Basic breakfast spread. Pretty good dinner. Bad pillows. Decent location. Nice but not very helpful staff. Overpriced.
Pros (+) Amazing jungle setting - you literally have to walk through the jungle from the lobby/restaurant/pool building to your room. Amazing food in the restaurant (blew away expectations). Convenient (although not the most punctual) shuttle to the national park.
Cons (-) Pillows on bed smelled like mildew. Tough with humidity but would've hoped for a clean smelling bed.
Pros (+) Rooms were truly built into the jungle. Hotel desk and restaraunt staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Meals at the hotel restaraunt were fantastic; beautifully prepared and wonderful flavor. The free breakfast was fine, but not great.
Cons (-) Hotel airconditioner froze up almost every night, spitting out water onto the floor and table. Although the staff worked on it the next day, the same problem reoccurred. It left everything in my room, including clean clothes, damp and musty. While the rooms were well cleaned, they were showing heavy signs of use and needed to be updated.
