Pros: If you like privacy and feeling of home, then the Alberti B&B is the perfect place to stay. Especially, if you have two couples, then both can get their own room and entire floor is yours. And B&B means bed and bikes, which gives you excellent possibility to use a new and well kept bikes for free of charge. Also I should give my respect to hosts, who are ready to help you as much as you need and appreciate your privacy at the same time.

Pros: *) Very nice hosts! :D Right after our arrival they gave us a map of Rotterdam and marked all their favourite food places on it, some including recommendations about the best dishes to order there. *) We very much enjoyed going around by bicycle in Rotterdam and appreciated the bikes being included in the room price already. The bicycle lanes are all well maintained and most of them physically separated from the car streets. We stayed 10 days and during that time took the bikes on tours with a total of around 120km. *) Our room had a window to a very quiet back street with hardly any cars, so it was very silent in the room at night. *) Wonderfully soft beds and hot water.

Pros: Location - close to the central station.
Cons: Room 209 has not been heated despite it was chill. The staff couldn't tell how to get to exhibition center AHOY. Breakfast very basic, almost poor.
6,0 Good
Pros: Very spacious room and bathroom
Cons: My room hasn’t been refurbished for quite a few years. It didn’t feel very cozy. There was only 1 central light, no other lamp was working. Also, majority of the sockets missed frames. With a little investment this could really be a nice room.
6,0 Good
Pros: Big room, huge and comfy bed (which me and my boyfriend had a chance to enjoy for 3 nights) and good location - around half an hour walk to get to the centre. Good choice for breakfast (if you manage to come down before everything is taken by others).
Cons: Arrival to the hotel was a bit surprising and awkward. The receptionist informed us that if we do not want to park our car on the street we have to pay additionally for a place in a garage 5 min walk from the hotel. Then we were told that smoking is strictly prohibited in the premises. Then the only two questions we were asked were: 1) to fill in the check-in form, 2) to tell if we smoke. That was all the conversation. I do not consider it as a warm welcome. The first night cups were missing in our room so we asked for them at reception. The same lady got really surprised by this question, checked her list, made a face and finally gave us those cups without saying anything. Generally most of the staff showed lack of interest in actual work - sometimes it would be easy to mistake them for guests. They were focused on reminding the rules (like giving the keys to the garage back) instead of showing some hospitality. Only one person was truly nice.

Pros: Bed uncomfortable
Cons: Calling by phone while the people wait
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: The location is not within the centre but has good connections to Rotterdam Central Station and the main sites (Markthal and Cube Houses etc ...)
Cons: For a single room it was just about enough in terms of size but the walls were dirty. The room also had a balcony but it was filthy with cigarette butts and empty beer cans despite the place being non-smoking. There was also a lot of noise in the corridors which made it difficult to rest / sleep in - a lot of banging of doors and staff speaking loudly between themselves ...
7,7 Good
Pros: Very clean nice rooms, cosy space for breakfast, recommended generally. Very simple but good breakfast.
Cons: You should be aware of Russian speaking lady at the reception who will ask you to pay something that was already prepaid during booking... very unpleasant situation when you are handled a copy of your reservation which included your name but a booking company that you never contacted and never knew. And in this booking it is mentioned that something is not prepaid - in our case it was city tax which was fully prepaid at a time of reservation via booking.com. A copy of reservation from booking that lady did not wanted to see......
Poor sound proof, and bad mattresses - two instead of one king and they were not somehow connected to each other... by midnight you happen to be fully in between two mattresses......
