Pros: This was an exremely pleasant place.Much appreciated was the friendliness of the family and staff who looked after all of the guests. It is rare to find this. The teŕrace where wé ate was very convivial, and the garden a real haven from the street bustle.I would strongly suggest trying the home cooked meals .They were great. All just perfect.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location. Quiet. Clean. Size.
Cons: Cleaning service at least ones.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay here was perfect in every way- we had a lovely little studio apartment in the garden which was very comfortable. The family were just the nicest, very helpful and kind people who went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The garden is very beautiful- full of fruit and vegetables and lovely places to sit. Very close to town center. If you stay you should eat dinner at the hotel because the food (cooked by the family) was better than any restaurant we went to on our holiday. Will definitely go back!
Cons: There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like, Everything was so lovely!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely family run Hotel, the friendliness and helpfulness of the two sisters who run the hotel and their staff was exceptional. Upon arrival we were offered a selection of rooms as the Hotel was not full due to us holidaying in late September. There was a good breakfast every morning and the evening meals were excellent and great value: Good Italian home cooking with seasonal local produce, fish from the harbour, fruit & veg often from the hotel's garden (looked after by their Father). We would stay again in an instant.
Cons: The climb from the Harbour up the hill to the hotel if you don't have a car, however if you're fit no problem, if not there are plenty of taxis and the hotel is on several local bus routes. Other than that, for the money our stay cost, we could not have wished for better.

Pros: We had a really wonderful time spending three nights in the Matarese hotel! Hospitality which Marianna and her family provided is exceptional! We were warmly met, Marianna showed us the area, places to visit (including discounts) and very good restraunts. The room was spacious, bright and very clean. There you have everything you need for the vacation. There's a beautiful garden where pomengrades, lemons and even kiwis grow. Breakfasts were really good and served in the open area near the garden. The beach is 7 minutes on foot from the hotel. There are plenty restraunts and shops in walking distance. Also, there's a harbour which takes you to Naples and other directions. Marianna even gave us a ride to the harbour, which was very nice :) One evening we stayed for the dinner in the hotel and it was one of the best dinners of the trip, served with a home wine made by Marianna's father. Overall, that's a lovely place to stay and we should've stayed there for more days! Thank you! Спасибо!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Marianna and her wonderful family run this hotel with love and buckets of energy. Marianna is always there to help to make your stay trouble-free from pick up at the port to dinner reservations. She evens seems to read your mind ,in our case, by providing a fridge in our room ! Breakfasts are delicious with lots of choices on offer- boiled eggs, croissants, ham, salamis, cheeses, yoghurt and home made tarts which are difficult to resist. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Everything is fantastic.Thank you Marianna
Cons: LEAVING.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It is very rare to come across such a lovely family run hotel. Every member of the family was committed to make our stay perfect. We stayed in a cottage annex within the small vineyard with wonderful views of the sea. We have travelled many places but this was by far the best in respect of commitment to their customers. The hotel is in small village on a hill, not far to walk to the port.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Marianna and her family were excellent hosts. The small family run hotel is quiet, clean and nd being able to sit in their beautiful garden was bliss. I unfortunately was suffering with health issues and Marianna and her family did their very best to make sure I was looked after. Home cooked beautiful food was highlighted at breakfast and dinner.
Cons: My health meant i wasn't able to enjoy the location as much as I would have liked
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Mariana - the host was really lovely and helpful. She provided us with lots of tips and recommendations for Ischia. The property itself was nice and clean with yummy pastries and cakes for breakfast. Would recommend!

Located on the island of Ischia, Posidonia Residence offers classic-style apartments with air conditioning. Guests can enjoy a sun terrace overlooking the sea. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Apartments at Residence Posidonia feature a seating area, TV and kitchenette with a stove. The private bathroom includes a hairdryer and free toiletries. The property is located 800 metres from a public beach, while Ischia Harbour, where guests can catch ferries to Naples, is a 10-minute walk away.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great and quiet location. Beautiful clean and spacious flat. We couldn’t have asked for more. Loved the roof terrace and the view over Porto Ischia.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location was back from the main town, (about 5 min walk) so you need to be reasonably fit to walk up narrow road as most taxis won't fit. Apartment was roomy and view was great from the balcony. Staff were very helpful. Photos from the Castello and sunrise from the balcony of our apartment.
Cons: Weather was very hot which made pulling bags up the hill on arrival an effort, so opt for a small taxi which will be able to fit the narrow road.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and kind staff, great view. We got quite good offer of service including upgrade.
Cons: Having little more amenities and items in the kitchen (detergent, spices) would make it perfect. We did not mind but the last 50m up-hill might be a concern for some of guests.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel and great location, will come back
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This apartment was quite simply the best we have stayed in, exceptionally clean, spacious , water in the fridge, free toiletries and a complimentary bottle of local wine on arrival. The warm welcome from Guiseppe and Francesco was excellent and we were greeted with glasses of cold water which was a lovely touch after the climb up the hill. They were extremely attentive hosts during our stay giving helpful advice on the best places to visit. Shout out to Paziella (on the beach most amazing gnocchi and mozzarella to die for)We were lucky to be upgraded to a sea room and the view took our breath away it was so worth the short (5 Min) climb up the hill as the view is stunning (you get used to the hill really quickly) The apartment is situated very centrally, extremely clean, free wifi and beautifully quiet with the most amazing views over Naples, Ischia Harbour, Aragonese Castle and Vesuvius - make sure you get up early to catch the sunrise and check out the roof terrace. Everything was simply perfect and they even leant us a travel plug when ours broke I could not recommend this place highly enough. Big thank you to Giuseppe and Francesco we had the most amazing visit xxx
Cons: Maybe some washing up liquid and a cloth so we could clean up after ourselves
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The property was big and updated. The shower is very small and could be bigger but the bathroom is nice overall. The bedroom was big and we put a single cot in the tv room for a third guest. It was very comfortable. Location is amazing. Perfect location and close to everything.
Cons: The property is located on top of a very steep hill. If you have strollers or have trouble walking I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you have a motorbike or small car. The road is also very narrow and is hard for taxi’s to drop you off. You need to order a smaller car. If you can make it up the hill it’s a great place to be!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is wonderful, well-situated in the center of the city but in a quiet neighbourhood. Francesco and his team are professional and kind, available to our every request. The rooms are well equipped, clean and well decorated to our entire satisfaction.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice welcome, great view from the balcony, and a well stocked kitchen where we could have breakfast. Guiseppe was always happy to offer guidance and recommendations. The location was ideal for us and it was easy to get around on foot to the Port, bus terminal or beaches in the area.

Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. A ferry terminal shuttle is provided at no charge, and free self parking is available onsite.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice location and friendly staff
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful quiet property, up in the hills. Great shuttle to and from Ischia Porto each day. Nice to be collected on arrival and dropped off for departure as well. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely pool.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: I really liked the view from the rooftop. It was wonderful to have a hotel away from the city centre in a beautifully breathtaking location in a forest like atmosphere.
Cons: - the frequency of the shuttle service (apparently they couldn’t run it more often due to police order, not sure how accurate this is) - I didn’t like the fact that we need to call everytime we want a shuttle. What if I didn’t get a phone package for Italy, would the hotel cover my phone charges for each call? It wouldn’t. They need to keep this in mind, not everybody has access to the their phone while abroad. -6 euros to rent a bathrobe, come on, what a rip off. Unnecessary costs for their guests. -breakfast very limited. - most of the staff were wonderful with a few negatives. The one working at the breakfast restaurant was very rude
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything the place was amazing, a little our the centre of ischia but the offer a good shuttle service which is very helpful. The staff are out of this world, so friendly and helpful I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE 10000%
Cons: NOTHING!!!!!! All simply amazing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location and beautiful staff! Romantic honeymoon!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located on the mountainside, some distance from Ischia Port, and the rooms have an exquisite viewof the sea. The hotel provides a pick-up service to the bus station at Ischia Port, which is not that convenient to the ferry landing when one is struggling with baggage.
Cons: The location meant that one was dependent on the hotel's dining room. The prices were fairly high and, while the menu was ambitious, the execution was not always wonderful.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast buffet was excellent but so was the evening dinner which started with an impressive antipasti buffet too. After the first night, we decided it was better to eat in the hotel than go into town. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus into town and back at convenient times which was a much needed necessity. They also pick you up and drop you back to the ferry terminal so no need for taxis. What really made this hotel stand out was the universal friendliness of the staff who couldn't do enough for us; service with a smile! The cleanliness of the hotel is of a high standard too.
Cons: Nothing that we could fault at all.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Much space to drink a tee and enjoy the beautiful view. Breakfast is very good, spa, massage and many other things to spend the time. Possibility to rent a car / bike which is very practical on this island.
Cons: You should always pay a supplement to rent a towel for SPA/to get a blanket / to make an omlette etc
Hotel Torre Sant'Angelo - Ischia - Bedroom
4
9,3 Excellent (761 reviews)
R2 105+
Overview Reviews
The hotel is situated on a promontory on the southern side of the island of Ischia and faces the enchanting bay and village of Sant’ Angelo. All our terraces have views onto this bay or the Bay of Sorgeto, and it is difficult to tell where sea and sky meet. The sweet scents of the wild Mediterranean vegetation, the well kept vineyards and the rhythmic song of the sea greet and enchant our guests the moment they arrive. It is this almost magical atmosphere which invites them to forget their cares and to relax. What sets us apart is the equilibrium we found between comfort and simplicity, modern conveniences and traditional charm and, most importantly, the fact that our guests tell us over and over again that they feel at home at Torre Sant’ Angelo.
7,9 Good
Cons: Construction going on Noise woke us up in the morning No sun bed covers
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic breakfast with a stunning view. A nice poolarea with tree pools. Lovely stuff. Nice and clean room, breathtaking view from the balcony. Love every minute here…..
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The bedrooms were very comfortable. The breakfasts had a good selection of hot food, pastries and the usual continental breakfast items. The pool area was relaxed and never crowded. The view from the terrace is great. The shuttle service to the nearest town was really useful, we were able to buy groceries, go to a pizzeria and get the public bus from there.
Cons: The set menu worked out quite expensive for dinner on the first night and it didn't help that the steak was rare and so the children wouldn't eat it.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Spotlessly clean place, great view from the balcony. Great food
Cons: Should be more parking spaces
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We are so glad that we chose Torre Sant'Angelo for our 4-day visit to Ischia in September. We loved: the peaceful location, setting with superb views, comfortable room with patio overlooking the sea and promontory, dining on the lovely terrace with delicious local meals and wine, thermal pool on-site and easy walk to Sorgeto hot springs in the sea. The family and staff were all very welcoming and friendly and service was top-notch. Transfer arranged from Naples to hotel made arrival and departure very easy. Great value and highly recommended!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, nice staff. Food was very good and the pool aswell.
Cons: Was a bit noisy, as the rooms are located underneath the restaurant and terrace.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything -
Cons: I have mobility problems and there is no lift. Also we booked the lift to and from the port and the van was too high for me and there was no step to help me in.

Pros: Everything has this pristine and charming flair about it. A warm staff, wonderful breakfast, idyllic rooftop pool, great service around the clock, to name a few. Definitely coming back next year!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: As mentioned previously, every thing was really good enough. That Except Dinners was not to satisfay our needs and wants. Other than that was Excellent staying at your Hotel.
Cons: Restaurants should be to the Scrach to Gust's expactation.
7,9 Good
Pros: Both pools were beatiful and the spa treatments were excellent.
Cons: Shuttle service is great apart from the fact it finishes at 8.45pm which is a little early if you want to go out for dinner.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel with amazing termal facility, far beyond island standards even one of the best in Naples region.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The building itself is pretty and the rooftop pool and spa facilities are great
Cons: The location isn’t that great but if your there for a couple of nights it’s fine. The only issue we had is the lack of restaurants nearby. We chose Cantinando which is only a 2 min walk from the hotel and it was lovely. We just struggled the other night we were there
5,4 Okay
Pros: Mixed staff. Some super helpful and nice and some arrogant and unwilling to go extra mile. The staff at the breakfast was super but at the reception arrogant.
Cons: For a five star hotel two little bottles of complimentary water - ONLY on the day of arrival. If you want more, you pay €8 per bottle. The shower is tiny, robes are old. In overall the hotel needs a face lift.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, spotless hotel, friendly staff
Cons: Location not ideal, but hotel tries hard to make up for it
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A totally wonderful holiday at this amazing hotel. This is such a hidden gem and it’s no less than a little piece of paradise. A beautiful hotel, wonderful facilities and magnificent staff. The food in the restaurants is exceptional and the breakfast is absolutely incredible. This is one of the few but wonderful occasions when a property and the team are better than expected.
Cons: Really the only minor issue was there was no kettle or coffee / tea making facilities in the room. However a kettle was provided when we asked reception. Apart from that this was an exceptional hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about our stay! The best place I have been to in Italy!

Pros: I came across a rare gem this summer in Ischia. I've been to many places but I have never received such cordial hospitality. In a pleasant environment, I felt happy and delighted, because the staff was available at any time of the day as if they only dealt with me. The restaurant and food were fantastic, and the waiters were extremely polite. I should have mentioned Leonardo for the first time, who is not only a masseur but a wonderful healer with great professional knowledge. I haven't seen such a nice and polite hotel manager like Pietro, though I've traveled enough. From the airport shuttle, he arranged everything to get to the neighbouring island, the botanical garden, the Ischia Island hike and so on. Recently, I went back for a few days, I couldn’t say more good things even if I wanted to! Fantastic! Thank you for the experience and I am looking forward to be a guest again this spring.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Employees are very friendly and ready to support you; they are careful but not intrusive. Two examples are worth mentioning: upon arrival and while showing us the property one of the restaurant waiter has quietly warned the host that my old mom might have needed a slower pace (and the waiter did that in a fashion that none of us should have noticed his advice - I heard it just because I stopped suddently). Upon departure my wife forgot her jacket on the couch and we realized it while we were waiting for the speed boat to leave Ischia: we called the property and they managed to bring us the jacket in 5 minutes notwithstanding the rush hour. Excellent!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great service. Very clean. Loved the nearby beach. Breakfast was excellent.
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: What didn’t we like about the property? The grounds are beautifully landscaped with 3 heated pools (1 indoor, 2 outdoor). Great outdoor bar and snack menu. We got our room upgraded upon our arrival - spacious and comfortable with really soft sheets. In the evening the staff brought us waters and chocolate for our bed. Located with in walking distance to many restaurants and shops - only about a 15 minute walk to the main port. Amazing breakfast. Would love to come back !
Cons: I have nothing bad to say.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very accommodating, it’s clear the management are keen for guests to feel totally looked after and we certainly did. We were given an upgrade on arrival which was great and much appreciated. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and the couple of evening meals we had at the hotel were delicious. The pool is nice but we preferred to sunbathe on the private deck next to the sea and swim there. The spa was also fantastic - we recommend the anti stress massage!
Cons: The hotel is very charming but it’s fair to say the decor is rather outdated. The rooms are perfectly comfortable but the communal lounge areas are best described as chintzy. The clientele of the hotel was largely senior citizens so perhaps this style was deliberately to please their target market - in any case, it didn’t diminish our experience, it added a bit to the old school charm.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly service, good food, nice atmosphere.
Cons: Nothing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Since it was a 5 star hotel it was in a different league from the other properties we stay in while in Italy. Great location with easy walk to numerous restaurants. The spa facilities were excellent and the breakfast staff was fabulous and so was the breakfast. Driving on the island is not for the faint of heart so being in a hotel walking distance to restaurants and shopping is important.

Pros: Beautiful environment and nature, perfect location if you want to relax and enjoy the sea. Amazing salt water swimming pool.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Location is amazing and access to bay for swimming. Thermal springs are a bonus!
Cons: Pool service - spotty.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful resort, with gorgeous views. Staff and service were impeccable. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Cons: A lot of steps.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, excellent service. Very friendly staff that went out if their way to make us feel welcome. Salvatore and Massimo stand out most! The food was delicious for breakfast as well as dinner. The raviolis are a dish that should not be missed! The Thermal spa was relaxing and clean.
Cons: Our view was slightly obstructed, not a true ocean view. The suites were probably the only real ocean view. To make visiting the local areas easier, we suggest a shuttle to Forio and Ischia Port. A later shuttle back from Lacco Ameno would also be beneficial since everything in the evening gets started a little later. Everything could be slightly updated too. It didnt seem dirty, just a little dated.
8,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful grounds and access to beautiful cove with refreshing water Service was outstanding at pool and at restaurant Very responsive to all requests. Breakfast was very good.
Cons: Rooms were a bit cramped. Although could be considered a plus you were isolated to rest of island We did rent a car one day. Some trees should have been trimmed that blocked sea view from our room.

Pros: Breakfast is good, thermal spa amazing, beach is good
Cons: Smell out from the toilet. Must be cleaned better for sure.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: First that we liked is a very good location - 15 minutes drive from Ischia Porto and closed to sea with a private sandy beach. If the sunbathing at the sea is not your favourit thing, go to nice thermal pools - indoor and outdoor. Other healty entertaining is a good quality (though a little expensive) spa with mud therapy - we really engoyed it! And last but not least is very nice personel - very open and very helpful. And many thanks for the room upgrade on arrival - that was very nice. An advice.. if you are going to visit different places at Ischia island, rent a car at reception.

Pros: Location, thermal spa. Beach
Cons: Rooms small housekeeping minimum effort dining area clinical with no views

Pros: Great location on the beach. Thermal spa was great. Staff was very attentive. Food was with good variety and delicious. Will definitely come back.
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location on Maronti beach with restaurants in walking distance. No need to leave hotel if you don’t want to. Wonderful pool, the sea is warm and perfect for swimming, and calm enough for children. The hotel has a little pond near entrance with turtles that my children loved. Staff is helpful, some speak English to assist. While hotel was full, it never felt crowded. Mealtime was a fantastic endeavor of fresh native foods and preparations that both adults and children enjoyed immensely. Wonderful place to relax and we hope to return someday!
Cons: Nothing not to like- ischia is paradise and Hotel Parco Smeraldo Terme makes use of the green island to treat its guests to an amazing experience.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely settings, beautiful spa, clean and well kept. Food is good, would recommend doing half board so you can have dinner lunch at the restaurants on the sea or in town
Cons: The private beach area is nice but umbrellas are too close to each other which makes it a bit tight
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel Parco Smeraldo is beautiful and the staff are both friendly and professional. The location, right on Maronti Beach, is why we chose this hotel. I would highly recommend taking advantage of the spa services!
Cons: Our room rate included breakfast, which was plentiful and delicious. We had dinner at the hotel just one of the four nights of our stay. It was okay, but not nearly as good as the meals we enjoyed at the restaurants right on the beach behind the Parco Smeraldo.

Pros: La Casa sul Mare is really great. Wonderful view from the terrace to Marina Coricella and Terra Murrata, comfortable room with air-condititioning, soft towels, mini-bar, quiet area but close to restaurants and bars, nice bar where you can drink wine or aperol sprtz on the square near hotel. Really good breakfast served in the garden: coffe, fresh orange juice, jogurt, scramled egg on request, big choice of cakes, fruits. The staff is very kind.On my check-in I recived a lot of information about Procida and map in adition. Some steps from the famous view point on Marina Coricella.
Cons: Nothing
6,7 Good
Pros: Location and the traditional decor
Cons: Poor balcony furniture lack of sunshade on balcony. The bar not being open unless a request was made. With the bar being in such a great location it was a big shame this facility was not used to its potential.Unclear pricing structure.
7,5 Good
Pros: Stunning sea views near excellent restaurants. Good sized balcony. Friendly welcome at reception.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: A/C great, view gorgeous, bed comfy and firm, amazing location, samantha at reception was wonderful. Franco and Samantha carried my very heavy bags
Cons: The female owner was not very friendly or helpful, tiny!!!!!!!! garbage can could not fit anything, no Clothes drying rack!!!!???,balcony floor was not clean, lounge chairs broken, no tissues, meager breakfast, did not offer detailed info when necessary (re other beach option procedures) and I cannot believe that every time you need a clean beach towel you have to pay €2.50!!!!!!!! I would have liked the option to select a room on the main level and not 2 deep staircases below!!

Pros: Stunning location beach amazing. Good breakfast with restaurant views out to sea
Cons: Steps to climb everywhere no lifts.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very tasty and different dinners. Very calm and clean hotel. Spa is amazing
Cons: Actually room wasnot the same I booked. At least view from window was absolutely different.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff although a guest not there for a week of terme treatments like me had to figure a lot out on my own. The setting is lovely and my balcony was a great refuge in the evenings. The walk to the beach was not taxing for me but might be for others. Very nice man kept the private beach clean and orderly. The evening meal had good salads and full course dinner. It was not especially healthy food for a spa but competently prepared if somewhat catering to German palates. If I were there longer than 3 days I would probably have been able to experience the property more fully.
Cons: As a solo traveler I was initially seated at a very poor table. Luckily I found another solo traveler to have dinner with. The spa treatments I selected were good but not outstanding. The location is on the southern shore of Ischia so be prepared to pay for taxis as the buses seem very crowded for travelers with luggage. The front desk staff were very helpful arranging taxis to share.

Pros: waiting staff in restauant very smart and friendly
Cons: only 1 pillow per person on beds but given more when asled

Pros: Good choice of breakfast and couldn’t be happier with the service. All the staff are doing a wonderful job at helping to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
Cons: The hotel was a bit outdated, would need a refurbishment.

Pros: We loved the location and the view from the pool and terrace. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, we would certainly return here.
Cons: There is nothing we didn't like at all. We would have liked the pool to be cool and refreshing due to the heat of Italy in July. However, we totally understand it is a specially heated pool for health and relaxation and we know most of the guests really enjoyed their time in it. The shower at the side of the pool was refreshing enough :)

Pros: Very helpful staff / owners, always available to assist . Good location ! Great breakfast & food & drinks Lovely pool area
Cons: Shower curtain sticking to my body
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very recommend this hotel. Very good breakfast, view from terrassa, Helpfull staff, silent, pool.
Cons: Location was good, but every day 2 times climbed to hotel after beach or dinner.

Pros: The view from the pool was nice.
Cons: The hotel is really old and for sure it needs a renovation asap. Breakfast was descent and the room was too small and old and my view from my room were towels and sheets that hotel thought it was a good idea to hang them out to dry. The towels in the bathroom were really bad quality. The mini bus is so old and dirty. Water was coming out from the sink in the bathroom. I found that awful. Wifi had such a bad signal in the room. I should stay in common areas to have wifi. And the last thing I should say is about the plastic glasses they use. Really if someone wants to respect environment should not use plastic glasses during breakfast or when you order water to drink. Especially in a hotel. In general I left from the hotel really disappointed and felt that they ripped me off.

Pros: Beautiful location and hotel was everything we hoped it would be. Staff were extremely helpful. Hotel amenities were excellent. Wonderful stay at Punta Molino, we are returning later in the year.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel in great location, mid way between the port and the castle. Lovely room and bathroom very clean. Great facilities and private beach.
Cons: Poor air conditioner. I had to call reception three times as the ac was set at 26 degrees, this was ridiculous when it was 37 degrees outside! To be fair the engineer did amend twice but each time was working fully for a few hrs then poor again. To be told that the system is working too hard and it is because of the heat outside is not acceptable. This is not a cheap hotel, the ac needs updating.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, they have their own beach at the seaside for the guests only, very nice thermal pool, impressive view from the breakfast terrace, great coffe in many variation, reception is trying to manage all your issues such as ferry tickets, bus tickets, timetable checks, etc...
Cons: -
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful and provided great assistance with restaurants, island activities and transfers. The private beach was an added attraction.
Cons: Nothing
7,5 Good
Pros: We upgraded to a family suite which was wonderful (but not cheap!) The staff were excellent The pool was superb - as was the thermal jacuzzi
Cons: Before we upgraded to a suite, our room was too small for three people. The hotel is fine but needs some investment - for example bathrooms, USB ports
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a very good place- within walking distance to the shopping area and cafes
Cons: The Internet connection was not very god in the room
5,8 Okay
Pros: The location was good. Close to many restaurants. The hotel has their own beach which is probably the best thing about the hotel.
Cons: The breakfast was very ordinary. The wifi was terrible. We asked for a taxi on departure for 6am. Didn’t come (I believe is wasn’t ordered) until 6.15 . Staff kept telling me ‘no problem’ your ferry not until 6.45 . Well the ferry left early and we missy it !!
7,5 Good
Pros: The thermal baths were wonderful! Location is nearby Ischia city center and in a great bay with view on the castle. Free upgrade from garden view to a sea-view comfort room. Shuttle service from the port and back is good.
Cons: The airco heater mode doesn’t work in the room. There is no tea or coffee make facility in the room, the coffee downstairs is €4.50 which is expensive compared to the average prices. While using our hair dryer, the electricity was disconnected and the issue was solved only after a few phone calls. The shower is small, old and uncomfortable, water didnt go, plumber came to fix it. Visible dirt/ fungus in the shower rubbers down and in the air system.

Pros: Location
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The bar and restaurant staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was also great and so were the cocktails - the set menu for dinner was amazing value too! Lovely pool areas including the roof top. Lots of restaurants within walking distance which were also great. Also close enough to walk from the port - but there are a few hills!
Cons: The gym was almost non existent - we thought it would have equipment etc. There was also an odd policy that you couldn’t take your own food and drink to the room - not sure how strictly this was enforced but seemed strange.

Pros: This hotel was perfect for us! We loved to proximity to and view of the Castle, the breakfast was wonderful, the staff was personable (particularly Ago!), and our bed was comfortable with a bright clean bathroom.

Pros: Beautifully situated overlooking Casamicciola Terme, with panoramic views into the setting sun. All the family look after guests with care, courtesy and kindness.

Pros: We loved our stay at Ape Regina. The location is incredible with great views and the staff are so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. We would definitely stay again
Cons: Nothing!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This accommodation is like an oasys of peace and tranquillity with a mesmerising view that takes your breath away. The swimming pool was great! The room was clean, breakfast was very good and the owners of the place very helpful. The location is beautiful though not easily accessible by foot from the port. This is not a problem because there is a bus every hour right next to the hotel. We had a great stay here and we would definetely go back here again.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The view, pool and staff were spectacular. The whole entire staff had an amazing impact on our stay. Giuseppe, while running errands, bought our tickets for the ferry to leave the island, the older gentleman, when I hurt my hand pretty badly and accidentally took me in, cleaned my wound and bandaged me up. The breakfast and dinner were fresh and delicious. Every room has a balcony looking over the beautiful island. Rooms, lobby and bar are all beautiful.
Cons: The only downside is timing the bus to go down to town to go out. If you stay out late, you’ll have to take cab back up. The ride isn’t long though.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The property is absolutely beautiful, it has an amazing view of both sea and mountains and the sunsets look beautiful from the terrace. We really enjoyed the time spent by the pool and having a glass of wine on the terrace, which is full of flowers and just give you a wonderful feeling. The staff was very helpful and nice throughout our stay and the bruschetti prepared here were the best we've tasted. We would definitely come back but next time we need to rent a car in order to explore better the surroundings.
Cons: If possible, I recommend you come by car or you rent a car because using the bus can be a bit of a hassle. There is a direct bus that takes you to the center, however it comes only once every hour so you really have to plan accordingly and the public transport system is a bit disorganized on the island. The supermarket is also a good 30 minutes walk (or some 10 minutes with the bus), which I think is important to know if you are not coming with a car.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: View and the hospitality , clean, butiful little hotell
6,7 Good
Pros: Staff are very friendly and lovely. View from our balcony room was beautiful. Good air conditioning for the stifling heat at night. Great breakfast.
Cons: Our bed was terribly uncomfortable- two single beds pushed together to make a double. Springs poking into our backs and hard. Not a pleasant sleep even with a cool room. The price was for peak season but absolutely wasn’t worth it - even for Italian standards.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Nice view over Casamicciola, very clean, quiet and clean pool, lot of trees and flowers, friendly staff.
Cons: Everything as expected.

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a computer station, and express check-in. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge during limited hours.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The views are breathtaking from the multistory balconies, and the location being away from town make this the perfect hotel if you're looking to relax. Meals at the on-site restaurant were delicious and we ended up having lunch here daily, be sure to try the local wine! If you do decide to leave the hotel be sure to ask if they can coordinate with their suggested taxi driver Salvatore, we went to dinner at a number of places around the island and his prices were always fair, especially when compared to our initial experiences with taxi drivers on the island. Front desk staff are happy to help organize transportation, and suggest restaurants if you are looking to leave the grounds. All in all a great experience and would happily return.
Cons: We really loved everything about this hotel, the one thing I would note is that if you have any mobility issues it may be a bit of a challenge it is a steep walk up from the beach or a steep walk down from the road.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Everything about this hotel was great. Staff, location, view etc. . We had an enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Private, quiet place to stay. Hotel off the beaten path, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room with sea view was wonderful. Good breakfast and good restaurant. Warm thermal pool waters a treat!
Cons: Lots of stairs
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location. Close to the beach and excellent sea view. The staffs are friendly and helpful.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: the wine & peaches!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: I loved the fact that it had its own beach and also a warm thermal pool
Cons: Perhaps they should include the cost of the water taxi to a Ischia Ponte in the room cost- one return journey each day?
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The food in the restaurant was very good and there was a nice variety of dishes to choose from. Good sized portions and cooked to order. The pasta dishes in particular were delicious. Pleasant room for dining. All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Laura in the restaurant and Onofrio on reception. Onofrio was the only member of staff who spoke good English and he was extremely helpful with advice about getting around the Island and places of interest to visit. This hotel is not for people with mobility issues as there are many steps involved in getting about as the hotel is on several levels. The private beach was well serviced and guests of the hotel had free use of the sun beds and umbrellas. The water taxi was a great way to get to Porto Ponte although we walked there most days and then into Ischia Port where the bus terminal was situated. Again, a steep climb from the hotel to the main road.
Cons: The rooms without a sea view looked onto a wall and scrub land although they each had a small balcony. I wouldn't recommend booking a room without a sea view although there is a large terrace for guests to use in front of the hotel. However the rooms did have adequate facilities including a fridge, air-conditioning and a great shower. Breakfast had a good choice of food but was very carbohydrate and sugar heavy. The quality of the food was nowhere as good as the restaurant food. Excellent tea and coffee served at breakfast.
4,6 Okay
Pros: Front desk staff helpful and friendly
Cons: Rooms are quite simple and don’t have a/c, which I overlooked upon making the reservation. Towels are brittle. Bathroom is tiny, with toilet under the shower, which makes for quite a mess. Wifi is a joke, and we barely got any cellular connection in the room.

6,7 Good
Pros: The lady on reception when I arrived, I think the owner, was very welcoming and helpful - a warm welcome! You also get 15% discount in the restaurant where the food is nice. Very picturesque views from restaurant and from the room. Bathroom was best feature of the room, shower was lovely, and extremely clean. Bus stop right outside hotel to get to port, marina grande, and Marian Corricella. Hotel also situated a few mins walk from lovely beach.
Cons: Some of staff were friendly but some it took a while to get attention when needed help at reception or in the restaurant. Apart from owner, the staff have limited English - but maybe this is more a need for me to learn Italian! However a lot of noise from area during the night and as doors to balcony don’t block out any sound so didn’t sleep that well. Bed also not very comfortable.

Pros: Breakfast was wonderful especially the homemade croissants!!
Cons: Seating in the restaurant was a little tight

10,0 Excellent

10,0 Excellent
Pros: I read multiple reviews and want to say this is not a Ritz Carlton type of hotel but a beautiful boutique hotel in South of Italy... and it is not a big issue if the reception does not have an English accents... better a nice and real smile than a cold and fake one with a British accent. I really like the quite location and the bed, which was super comfortable. All staff is very friendly and always available to help and satisfy my multiple requests ... dinner was great ... and local wine is amazing ... Swimming pool and barman - top service and very interesting cocktails, even if I can enjoy for few hours before leaving I love the slow pace ... really help me to relax a bit after a full day of work
Cons: Add some tables in the garden ... it can be a nice location for serving food
4,6 Okay
Pros: We liked the pool area, the drinks and especially the one bar keeper working in the hotel.
Cons: Besides the barkeeper the staff was never present, and wasn‘t able to help us with anything. No towels in the entire (rundown) spa. The food and breakfast was horrible. Overall the hotel was very nice on the first sight but super rundown after checking a little bit closer. Showers wouldn’t work, no toilet by the pool, no drinks or food after 6pm. Ebikes for rent but super expensive.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet and lovely hidden paradise, beautiful pool area and wow, we were really spoiled by the wonderful and extremely friendly staff. They definitely go the extra mile.
Cons: Some smaller things could be improved such as imperfections in the interior of the room, minor things really. And the choice for a black pool is somewhat strange, but hey, why complaining about less important things: this is a piece of paradise and has the most friendly and helpful staff we ever came across.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Great room with wonderful views from the terrace
Cons: This hotel has no concept of client service, at all. The restaurant was shut, no chef, but we were not notified of this before arrival. They expected us to pay for taxis to get to restaurant.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel surpassed our expectations. We were on our honeymoon and were upgraded the first night, which was wonderful. The original room we booked was also excellent. All staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. It was in an excellent location from which we could walk to all of the local ports. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to go back there one day!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: It’s was in a good location , not to far from the center , so it was quite
Cons: Nothing
4,6 Okay
Pros: Nice pool. Good spread at breakfast.
Cons: Where to start...this hotel is tired, hugely understaffed and not worth the price tag. Our two room suit smelt of damp where it has crept in and not been treated. There is currently no restaurant onsite that is open for dinner, you have to take their shuttle down to the marina (at a cost to you) to eat at their restaurant there. When by the pool in the morning there are no staff present (as they only seem to have one very hard working waiter) so if you need water you have to go get your own from your minibar or back at breakfast. There is nowhere to get a drink from after 9PM. Weeds all in the gardens, paint splashed up all the railings that shouldn’t be there...I could go on but I’m sure you get the picture by now!
3,8 Mediocre
Cons: This is not a 5 star hotel. It’s 3 star
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The AC in the room was good and the room has a small dressing room attached to it. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The room was cleaned everyday and the breakfast was excellent. They had a good variety of bread and pastries and cheese as well as fresh fruits. I specially liked the soya bread and the cherry available everyday. They have bikes for rent and the spa is also recommended. The quality of the products used in the spa was excellent. I also used their car to go to different places in the island, the price was reasonable. Antonio the driver was helpful and he was our guide. It was a memorable stay.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: A very good place to stay at Procida. The room is a bit small, but the hotel itself is very nice and friendly.
Cons: I would like to have more options for breakfast like cheese and ham.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Very nice spot, the staff were very nice and welcoming
Cons: They did not mention that bicycles were not included, just offered them. At the moment of paying we found an additional 30 euros for having used two for a couple of hours.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Felt well taken care of when we showed up. We checked in early and took a nap before heading out to explore. We liked our patio and the gardens. The tilework in the room was tasteful and pretty. The shutters did a good job of keeping the room dark. We had dinner at the property and I wasn’t feeling well and they prepared a dinner tray for me to have in bed.
Cons: The rooms were not all that sound proof and the roosters were pretty loud earlier in the in the morning than we wanted to wake up. It might be good to be proactive and tell people how to get to your location – bus schedule and taxi info. We walked and felt like we were taking our lives in our hands.
