Pros:We loved the decor, which included extensive hand cut pine in rooms and the main hall, as well as some fun nature murals. It reminded us off what a more rural inn was like 30-50 years ago when we were young. As 5th generation Coloradoans, we would far rather stay at this place than a sterile, "perfect", overdeveloped chain. We especially enjoyed fishing stories from the owner!
Cons:As a somewhat handicapped person, I found getting in and out of the main doors, because of how the airlock is designed, was tough. The room was pretty good, bed quite comfortable, but the chair and ottoman impossible to use. This was important because for medical reasons there are times when I need to sleep sitting with my feet elevated.

Pros:I liked the rustic, lodge like feel of the place. It's decor was a great fit for the Rocky Mountains.
Cons:When we went to check in, the gentleman at the front desk literally made me feel sorry for taking up his time to check us in... I felt like an intruder! We walked in & waited for a while for anyone to attend to us. No big deal. However, once he did come out, I stated that we'd like to check in. He rolled his eyes when I told him that I had just made reservations online. He looked us up in the computer. Then someone called on the phone. He rolled his eyes again, let out a large gasp, and proceeded to sound rude to whomever was calling before walking into the backroom behind the lobby. He then came back and apologized for his behavior. He informed us that he's trying to relax and people keep interrupting his relaxation time.... Ummm... Hello?? Don't you want people coming to your business?? Don't you like making money?? I felt so uncomfortable that I almost told him that he could refund our money and we'd find somewhere else so that we aren't "intruding" into his relaxation time. However, it was late and we had spent most of the day driving.... So we stayed. What a horrible employee to represent your company. :( I surely won't be staying there again. Every thing else was fine with regards to the room. Wasn't the cleanest but the price wasn't bad.

Pros:Our 2nd stay. Great helpful owners and neat rustic lobby. Rooms are all very clean.
Cons:My back is a bit sensitive so the beds just don't work for me. Hope they look into investing in fresh beds with some firmness.

Pros:Rustic look fits well with mountain atmosphere. Several bronzed cougars and bears located around property with a pine staircase railing and various scenic paintings throughout the lobby. Owners were very nice and helpful. Breakfast included cereals, breads and bagels, hard boiled eggs, fruit and yogurt.

Pros:The beds were soft and comfortable. The tv's were nice. There was a fridge and microwave in the room. Walking distance from restaurants. They have free breakfast which is pretty minimal but free coffee and bagels is still good enough. The staff was nice enough to let me plug my car in and charge it for the night.
Cons:The hot tub smelled odd and the water level was low. I own a tub so I notice these things. I went over a holiday weekend and the price was about 3x what it should have cost. Supply vs demand but it still sucks to over pay for a basic room. Wi-Fi password didn't work, there were other options but the signal was weak.

Pros:Cleanliness
Cons:outside door by our roon had no lock. No sound insulation between rooms and large bus group made a lot of noise in lobby in evening
