Pros: Everything in this place was excellent! Location - 10min walk from trainstation, right at the seaside. Breakfast was superb with a mix of english-Italian offers and they will make you your coffee of choice - there is also options for vegetarians/vegans with soy yogurt, fruits, hummus & tofu! The staff is amazing and super friendly. I liked the feeling of a small hotel were they know their every customer. Rooms were clean, comfy with really good AC. Me and my small chihuahua had an amazing experience and this was a perfect get-away from the city. Big bonus for being such a pet friendly hotel!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good, but the best part is the restaurant right next door and the location across from the promenade.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff
Cons: Nothing to add
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We received the personal touch of the owners, who could not be nicer. You walk out the door and you quickly access incredible restaurants, shops, the sea, and much more. We loved getting our nightcaps from the bar. The breakfast is very nice, and the servers are wonderful.
Cons: Parking can be a challenge. It is well worth it to pay the extra $15 a day to park immediately in front of the hotel.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location, cleanness, staff
Cons: Room is small and window from balcony goes on the neighborhood building.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I chose this property purely for the location as we wanted to visit Portofino and the Cinque Terre. We were very pleasantly surprised to find that Rapallo itself was a lovely little town and the hotel just superb. The staff were fantastic - we were met by Alessandro who couldn’t have been more helpful. He gave us loads of information about the area and how to get about. I would recommend the Hotel Astoria - it was a wonderful stay.
Cons: Nothing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was amazing! Helpful with every need and went over and above to assist.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location excellent a little pricy as it has no spa or facilities. Breakfast was first class and staff very helpful
Cons: Restricted parking no pool or massage services
9,6 Excellent
Pros: great staff, advised on and booked restaurants for us.

Pros: The breakfast was excellent! and the location too!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel at the entrance of Rapallo, quite expensive but convenient and with 5-star breakfast
Cons: The price
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Central location, air condition worked well sky8 bar was excellent view at night breakfast on the deck was large very nice each morning with heaps variety, staff very friendly.
Cons: The best western sent an email to pre-book activity on arrival- we booked a massage as we were looking forward to utilising the in hotel spa - it stayed booked pay at hotel. We arrived and asked they did not know about email being sent from best western and advised the spa was closed for duration of our stay - if we wanted they could tell us where to find some local places offsite. We also booked a boat hire for $200€ when we arrived we where told no boat hires as it’s subject to weather anyway and that if you wanted a boat would cost a lot more, come back tomorrow and will see them. The sky8 bar was expensive but very nicely set out. The housekeeper moved our bag from the couch and put it up on a small cubboard - weird- the noise outside at night is really loud from nearby karaoke and restaurants bring earplugs if your a light sleeper because I am not.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 pre-teenagers) and stayed at the hotel in Rapallo in August 2019. Amazing location!! The room was spacious and super clean. Went to the Skybar for a drink where the view was just unbelievable. The personel of the hotel was so nice and polite. We had a fantastic stay in Rapallo.
Cons: The master bed matress was stiff and the pillows are quite stiff as well.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Probably the best small hotel we have stayed at in Italy. Without doubt the best staff. Extremely well situated, clean and with first class breakfast. Would definitely return.
7,5 Good
Pros: The breakfast was very good The location was great too The cleaning was good
Cons: The parking was not so confortable The rate was high for the kind of hotel The room was not so confortable
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel was great, as it is by the water and within walking distance of many restaurants, bars and gelaterias. The rooftop deck also offers beautiful views of the water, the coast and the town below. We received an upgrade to a room with a small balcony and partial view of the water, both of which were nice to have.
Cons: Our room had pretty thin walls, so we could hear everything going on upstairs and around our room. Not so much noise to the point where it was disruptive to our stay but at the same time, it is probably dependent on who is staying in the other rooms. Also, when we checked in, the front desk staff tried to get us to pay EUR50 for an upgrade and threw in free breakfasts and free parking (normally EUR12 across the street for 24h), but were baffled when we didn't want an upgrade (we ended up skipping breakfast and parking for free on the street a few blocks away). Most likely, the upgraded room that was proposed to us for an extra EUR50 was the only one available. Typically when a hotel is in this situation, the upgrade is provided at no cost to the guest, so it was strange to have it presented as a promo we needed to pay for.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is very central to Rapallo and just a short drive away from the E80 motorway. This hotel is also only 15 mins away from Portofino by car. You can also get a boat to Portofino and other locations from the Ferry jetty just outside the hotel. The hotel 'Sky Bar' is worth a visit. It offers fabulous views over the harbour and beach area. With regards to parking - when you first arrive at the hotel they have an 'arrivals bay' just outside the hotel - you can simply park here and unload and then the staff park your car for you in the car park opposite. The hotel has an arrangement with the car park opposite. You can park for 24 hours for 12 euros per day. You can come and go as much as you like for this. The room we had was comfortable but we had an internal view - unfortunately, the building behind is a bit run-down so the view is not great. We were offered an upgrade to a room with a balcony and a sea view on check-in - but because we were only stopping one night and were not spending much time in the room we declined. We were offered this upgrade for 60 Euros. (this also included breakfast). The rooms were of a good size. The bathroom was very spacious and the shower was excellent. Very clean, good sized TV. We had a kettle in the room and a fridge too. The shower was great. The breakfast was a great surprise. The selection was fantastic. The pastries are fresh and baked on-site each day. The staff also brought around smoothies and croissants as soon as they were made. Very good selection of hot and cold food, very tasty cakes, fresh fruit, meats and cheese plus smoked salmon! If you are looking for a central hotel with an excellent breakfast you should stay here. Portofino is expensive - but you have to expect that. As well as getting a boat or a bus to Portofino you can also drive - but please note the parking is limited and expensive.
Cons: Internal view is not much to look at.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: From the initial greeting from the desk staff the stay at this hotel was superb. The rooftop bar was simply unbelievable as was the location right next to the harbour. Amazing and I would highly recommend this hotel.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Nice breakfest with delicious coffee and professional staff service.

5,8 Okay
Pros: A very friendly and helpful welcome from the owners.
Cons: A bedroom that was hot and noisy. Without air conditioning on a hot summers night the one simple fan was unable to keep the sleepers cool. With the windows open to help cool the room, traffic noise from a nearby street made sleeping difficult.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location - easy to find and near to the train station, nice short walk to the sea front. Family run so very friendly and welcoming. Everywhere was clean, bathroom was only across the hallway and was for our use only. Would definitely visit again and would recommend to anybody. Thank you Alessandra!

Cons: Air-condition would be nice.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: We had some lovely days staying in B&B Casa Florinda. Ale and Angelo was so helpful and even picked us up at the train station. They served a nice breakfast at their terrace. The shower was also amazing and we had a cozy room. We couldn't have been any more satisfied with our stay.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Location was good, 10 min to the center by walking. Host was helpfull.
Cons: There was a creek just front of the room so inside was full of flies, they should give a protector for the guests or disinfestation every night. Breakfast not good.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The casa belongs to a family, each of one is a very pleasant and kind person. It was a great experience to meet you. Thanks a lot. Especially for your parking skills and great dinner advice!
Cons: The room was rather small. People with sensitive ears might feel a bit uncomfortable due to neighbors.

Pros: Nice and friendly owners, the room was ok, the location was also ok, so good value for money
Cons: The bathroom was separated from our room

Pros: Great view and location! Stayed a night as part of our honeymoon and they really looked after us.
6,7 Good
Cons: rwstaurant a rip off
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The best part is the amazing view of the Liguria. Breakfast on the balcony and relaxing by the pool. The new spa is beautiful, I can’t wait for my next visit!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The ambiance
9,2 Excellent
Cons: Very Slow and capped WIFI 15 Eur Paid Parking per day No Ironing boards
6,3 Good
Pros: nice spa area for 24 euro per day per person. well-kept facility, except for the room and balcony. we could access our room 2 hours earlier.
Cons: *welcome at the desk felt chill: the receptionist approached me several times in french which is, as i told her, not my preferred language, because she spoke to two other people at the same time. *check out was annoying: the shower was full of black mold. we did not mention this until check out because we only stayed for two nights. our remark at check out day was impertinently answered with 'you should have said it right away'. that is kind of true, but paying 350 euro per night in a 4 star hotel, there should not be any mold at all. *our room was badly sound proofed: we could hear some american guests shout at each other and slamming doors until 1 am. *the quality of breakfast was not what we expected of a 4 star establishment: there is a rich choice, but the quality is partially horrible (scrambled eggs and sausages). *the free wifi is simply useless due to its slow bandwidth. useful wifi is charged extra. *room and balcony were worn down.
6,7 Good
Pros: View, size of the pool, room, breakfast and reception staff
Cons: Location, not enough shuttles for the nearby town (I am pregnant and I had to walk every day 3km to the closest town and back), pool staff, loud music in the pool bar that people complained all the time about , food and drink selection ( limited breakfast, choice of few dishes for lunch, no nearby restaurants so you simply have to eat what is there even though you don’t like the food), not great value for money really
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The best part was the excellent restaurant and the view from it. I would really stay there again. It is really a lovely hotel.
Cons: For some reason Kayak system did not recognize that I did the reservation for 2 adults and a 7 years old child, so when I got at the hotel wasn't aware of the child. Therefore the rate was different and they had to fix the room at the last minute.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location and pool
Cons: Not so great service and extra payments for almost everthing such as scrumbled eggs at breakfast
7,9 Good
Pros: Nice place to stay on the beautiful Ligurian coast. Excellent restaurant on the 6th floor whith beautiful dishes and staff and amazing sea view. Truly recommend
Cons: Poor breakfast but nothing else

Hotel Approdo - Rapallo - Building

8,8 Excellent (510 reviews)

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Approdo in Rapallo, you'll be next to a golf course, within a 15-minute drive of San Fruttuoso Abbey and Castello di Punta Pagana. Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: I really liked the staff. They have been really helpful and they gave us lot of tips about the area.
7,5 Good
Pros: Helpful staff, clean room, good aircond, good bed and balcony
Cons: Bad billow and tiny shower room
7,1 Good
Pros: The hotel was simple and felt modern and nice and really near to two good villages/towns. Additionally, it was a 5 minute walk to the beach and to some lovely cafes. The view from the hotel was excellent. The breakfast was included and was nice. The staff were very friendly and welcoming which we appreciated.
Cons: This hotel was expensive given its simplicity. For example, there was no iron, safe or tea making facilities in the bedroom. There were no ironing facilities at the hotel at all (apparently this is stated on the website but it’s not the first thing you look for!) additionally I feel it’s the little things let this place down. While toiletries were provided they were all plastic packaging. Given it’s a hotel near the sea this isn’t what you’d expect nowadays. While the terrace of the room was nice there were no seat covers and only hard plastic chairs to sit on. We had some Problems with noise on our first night and requested to change room but we did have to pay extra (the room had a better view as it was higher up) - that was a pity. Nonetheless we did enjoy our stay and would recommend this hotel.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful. They are providing practical recommendations against your questions which makes you feel more comfortable when taking a tour in rapallo , santa margherita ligure or portofino. The room is covered with automically operating window blind which enables you to sleep well in the morning by blocking the sunlight. The location is also reasonable that you can go rapallo and santa margherita ligure by walking (but you should catch up a bus in order to visit portofino)
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great location next to Santa Margherita (just 5-minute walk in between nice hotels and villas). We went there often to take buses to Portofino and Camogli. 2-minute walk to the beach of San Michele Di Pagana which is very nice and you can rent boats there! They gave us a much better room than what we reserved, with a huge balcony with great views, chaise-longues and umbrella. We were so lucky! Good breakfast too
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel room sea view was beautiful. Staff were friendly and only a short walk from restaurants and the beach.
7,1 Good
Pros: The location was good if one wanted to visit Santa Margharita or Rapallo but if you wanted to go to Portofino, one should first take a bus to Santa Margharita and from there take another bus for going to Porofino which usually takes more than an hour journey. So a little inconvenient journey for going to Portofino which was our main purpose for this trip. But the staff were very nice and pleasant to talk to and breakfast was very good too.
Cons: The room was very small and there was no slipper, kettle or fridge in the room.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Second time there and it’s still great : The rooms are big very clean, paint looks fresh : they are not looking chic or else but they are very confortable The balcony over the amazing view is definitely a ++++++ The staff is amazing thank you ladies for making us feeling so welcome ! Breakfast is nice, would miss green tea and fresh juices
Cons: Maybe a better insonorisation when you have noisy neighbors or people playing with doors at night
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff. The room was very clean. Nice view from the window to the sea. Numerous beaches within walking distance. One of the evenings I coud even enjoy from my balcony an open air public violin concert, taking part in front of the nearby church. One can easily reach by foot the center of Rapallo (half an hour) or Santa Margherita (15 min).
Cons: The street in front of the hotel is quite busy, one can hear the traffic from the balcony even though the street is not visible due to the plants.
6,3 Good
Pros: Good location if you don’t have a room on the road.
Cons: Don’t rely on the parking indication. There are actually very few parking spots and our request wasn’t met. You are left with parking in the street as the only option.

Gervasius and Protasius. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and an elevator (lift). Free self parking is available onsite.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This top notch cliff edge hotel is probably one of the best accomodations I have visited in a real while! Thank you for giving us room 208! Such an amazing view of the Ligurian landscape. Location is just a short drive from the charming Rapallo (20mins), high end Santa Margherita Ligure (27mins) and picturesque Portofino (40mins). Word of advice: Type in "San Maurizio di Monti" on gps to make sure you're going up the right way of the mountain. Then proceed to the "Sanctuary of our lady of Montallegro" (which is around 7mins more). GPS signal might be poor up there but after arriving to San Maurizio di Monti keep on going straight and lookout for a very sharp right turn with the sign of Montallegro. You will eventually arrive at a dead end little square where there is the cable car. Park and always walk up ;)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: amazing views.. old touches.. very frinedly staff.. amazing atmospher and food
7,5 Good
Pros: Nice food, comfortable room
Cons: The weather spoiled everything- could not see a thing because of the fog
10,0 Excellent
Pros: All the staff are fantastic, warm and welcoming. The location for our dinner had an amazing view and the food was delicious. Yes the rooms are a little dated in style but very clean. The parking is along side of the road leading to the church which the Albergo is on the left before you reach the church...which is stunning inside. We would definitely eturn here again!
Cons: It is indeed a little precarious getting to the location but so worth the views and tranquillity once you arrive. If you intend to take the funicular down to Rapallo be aware of the timings which are closed from 12:40 till 14::00 and run on the half hour.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wow! You are surrounded by brilliant nature (we even saw a deer one day!) still with high-standard service there. Welcoming and polite staff. Clean and nice rooms - simple interior which does not disturb from the view from the window... Not mentioning the view from the terrace where we had breakfast..)) It was really nice that the mountain gave us rescue from the August heat at the seaside. It was so nice to come back after a day at the seaside and feel the cooling breeze! We are thankful for the stay!

Pros: Location is far from Downtown area keep that in mind! It is absolutely worth to stay since there is cable car that takes you to town in 8 minutes. The views are breathtaking from the hotel, staff really welcoming and food is good.
Cons: The rooms are not equipped with A/C.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast excellent, location a bit out of the way, but fantastic views made the journey wothwhile

Pros: Stylish. Friendly staff, private parking for our motorbike, excellent location
4,6 Okay
Pros: Location and breakfast
Cons: Very small and simple room, outdated and old, should have been renovated at least 20 years ago. The ceiling lights must have been bought in 1978 or something. Bathroom looked really ugly and extremely small, we couldn’t actually sit normally on the WC, we had to keep our legs on a side because not enough place.

Pros: location & view fromroom
Cons: bathroom size, breakfast
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, great location, private beach right below, excellent breakfast, patio on the 2nd floor.
Cons: The room could be a bit more modern/better decorated...
7,5 Good
Pros: Breakfast excellent. Good choices : Fresh orange juice, eggs, pastries, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, cheese and meats. Lovely breakfast room overlooking the sea towards Porto fino. Will stay in my memory that view for a while! If you are an early bird that’s great as it’s open early but if like us you like a lie in it’s replenished and available until 10.30. Believe you can also have room service breakfast in your room on your balcony!
Cons: I think all basis have been covered at this lovely hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I may say, that Hotel Italia e Lido Rapallo exceeded my expectations :) I liked a lot, how convenient everything in the hotel was organized. Location is perfect, only 500m from the train/bus station. It is highly recommended to book a room with sea view - it is breathtaking. Hotel has a small private beach which costs 10 euros/day. On the beach you can enjoy clear water and also order snacks/drinks from the bar. Staff was very friendly and helpful, may thanks to Luciana for perfect communication. You can also go to Portofino or Cinque Terre by ferry (it stops just 50 m from the hotel). I would be glad to return to this hotel the next summer!!! :)
Cons: Everything was excellent :)
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful Terrace and view
Cons: When we checked in in there was a lack of instruction about how to find our room.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location was great - sea view absolutely INCREDIBLE, probably the best we ever had in the Mediterranean region. Breakfast fair, but OK. We decided to try once the hotel dinner (to accept or reject the half-board option) and stack to our initially selected breakfast-only alternative, trying thereafter new restaurants of all sorts. Staff very nice, friendly and helpful. Central location, one step away from the central street (nicely lively walking area closed for traffic on weekends); all the restaurants, main walking "oxford street", maritime pier with boat transport to S. Marguerite, Portofino, Fruttuoso, etc. - within very close reach. Area not noisy and nights were quiet. Overall, it was fantastic! We returned absolutely happy with the trip)).
Cons: Please fit wardrobes with PROPER HANGERS. They cost cheap!!! and provide them in lavish numbers!!! Breakfast - please add more various cheeses - and a properly cooling display please - otherwise slices stick together and "tear". Room refrigerators should be tuned for a proper lower temperature - our did not cool water sufficiently. Aircon obviously delivers only generally distributed temperature? fine tuning seems to be not available (i.e. you press the "down" button, and it says "19 deg C", but it's obviously still 20+, and sometimes it becomes a little bit warmer then desired during the night; please address. But still, these are minor issues, i.e. all the above did NOT impact our overall satisfaction, comfort and pleasure. It's simply a room for improvement!))))

Pros: very good, nice city, we like to come again very good place and very surprising positiv want to come again
Cons: the fried eeg at the breakfast was very expensiv
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location was very good
Cons: In the restaurant they charge for bread that you don’t want or eat. It would be good if you were firstly asked would you like bread. I refused bread and they took it away but we were charged for bread. They should not assume everyone wants bread. No wonder everyone is overweight. Also you order a meal but say meat or such and that’s it no vegetables or such. Very strange indeed.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very helpful, and the location was great. Breakfast was very good and the bar right around the corner was great
Cons: Washroom was really small, if I wasn't a skinny person, I don't know how you could fit in the shower stall in my room.
6,7 Good
Pros: Location of the hotel was excellent with easy access to the sea front and town. The cleanliness was generally fine. The young man who checked us in was very friendly, but on other occasions some staff members did not match his friendliness.
Cons: The hotel felt 'tired', and at times we had a feeling of staff doing the minimum needed, rather than being genuinely hospitable and interested in creating a great customer experience. The servicing of the room seemed cursory (it would be done in the short period while we were down for breakfast) so it was really only tidied rather than cleaned. The shower in our room was tiny and old, and the shower doors would not close properly. The carpets on the landing looked like they had been there for decades, and the hotel smelt constantly of carpet cleaner as the cleaning staff did their best to make it look and smell clean. Put more generally, this had the feel of a place that was past its best, and would need significant investment to bring it up to today's standards. With it's fantastic location, I would strongly encourage the owners to do so.

Cons: The young man with dark rimmed glasses that worked the front desk in the afternoon was not very friendly. The key to our room was heavy and bulky. I believe it is so that you will leave it at the hotel when you leave for the day.

Pros: The hotel is great. This is the second time we've stayed there. Rooms very clean. Great location. Friendly staff.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Rapallo took me by surprise. We had only one night here but would definitely return. The hotel is in an excellent position giving easy access to the old city, restaurants, churches, and the waterfront. The breakfast was excellent. Given that it was so close to the town we were able to come and go from the hotel rather than having to find somewhere to rest in between. This meant that we were able to join in the Italian tradition of a siesta and then to head into town for dinner and a walk along the waterfront. We were luckily there for the red-carpet festival which meant we saw rather more people than usual out dining and checking out the Ferrari's on display in the street. Loved this place and the staff at the hotel could not have been more helpful.
Cons: All good!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location Friendly staff and willing to help Clean and quiet
Cons: Shower space is too small. When I washed my body, I could not lift or move my body freely.

6,3 Good
Cons: Expensive for what it was... bathroom looked like was from the 1990
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in an excellent location. It is near the sea, the old part of town and the train and bus stations. The room was a good size and had everything we needed including a safe, hairdryer and a fridge (the quietest I have experienced in a hotel room). The décor was somewhat dated but that didn't worry us and it appeared that other rooms were being decorated. Towels and bedding was changed frequently and toiletries were replenished. The beds were extremely comfortable, although we were sometimes hot at night and couldn't open the window because of the noise of the trains and church bells, which may be a problem in hotter weather. Efficient double glazing kept out the noise when the windows were shut. The staff were polite and helpful without being intrusive. They all spoke adequate English and the front desk staff went out of their way to help when we couldn't check in our flights on line. We ate in the restaurant twice and were very happy with the quality, quantity and price of the food. The breakfast buffet suited us. No hot food was served at breakfast while we were there but boiled eggs, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, pastries, bread/toast and cold cuts were available. Also fresh juices, teas and coffee. The dining room was light and pleasant set with fresh linen and good glassware and cutlery. We thought that the hotel was very reasonably priced.
Cons: There is nothing that we really disliked about the hotel. Because of it's central situation the area is quite noisy but there was air conditioning available. From one of the photos we had seen on line we had expected the garden to be bigger.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and clean room. Excellent breakfast and a great hotel in the surprisingly nice town Rapallo.

7,5 Good
Pros: Great location. Bang in the centre. Very good air conditioning.
Cons: Tired decor, old carpets. Noisy outside with a disco until 1am each night. Hotel seems to have many elderly ladies resident. Nobody told us about breakfast times. Nobody told us how to connect to WiFi.
7,5 Good
Pros: Enjoyed all the food. A definitely re-visitable hotel.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The location is great, the receptionist I forgot her name but she was very nice and helpful, the breakfast is good the pastries are fresh and delicious! rapallo is very nice town full with energy, may be it’s not as fancy as Portofino or big as Santa Margherita but it was fun to stay in!
Cons: The room was small because we were four in the room but still for the location it worth it. There is only one private beach with sand, and the ferry does not depart From rapallo we have to go Santa Margherita by bus or train which was no big problem.
7,9 Good
Pros: Beautiful place by the sea, breakfast was good but expected more.
Cons: Bathroom too small
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Compact but comfortable room with a good shower. Lovely friendly staff who went the extra mile to help with any queries. Perfect location in the lovely town of Rapallo. I would definitely return. (At the time of our visit July 19 the Rapallo jetty for the ferry to Santa Margherita, Portofino and San Fruttuosa was being rebuilt after storms last year so you need to take the bus to S Margherita to join it there ) Recommend the cable car from near the railway station to Montallegro for stunning views along the coast and a lovely lunch with a view at the Hotel Montallegro
Cons: The toaster!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location on the seafront
Cons: Nothing
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Our room had balcony and a wonderful view of the Waterfront. Both the room and the bathroom seemed renovated fairly recently. Both were smallish but OK. The hotel has a good bar/snack area in the evening with good service. You can't beat the location. Right in the middle of the waterfront strip. Rapallo is a beautiful, fun town but not as crowded as the Cinqueterra villages.
Cons: We didn't go to the restaurant. Didn't see many customers there and it is very expensive compared to others nearby.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Classic Italian riviera hotel with a wonderful lift! Excellent location, great staff and good breakfast. Air con good (essential). Easy short walk from the station.
Cons: My room’s sea view reminded me of the old Fawlty Towers sketch - could only be seen (sideways) from the balcony. But then very lovely!! Noisy late evenings.
7,9 Good
Pros: The view from the room was best :) room with balcony with the view on the port and sea was a good choice. Rooms are renovated, great bathroom, good restaurant
6,7 Good
Pros: Location is very good, close to many shops, restaurants, view from the balcony was amazing. Every day clean room, clean towels. Good breakfast. The staff was always ready to help, to explain. Thank you very much to all of them.
Cons: Wifi didn’t work in the 4th floor. We had to go down to have internet.

Pros: A great hotel with incredibly friendly staff who seem genuinely interested in their guests. They arranged a boat tour for us and were so patient with our questions about the area. Our room had a lovely balcony and there was plenty of room for our large suitcases. The breakfast was great and the rooftop deck was wonderful in the evenings. The grocery store nearby was great for supplies and there are many cafes on the waterfront.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good 3 star Hotel with comfortable room and decent bath. It is located about a 5 minute walk from the promenade with easy access to the beaches, restaurants, shops etc. Adequate breakfast served by a very cheery lady. What made it special for us were the lovely staff. I left one of our bags on the train and the 2 ladies at Reception tried so hard to find it for us, ringing up every official department that hhey could think of. They were also full of information on how to get to places and about Italy in general.
Cons: Our air conditioning unit was a bit over enthusiastic!
6,7 Good
Pros: The location
Cons: The parking. Our car got damaged in the car park. They give out your keys for others to move it!

Pros: Location and easy access to the room.
Cons: Room was a bit compact.

Pros: The location is great, close to the center but far enough to don't get noises. Typical Italian breakfast that can be eaten on the table outside. Comfortable bed.
Cons: I will suggest to replace the spigot cause the sink is big but with that loaction of the spigot make it kind of useless. The only negative point is that the parking (in front of the hotel) is 25Eur per day... not really cheap!
