Excellent
Spacious room for the two of us. We loved the balcony (and the great view of the mountains and lake that we had). It was also nice to have a washer/dryer in the room since we were vacationing for a couple of weeks. Short walk into town, and yet far enough away that it was quiet. Bed was comfy, shower water was always hot. Room service was good.
There were 2 separate rooms inside 1 "outside" door and sometimes visitors for the room next to us would ring our doorbell instead of theirs because they didnt realize that there were 2 doorbells (1 on each side of the door). It woke us up a few times. Maybe better indication of the doorbell situation would be good for future guests.

Good Hotel With Great Location
The location was awesome due to it being so close to the central area where you can eat and enjoy walks.
The housekeeper should have put away ironing board in our room. The laundry room was unkept and there needs to be ventilation so that on cold days the heat from the drier won't turn the very tiny laundry room into a sauna with the four walls sweating with condensation. There was so much it was like rain the room.

Suites for 2 couples
Scenic Suites was great for us as we were 2 couples and had the 2 bedroom suite. This is nicely organised as 2 private units which are interconnecting. The use of a well set up kitchen on one unit was useful. They are clean and reasonably close to the centre. The staff are helpful and friendly. Overall a nice place and I would stay again.
After a day wandering the town it is a bit of a climb up to the units, but this allows the overall view to be had. The internal design / architecture of the hallways and ability to access the reception is a bit convoluted, but these are just minor niggles.

Very comfortable and pleasant
The rooms are very attractively furnished and very comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Nice views of the mountains. I enjoyed being here.
So I am a little lazy and didn't relish the walk up the hill from the town center. And late night party people walking back along the main drag could be easily heard.

It's all about the view!
Nice complex, easy check-in/check-out. We asked for a room with a lake view and got one but it had two double beds, a king was not available. Not the most comfortable sleep regardless of if we had a king or not….matresses need an upgrade. The view made up for it. We had a car and they do have underground parking for their guests with easy in and out access but best to park the car and just hoof it around town. Be warned that this hotel is up a steep hill so if you do go into town by foot expect a bit of a climb on your return. Bathroom was clean with great water pressure and plenty of hot water.
The buffet breakfast was over rated for the price, they charge you extra if you want a specialty drink. Go into town and get a big breakfast at any number of the fine establishments there. All in all, if it wasn’t for the view I would say it was an average stay.
