who gave us a key from an occupied room.

It is comfortable and conveniently close to the motorway around Bologna but is well away from any traffic in a quiet park. There are two restaurants. We decided to splash out on the gastronomic restaurant and were not disappointed. It was expensive but the food and wine were excellent and the waiters were very attentive and friendly.
