Located right against the stunning waters of the Caribbean, the Gloria Palace Amadores Thalasso Hotel is a luxurious destination for the discerning traveler. The hotel occupies a cliff that looks out over the sea. Amadores Beach is within walking distance, as are Puerto Rico Beach and Cura Beach. The Playa de Balito is within reach, as is Morgan Port. Tauro is just 6.5 miles from the hotel and the Puerto Rico Marina can be reached in minutes by car.

This expansive resort offers 392 guest rooms, all of which are nonsmoking. Guests can choose from double rooms with a sea view, double Thalasso Experience rooms, and Thalasso Experience suites. All guestrooms come with a terrace, phone, hairdryer, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, minibar, and private bath with a standup shower.

On property, guests will find enough amenities that they may never need to leave. These include a full-service luxury spa, a piano bar, poolside bar and rooftop bar, a restaurant, a rooftop terrace, tennis courts, a spacious outdoor and indoor swimming pools, and access to the beach. There is a full business center on offer, and babysitting service is available, too. Note that the spa offers over 7,000 square meters of space dedicated to seawater health treatments. There are plenty of dining options on property, but guests will be able to reach 23 restaurants in under a half-mile. These include the Vivaldi Restaurante Italiano, Taj Palace III, Rhodos Palace, and Pizzicato.

Pros (+) Arcitecture is interesting, large rooms with comfortable beds. Pools were great! Did not use spa, but it looked good too. Lots of choices for breakfast, food was average. Not a brand new hotel any more but not run down. Activities throught the day for all ages. I think I would have loved the kids area if I still was one.
Cons (-) This is an amazing hotel for the discounted price. Not sure the value is there if you would be paying the full price of 400 euros/night.
