Wonderful view from the suite on 4th floor. Great swimming pool with salty water. Private beach with a nice terrace bar, very convenient to reach from the hotel. The dinners were really nice and served by very nice waiters.
The deco is a bit outdated. Breakfast could be better, with more variety. The location is really great, but it doesn’t support such high room rates, clearly overpriced.
Beach location Surrounding gardens
More remote than we thought. Really need a car . Nearest town Pula 30min bus ride but not a lot there. Hotel dated even our updated room was rather basic - no safe, no tea making facilities, wifi very poor etc Expensive to use beach facilities, beach towels had to be paid for also. No parasol s around pool. No facilities for snacks etc. Comprehensive breakfast but quality not that good. Staff were generally friendly and helpful although one young guy at the beach bar was somewhat miserable and abrupt !
Very clean room and hotel with a stunning view from the balcony. The staff were all extremely nice, friendly and very helpful with things to do, places to go and how to get there. The pool was really nice, although salt water may not be for some. It was cleaned each night which was nice to see! The restaurant was lovely, nice breakfast with various food to suit all. The meal in the evening was also lovely and had lots of beautiful wine to choose from.
Not loads to do around the area if you’re in foot. We hired a scooter but a car would be ideal as Pula was pretty quiet with not much to do. Chia had the best beaches and nice restaurants but a car would be perfect to venture to different places.
Super location, beautiful Beach , friendly service,
Nice and clean and friendly staff.
No entertainment, pay for everything you eat and drink when you check out.Not able to remember what food and drink you are actually billed for, have to take their word for it as it’s not an itemised bill so you don’t know what you’re paying for. (5th floor) Awoken every morning about 5:30am by a constant motor sound that lasts for 3 seconds but comes on at least if not more than once every minute for about an hour or so and continually throughout the day if you happen to come back to your room through out the day. I don’t know if it was the staff in the basement sending stuff up and down the lift to the first floor to get ready for breakfast for the guests or some heating element that heats the water in the hotel. I just couldn’t figure it out but it was very very annoying. We asked to be relocated to another room (from the 3rd floor)as the room we were allocated originally was too small for a couple, the walls and doors must be paper thin as you could hear every footstep in the hallway outside your room at all hours of the day and night, babies crying continuously in rooms across the hallway seemed to go on for an eternity.the double bed was too small for comfort. I think this room was actually a single room as there was only one chair at a small table on the balcony and no space for two people and the bed too small. We were allocated another room on the fifth floor a couple of days later which was satisfactory even though I did ask for a sea view room and was allocated a room overlooking the car park. It wasn’t all bad as there was a good view of the mountains but no sea view. The pool area could do with some umbrellas at the sun beds as the little shields on top of the sun lounger are not satisfactory at blocking out unwanted sun when it gets too hot. On a plus side you will never find the pool area packed for this reason ( no umbrellas) I would imagine as you would be burned alive in the direct sunlight.
