The staff was friendly and efficient. For a modestly priced hotel in Rome, the rooms were always clean and the staff was always responsive. The location was excellent--about three long blocks from the train station, and walking distance to central Rome. After staying at Hotel Centro for a week and then spending another week in Venice, we returned to the hotel and discovered that the staff had kindly upgraded our room to one with a balcony for our final night in Italy. Oh, the air conditioning is exellent! Great price, great location, clean, nice rooms, and a good breakfast every morning--I highly recommend the hotel.
