Everything about this booking was phenomenal from the booking to the staff to the checkout. The location was amazing. I can go on and on about this property in a positive manner.
Cosy room, super bed, very clean and silent. Private Dinner was delicious and is recommendable!
Unfortunately the lift wasn’t working when we arrived at the property, 6th floor .... but everything else was very good
Stunning views from the upstairs terrace cafe & from our room with a balcony. Elegantly decorated. Warm hospitality. The most wonderful shower - and a very cozy bed. A perfect, very short, Roman holiday.
The male Bangladeshi property manager was very strange, seeming suspicious of us and borderline accusatory as we were leaving & made us feel very uncomfortable. Our room was already paid for, we were perfect guests, and had cleared our single extra charge of the private chef services with the chef himself the night before, who said it could be added to the card we booked with. Fantastic! I got an urgent business call from my office the next morning and wasn't sure if I'd be able to continue my stay in Rome for that final evening, so we packed our heavy bags into the car while I awaited confirmation. This manager stopped me at my car on the street and said the housekeepers notified him we were leaving & asked me several times why, which already offended me. Then I had to pay on the spot for the private chef service - which is no problem, but this manager made it seem like I hadn't paid on purpose and it was supposed to be a company-paid trip using a company card only, which is why I had personally asked the chef if it could be added to our total booking and we signed a receipt for our confirmation of that. As I paid upstairs with no complaints, I was again asked about why we were leaving early, what I did for work, why my manager booked it for me.. like a business trip is something strange - and personally, I found it all a total invasion of my privacy. I left stunned over this treatment chalking it up to a weird experience, and it was one of the most wonderful stays we've had in Italia!
