Pros (+) St. Peter's Square down the avenue; lovely courtyard; all the staff was customer friendly; excellent recommendations for dinner; air conditioning was functioning in April, 2016. Room was very clean & non smoking in the hotel. Bar/cafe had decent prices on wine & lighter food items & wait staff was terrific.
Cons (-) Rooms are very small; bathroom smaller than cruise ship with bifold doors on the shower. Breakfast was 730a; if your tour is earlier, you are out of luck & must go out to eat. Would have been nice to have coffee available in the lobby. 4 star class is a stretch if you book room with 2 twin beds.
