Pros: If you you are looking for the real taste of Tuscany here you can find it. Friendly stuff, very good foods and amazing Tuscan landscape rigth from the window of your apartment. Romantic dinner on the terasse with the background of sunset behind the hills of San Giminano is an unforgettable memory. Beautiful small wineyards all around that are accessable by ebike as well (ask Pedro at the reception!). San Giminango itself is also very impressive, but millions of a tourist attractions are reachable with half an hour drive. One time we will come back for sure. Thanks Pedro for the hospitality.

Pros: Just absolutely fantastic. The hard work that Pedro & Diego have put in really shows. We came on our honeymoon and it was quite literally perfect. Food great, service wonderful, rooms clean and neat, facilities top class, decor sympathetic and tasteful. Brilliant. Don’t take my word for it. Book and find out for yourself!
Cons: Nothing. If there was one single addition I would suggest, it would be a couple of hammocks. First world problems...
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely rooms and fantastic pool area. Gorgeous terrace for dinners and excellent fresh food.
Cons: Nothing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: What's not to love? Great location, wonderful pool, incredibly friendly staff, amazing views, very nice breakfast, clean & comfortable rooms with cold aircon and, as a bonus, an option for a wonderful dinner on location... easy walk to the room after tasting several wines!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved this wonderful place! It exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was superb, the staff were excellent, and Pedro and Diego were charming hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The location is breathtaking, with stunning views across olive groves to San Gimignano. The swimming pool is a good size, and there are plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. This is a traditional farmhouse style, Agriturismo, so don’t expect hotel glitz. But, if you’re looking for the real taste of Tuscany, this is the ideal place. We can’t praise it highly enough.
Cons: Although there is a bedroom specifically for disabled guests, the grounds are a little challenging for anyone with walking difficulties. The property is on top of a hill, so expect slopes and gravel paths. We just about managed, thanks to our hosts and their helpful staff. A few small changes would make it a little easier to get around. Pedro and Diego were open to suggestions and have promised to instal a handrail on the stairs in reception. We’re definitely returning in the near future, regardless.

Pros: These guys thought of every detail. What a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful. The entire staff made us feel very welcome.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This place exceeded our expectations! To summit up I hope we have the opportunity to go back! The food and service was friendly and exceptional!
Cons: There was nothing to dislike.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This place is absolutely perfect. It is immaculate. It’s small enough to have a very high level of service. You can go for walks through the vineyards. The evening meal is not only exceptional value, but also divine. You will not want to eat out. The setting is perfect. The staff and owners can’t do enough to help. If your looking for this type of farm house accommodation. Look know further.
Cons: I would have liked a local beer on draft. The bottled beers served were excellent.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was magical. Very quiet, on the side of the hill looking out to the horizon with San Gimignano in the background. The staff were exceptional. Genuine. The evening meals were some of the most enjoyable we have ever had.
Cons: nothing comes to mind
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, we had four perfect days in the paradise of Diego and Pedro. Thanks for having such perfect honeymoon!
Cons: Nothing to declare ☺

Pros: Breakfast was amazing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Loved that this hotel is in a little village several kilometres from the busy town of San Gimignano, which although beautiful was very touristy. This hotel felt like a haven. Large clean room with great views. A little outside terrace was lovely to sit in. The owner of the hotel was welcoming and friendly. Delicious breakfast with bread and cake cooked by the family.
Cons: The room’s air conditioning seemed to struggle with the particularly hot weather
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hospitality was pleasant and welcoming. The building has been renovated and there are ancient elements that give a good and respectable atmosphere. The rooms are beautiful and the view from the window is simply amazing. Breakfast was very nice and special. We enjoyed the stay very much.
Cons: nothing
7,9 Good
Pros: The owner was very kind to prepare a special diner for our bike group
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A ‘Little Gem’ in Tuscany. I can’t say enough good things about our recent visit to this hotel. From the moment we arrived, Elio, the very sociable manager, was so helpful. He even unloaded our luggage from the car into our room and continued to insure we had the very best possible experience during one night stay. Our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished in a simple Tuscan style, the bed was comfortable and the shower supplied plenty of hot water at a good pressure. In short, if your looking for accommodation in this area, look no further. Hotel Vecchio Asilo provides good friendly accommodation at an affordable price.

Pros: Everything was wonderful! Perfect place with a breathtaking view! Delicious home made breakfast.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: I like it cozy and clean. From the window we found the beautiful landscape of tuscany. The host was super friendly. We had dinner in the hotel and the homemade dishes were very good.
Cons: Nothing particular. The decor of the room was very traditional but you can expect that from the hotel's pictures.;)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: What an amazing experience! The hotel was a beautiful, comfortable, historic small building with amazing views of the fields around the area. It's family owned, and the owners are very helpful and accommodating. Elio is a great host, from the moment we arrived until our departure he help answering questions, guiding us with insights of the areas, he prepares your breakfast and even takes care of dinner if you ask for. Additionally, we left and my wife left her bag behind by the patio, Elio called us and hold the bag until we were able to return and pick it up a couple of hours later. Thank you for an amazing time in your hotel!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Charming B&B that made you feel right at home. Centrally locates amoungst multiple wineries and a short 10 minute drive to many eating options in San Gimignano. The staff prepared an excellent breakfast which included some of the most delicious homemade breads. Highly recommended for a trip to Tuscany!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: General feeling - feels like home. The property was really clean, the breakfast was nice, location is terrific - right in the center of Tuscany. But most important - the host is super friendly, has great recommendations, and is really helpful.

Pros: Everything was on the maximum. Luca, Heidi and the whole staff are very kind and elegantly proffesional. The place is charming, the food and the well-selected wines were incredible. We really enjoyed our time there and look forward to come back.

Pros: Very convenient place. The staff was very kind and the accomodations nice. Very good breakfast!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic view on the Tuscany hills. Very nice garden with swimming pool (open since halfway spring) Very helpful and nice owner Heidi, we could also use the light and sunny breakfast room for relaxing during the day. Amazingly restored (very modern inside) old watermill. Great place to just relax, walk, or use as base for visiting sienna, san gimignano or florance
Cons: Bed is a bit small and hard.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: just beautiful. location, facilities, staff. our best experience in Italy.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the room, the pool, the food but above all the staff were wonderfull! They made us feel right at home and very welcome. They were friendly, warm and made us smile.
Cons: I could not reasonably think of anything that could be better.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast. Great host. Very clean room. Strong wifi connection
7,5 Good
Pros: This hotel for us was more of a place to stay rather than the Tuscan experience we were hoping to have. The grounds and property are beautiful and the room comfortable but it lacks service. The main area/restaurant and hotel reception were closed with lights off at 6pm. There was no way of sitting in the common areas, ordering dinner or a glass of wine as there was no staff and doors locked. There is also no mini bar in your room so any drink or food has to be purchased off site with no refrigerator to keep it in. All chairs and lounge chairs were stowed with no place to sit and enjoy the garden or the outside until the second day when 2 tables were brought out. We understood it it low season but I believe it you are paying for a service one should be provided at any time of the year. Even though the hotel is beautiful I do believe there must be properties that are just as beautiful that provide more than a bed and a place to stay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect stay at Mollino Di foci, a gem in Tuscany. Heidi and the staff are so helpful. The food is amazing and it’s a perfect place to relax but within close proximity to lots of lovely places to visit. Would highly recommend.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Quiet but easily reached location, beautiful garden and breakfast area, comfortable room.
Cons: bathroom had no gutter and I always made a mess that wouldn't go away

Pros: Breakfast was exceptionally good - the combination of the sweeping views out towards the town and the locality of the thoughtfully prepared food made for an excellent breakfast affair.
Cons: Ignore previous people's comments about it being a convenient walk to the town from the b and b. It is do-able, but not advisable in hot weather and you need to be careful of the traffic which gets busy on the main roads. Maybe there is another route but we weren't aware of this.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing view on the towers of San Gimignano. Perfect Location.
Cons: Very friendly staff, good food, perfect place to stay in middle of Tuscany.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We couldn’t have asked for anything better! The view, the staff, the food, the rooms, the pool! Our stay at Podere Sant’Elena made our Tuscany trip unforgettable! Shout out to the staff who were extremely accommodating and helpful- best recommendations! We’re definitely coming back!
Cons: Absolutely nothing. We loved it!!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful B&B located amongst the vines and the olive trees over looking San Gimignano. Barbara owns a local bakery and as a result, breakfast was incredible, possibly the most amazing chocolate croissant I’ve ever had. A lovely stay indeed.
Cons: It would be lovely if they served food in the evenings so we didn’t have to leave!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: What a beautiful place Podere Sant'Elena is and very peaceful. The breakfast was amazing. The view from our room was spectacular. What really made the holiday was the friendliness of Barbara and all her team. They went out of their way to help us, gave us advice on places to visit, restaurants to go to eat and even made reservations for us. It truly was a relaxing holiday. Grazie. We will definitely being going to stay again.

Pros: Wonderful position, lovely staff, great restaurant
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: What can we say? This place is perfect, it’s situated five minutes out from San Gimignano (beautiful tuscan town) it served as a great base to explore from. Our room (1) looked out onto endless Tuscan hills, the courtyard and pool. Each morning we were warmly greeted despite often arriving late to breakfast (we blame it on the super comfortable bed) The family run restaurant Zafferano was fantastic, we ate there three times throughout the week and couldn’t fault one course. Incredibly clean, extremely friendly and a faultless experience, We can’t wait to return. Thank you everyone at Casanova de Pescille
Cons: Perhaps the hairdryer could have been more powerful or take your own.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and warm , perfect to relax in Tuscany . Wonderful food , ate here for 5 nights . Lovely family run establishment , can’t wait to return.
Cons: Leaving !!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: 1. The restaurant serves excellent food. 2. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpfull. 3. The atmosphere that the place breathes is very calming and relaxed. 4. The clean pool.
Cons: The airconditioning in the room didn't actually achieve the temperature that we desired (probably because we left the room for the bigger part of the day and then electricity stops immediately).
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location and authentic experience. Food was Delicious!
Cons: Bed was a little stiff.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful grounds, super cute rooms and the restaurant on site was some of the best food I’ve had in all of Italy.
Cons: The ac unit didn’t work so well, as in we sweat every night even with it on.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent food. Lovely scenery, friendly staff.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was absolutely perfect, food was beyond outstanding and it being a family run establishment the staff could not have been anymore welcoming and friendly. I reluctantly am submitting my review because I would like to keep this perfect gem all to myself. BRAVO!
Cons: Not a thing could be better!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: What a great find this place was. First Agriturismo we stayed in and quite honestly preferred it to the five star hotel we stayed in the previous nights. The restaurant is absolutely superb, the chef produces exquisite food, served by the ladies in the family with a smile. Loved it. Special mention for the honesty bar that works really well and the estate’s own Tuscan wine was great value and very good. Swimming pooled worked a treat.
Cons: Nothing other than the cat would not play with me!

Pros: Very nice location and staff. Dinner (1 per week) was great!

Pros: Spacious grounds with glorious views over to Sam Gimignano old town. Our room was large and very comfortable. Our host Barbara was so helpful which made our stay more pleasant.
Cons: Disappointed there was no hot tub as the weather was too cool to use the pool.
7,5 Good
Pros: The space around the appartment was very big. The swimming pool was excellent.
Cons: We always only select appartments in Italy including airconditioning. It was very disappointing at arrival that, although on booking.com it was indicated as being an appartment with airco, there was no airconditioning present.

Pros: Great location and beautiful grounds within a vinyard
Cons: The 'family' accomodation did not have an adequate kitchen or living area, despite what was advertised

Pros: Apartment was perfect. The view was amazing. Loved being so close to San Gimignano. Location was perfect. Enjoyed our breakfast each morning. Family that owns the B&B was very friendly.
Cons: WIFI signal was weak. We only had about 2 hours total of WIFI during our 2 day stay. Managers were helpful, but I think the problem was beyond what they could do.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Hosts are very kind and helpful. Try the wines from their own production for sure..
Cons: Nothing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: People who run this business are just amazing! There are no words to express how happy we were in meeting the family Logi and their staff. The place is very good, the breakfast is amazing, and I we had the best salumi of our entire trip of 15 days in Italy. Everybody should take the wine tour in their property. if you have an extra budget, consider staying in their brand new property "Locanda dei Logi". We had the chance to spend time there and it is just amazing!
Cons: It is a little bit tricky to find the property. Even putting the informed coordinates in my GPS, I got in the neighbor property. When you get in the right location, there are not enough signs to inform where you should go.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast - the homemade salami was extremely good! And the homemade olive oil is fantastic. The room is comfortable, and good wifi connection in the building. We had a very good time staying there - and we also left with several bottles of olive oil.
Cons: the small path to Il Colombaio Di Santa Chiara is a bit steep. power up and you can get there!

Pros: The staff were helpful and knowledgeable and the breakfast was delicious and the room and terrace outstanding!
Cons: Nothing!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved every little bit of our visit to Il Colombaio, Mario and Franca were the most beautiful hosts, breakfast each morning was perfection, fresh eggs, home made treats and fresh coffee, homemade salami made by Mario. Our room was spotless and picturesque for sunrises and sunsets. The dirt track walk into San Gimingnano was a most enjoyable 20 minutes or a quick drive. I must not forget the best wine tour ever which included a winery tour and tastings.

Pros: Beautiful property located close to city of San Gimignano (about a 25 min walk or a 5 min shuttle ride). The staff was very accommodating, the breakfast was fantastic, and the pools were perfect. Everything was very clean. The restaurant is great for dinner - definitely the best in the area. I highly recommend staying here!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was a little oasis near San Gimignano - the photos online really don’t do it justice. It is a beautiful place to get away and chill with a relaxing atmosphere that suited anyone wanting to have some peace and quiet and still enjoy the sun, swimming, scenery and food that Tuscany has to offer. The hotel is a 30 minute walk down a country road to San Gimignano (with lovely views along the way) so you can choose to relax by the pool and enjoy the bar/snacks service or venture into town. They also provided a regular free shuttle if you didn’t feel like walking. One tip - it’s a slightly uphill walk all the way to San Gimignano and therefore downhill back - so maybe factor that in!! The staff were lovely and happy to help always. The Resturant that is part of the hotel has amazing food - some of the best we have eaten in Italy - and a lovely view from the terrace. It’s nice when you find hotels like this.
Cons: It’s was great. Their is nothing worth writing here as it would just be being fussy.

Cons: Would have loved for our rooms to be next to my kids..the location could be much better..the hotel felt very commercial.

Pros: One of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in. Very good and varied breakfast taken outside on a lovely patio area, also in the evening the family restaurant making great traditional seasonal food. The swimming pool is a real bonus as not many hotels in this area have one. We felt having moved on we should have booked for longer and used this hotel as our base to see Tuscany.

Pros: Very nice room with amazing view of San Gimingnano, hills and garden.
6,7 Good
Pros: The property has a pool which was great for us during the month of July...we used it when we came home from a hot day out! The rooms all had little terraces outside with table and chairs and this was good too since we could read or play cards outside together. The rooms had air conditioning which was great as it kept them cool very well. When we needed a coffee during the day ..the staff were happy to make us one and we took it to our rooms which we were happy to do. We had some fantastic meals very close to where we were staying!
Cons: We stayed in a triple room (My mother was travelling with my husband and myself). The room was not really set up well for three people to stay in comfortably....The big extra bed was too big for the space and there was no lamp or any night lights to use. My husband uses a Sleep machine at night and he had it on the floor as his side had no bedside unit. We were travelling with our friends and I had booked this property more than 6 months earlier... I was not very happy that they were put the other side of the property from us. Since the booking was one...I would have expected to be roomed next door to each other. It was OK but I felt disappointed about this.

Pros: Very helpful straff, Lisa you're the best! Very central location in San Gimignano
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The beds are comfortable and the rooms get completely dark at night. Even if it’s super central they are also very well insulated from noise. One of the best night sleep I have had!
Cons: The shower panel was broken and despite knowing of the problem they didn’t tell us. We had to find out. That created a bit of discomfort. Otherwise perfect stay!

Pros: It was great being in the citi center! It is considered the medieval Manhattan because of the different size towers. it is bustling with great restaurants, shops and views to walk to. The wine prices are good here. Check out the model scale of the city on Via Berginano 23.

Pros: One of the best hotels we have stayed at. Excellent service, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Friendly staff always willing to help. So peaceful and relaxing with the added bonus of beautiful grounds to soak up the Tuscan sun.
Cons: Some evening meals not as hot as they could have been.
7,1 Good
Pros: Beautiful location, good food, clean rooms. Very friendly staff and spoke English.
Cons: Pool crowded with screaming splashing kids, no pool guard to correct the kids for not jumping and screaming and splashing others, as the parents did not care. Hard to relax around the pool. Bathroom at pool area dirty. Small rooms at least very clean.

Pros: The location, the surroundings and the people. All.were magnificent.
Cons: Nothing
4,6 Okay
Pros: I only liked the historical center of San Gimignano which is minutes away by car.
Cons: There is absolutely nothing to do in this hotel! Just a pool where you can swim and chill IN SILENCE. Not even a sound, people literally whisper here! During dinner you can enjoy the silence too :) no music, no talking nothing

Pros: We stayed here as part of our Tuscan honeymoon and we loved every second. The setting was spectacular as was the food at the beautiful restaurant situated on the terrace. Perfectly located for a trip to San Gimignano - be sure to use the free shuttle bus to save lots of hassle with parking! We will be back one day.

Pros: The property was very charming and their Saturday bbq was a wonderful dinner and the complimentary breakfast was delicious with many options.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Grounds were lovely, pool fantastic and great family atmosphere. Staff very friendly, food fantastic, great location. Highly recommend, ideal for families particularly.
Cons: Bed could have been more comfy, was quite hard.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is in the middle between olive trees and vineyards. It is a lovely and amazing place. I enjoyed a morning run to the archaeological site nearby and strolled through the grape-wine. Afterwards a full day in the park like garden on the free seats and lying facilities all over and it could not be better. Breakfast was a good selection of everything/ very continental also and the bed was good. Ate at the restaurant two evenings since it is nice to be there to chill and it was a very proper selection of good prepared dishes. Walking to San Gimignano - yes I did that back and forth, but you need to really love walking in 28 degree upwards and I recommend to take some water on the little tour (about 4-5 km only, but breeding warm)
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place to stay, very clean with a great pool area and lovely grounds to relax in after our big days exploring Tuscany. Onsite restaurant - great food in a gorgeous outdoor courtyard setting. Staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful with suggestions on places to visit and eat. Definitely recommend this property. Bellissimo!

Pros: This was a really gem of a hotel. We stayed as part of a larger trip around Italy where we stayed in around 12 different hotels and B&Bs and this was probably the best surprise of them all. Gorgeous grounds, our room led straight out onto the lawn and the pool. The staff were friendly and helpful and it was a short drive to San Gim. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Pros: We had a great time at the Fattoria San Donato. Federica and Umberto are always very thoughtful and provide a nice family atmosphere to this lovely place. The breakfast was excellent and the dinner delicious. Ideally located near San Gimignano, which is a must do. Really perfect for a few days enjoying the local food and wine as well as discovering a few Tuscany villages nearby.

Pros: Perfect
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Our stay here was charming. We got to experience a small family run winery and farm. The grounds are lovely and the communal family style dinner was great as we got to meet others from around the world over beautiful home cooked food and wine. I’m not sure if they do that type of dinner every night but we enjoyed it for our one night. I wish we had a little more time to stay there.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location, authentic Tuscan feel. Lovely owners and staff
Cons: No air conditioning, could not open windows due to lizards
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing farm stay about 4km from San Gim. Absolutely beautiful and rustic buildings, comfortable and clean rooms, stunning countryside with plenty of opportunities to try local wine and produce. Wouldn’t recommend if you don’t have a car as it’s an hour walk into town and does limit you in getting around. But if you just want to stay in the immediate area and relax like we did, it’s perfect! There’s also a lovely pool and sun beds. The staff were so lovely and offered us lifts to help us get around. The dinner was outstanding home cooked Italian food, and the breakfast was also divine. The perfect countryside getaway.
Cons: No aircon which wasn’t too bad for us as it’s late August, but might be an issue in the peak of summer.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: What a peaceful place. Loved chatting with the family who runs the Fattoria while they gave us a complimentary wine tasting and tour of their wine cellar. This is very much a relaxed and family run place, not a standard hotel situation, which we loved. Would have loved to try their dinner, but the family was sending their daughter off to college the next day so it was understandable that they were preoccupied. Quick less than 10 minute drive to San Gimignano where we ended up having dinner. The linens were of nice quality and the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was fantastic with espresso and eggs cooked to order, and we loved meeting all of the animal friends that wander the place (two dogs, several cats, goats, and a donkey).

Pros: Everything...location, dinner, pool, room, very friendly employees.
Cons: Lack of swimming pool towels...the only negative detail I could find
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Tranquil property in the most amazing place. San Gimignano is only a short drive away. Everything was perfect.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: I loved the surrounding. Everyday the views where different because of the sky changing. Great for photography. I enjoyed the swimming pool as well the pssibility to walk to San Gimignano. The kitchen and house white wine where delicious. Only 8 eur per bottle. Free Coffe at the reception was also kind from the property.
Cons: There was nothing what we would not like. We would just suggest to add warm breakfast into the menu.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was really great. A good variety of fruit, sliced meats, cheese and breads. The pool was a hit with the grandson and a nice place to relax after a day of touring. Enjoyed my morning cappuccino.
Cons: It was farther out from San Gimignano than I had expected. The gravel road to the property was very rough. One of our rooms had a leak from the air conditioner and the cot my grandson had got wet. The staff that was on at the time was not very accommodating about getting dry bed sheets (said we would have to wait until the next morning so that was a little disappointing.
7,5 Good
Pros: Beautiful property. Absolutely loved the little Tuscan house we stayed in and the pool was fabulous. The breakfast was really good and the staff were very friendly and helpful
Cons: They have pre set air conditioning (they take the buttons out of the controller so you can’t turn it down) And the air con broke our first night - middle of summer in 30 + degrees wasn’t ideal! The on site restaurant serves dinner too which is a beautiful spot to dine but the food could be better.
7,5 Good
Cons: very slippery floor in room
8,8 Excellent
Pros: the facilities, swimmg pools, rooms, location fabulous... restaurant isvery good, but a little too poche..
Cons: The retaurant menu did not include pizza's (or other easy food) for the kids.. hence we decided to go out for dinner most days. Also the rooms are very neat.. but contained nothing (cutlery, glasses, bottle opener) so thy gave a plastic cup to drink wine..
7,9 Good
Pros: All of the staff were extremely friendly, fun, and very helpful. The on-site restaurant was very good food and very reasonably priced and a nice perk for days when you just didn't want to have to leave the property to go eat. The free breakfast was good enough with plenty of options.
Cons: The biggest issue we had was the additional bed in the triple room was extremely uncomfortable. We did not bring this up with the property though as there did not appear to be any other options. Accessing the property is difficult - the gravel road is a single lane and in very, very bad shape. Our rental car wheel rim was damaged by the condition of the road. I didn't care as we had full coverage but something to watch out for. A re-grading of this access road is way over-due. Parking is difficult/not available when occupancy is at full capacity. The air conditioning does not work well when temperatures are very hot (and note this is not stated on the website but some information is provided in small fine print after booking in the accompanying email when they say "air conditioning is not guaranteed"). The Icelandic horses on property are neat for small kids or inexperienced riders. But if you're really interested in a good adventure with full size horses I would suggest booking a private ride at any one of the many ranches in the surrounding area. The vespa scooters that are for rent really don't seem to make sense - as stated on their website, the gravel road is very dangerous for the scooters and the surrounding roads also appear not to be very scooter-friendly.

Pros: It was beautiful we loved everything

Pros: This hotel was excellent - we loved the location, the staff and the facilities. It is close to San Gimigniagno and so central for a Tuscan dream. The only downside is that the two single beds pushed together arent the best and were very soft and the room is pretty basic, but we would definitely come back as we loved our stay here
Cons: The beds werent amazing and the room decor isnt amazing

Pros: Loved the location, the view from the breakfast room/dining room is absolutely magnificent. Great internet and the staff were top class
Cons: Unfortunately when we booked the Hotel was nearly full so we got two of our 4 rooms with city view and they were noisy because they face the street which is nearly always busy

Pros: Everything else
Cons: Lack of reasonably priced lunchtime facilities

Pros: Great Location
Cons: Would have preferred to use restaurant more but the menu was the same for the entire stay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location close to San Gimignano, but slightly more than walking distance in the summer heat. Nice pool and surrounding area. Good facilities for the price
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The room was very nice a good size. Just a drive into San Gimignano. Lovely location
Cons: The wifi in the room was non existant. Very annoying we couldnt email anybody. We had 3 devices and none would work..... Also we had 1 beer from the room fridge . It said the price 3 euros. When we paid the bill we got charged 8 euros. I find this shocking. Very upset. There was nothing in the room to say we would be paying an extra 5 euros.. I queried it and was told the extra 5 euros was the tax.... Disgusting.... We were told on reception about the restaurant hours but when we went to book there was a wedding party booked so the restaurant was closed on the night we stayed. Reception had no idea.... We were told by the people setting up the wedding there was a buffet in the Spa but I'm afraid we did not want to have a meal there...
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location is a 10 minute drive to the public parking for San Gimigano, breakfast was ok with plenty of choice. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Cons: No separate bar area as all part of the restaurant which seemed very dull with no character. Hotel seems to be setup for weddings and business, no privacy on the room balcony or control of room air conditioning, shuttle advertised and parked up but not available on request.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: nice quiet pool, quite a walk into town but very safe to do so and a good selection of restaurants when you get there. We had a junior suite for our family of 4 which they added a second bed for the children which were great and still plenty of room.
3,3 Mediocre
Cons: Internet didn’t work at all. Rooms standard isn’t worth 4 stars. Staff wasn’t helpful.
7,1 Good
Cons: The city was a bit far on foot, in the evening it was only possible to walk by the road. None of the rooms overlook San Giminano, it is not worth renting a more expensive room. The cleaning is impeccable, the breakfast is unanimous.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Dear Relais Cappuccina Team, thanks for reminding me to give you a rating if I intend to make it a positive review. I’m sorry that I’ll be reviewing although it’s not a good one. What I really liked was the area and the surroundings. Beautiful. Especially the hotel premises are a gem. Parking is convenient. However....
Cons: Breakfast had a really bad standard. I don’t mean the choice. The quality and presentation were disgusting. Old, damaged fruit. Yoghurt that is lying around all morning (with only some Ice underneath as a cooling layer). Just an automatic coffee machine; not what you expect in Italy for this room rate! The staff at the breakfast did the best they can. They were very nice. You could tell that the staff at the counter was kind of disappointed with their jobs. They were polite, yet not very proactive and on the day that we left, they didn’t even ask us if we liked it. Within the hotel, the floor on the aisles is dirty and wet. Our room was very dirty when we arrived but I didn’t want to make a scene. A lot of hair everywhere. The toilet had yellow stains although there was a tab saying it was disinfected. Not true. Details such as handles, switches, lamps, towel holders, the telephone and the hairdryer weren’t cleaned in a very long time. I might be a little sensitive, but I thought it was inappropriate. It felt like there’s a lot of dust in the AC, so I had allergies from day one. The balcony was nice. I asked the staff to provide a sunshade to actually be able to use it, but they don’t have any. To sum it up: Would not return. Great premises but not maintained in an adequate way for a 4* hotel.
9,7 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location One of the only hotels with parking Only 4 min from the beach -- walking
Cons: It was great
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Food, people and cleanliness
Cons: Long walk to town and no taxis or shuttle bus

Pros: Beautiful hotel in perfect setting. Friendly helpful staff
Cons: Classic room on the small size
7,9 Good
Pros: Nice pool area, nice breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. Overall a good hotel with great location to visit San Gimignano. Parking is very useful and was great.
Cons: We were a bit disappointed by our economic room. We were not asking for a palace room, but for a 4* hotel our room was very small and barely had any light since we almost didn’t have any windows. The A/C worked alright, but the WiFi was terrible. And since we were in a room with no windows we had no internet at all in the room. The hotel is nice, but I would avoid the lowest rate rooms. And all in all, I think it was too expensive for what we had.
