The room is normal, clean and warm
It was difficult to find the hotel in dark time and the locals haven't any information about this hotel The woman at the reception desk was absolutely unfriendly She gave us the wrong information about tickets for public transport She said that we couldnt buy tickets by credit card in tram only by cash but this was lie Each tram has special automat in the middle of carrage and you can buy tickets by cash or by card We travel a lot but this was the first time when we met so unfriendly staff And we were very ashamed of her because she speaks Russian
The place was clean and inexpensive
Well, where do I start: (1) location: terrible; almost 35-40 min from downtown; worse: if you´ve never been to Prague and arrive when dark you probably won't find the place! How about investing in signs to help finding the hotel? Honestly: the ONLY sign is visible if you're 2 m from the main entrance; the hotel is located in what looks like an abandoned office building area; it took us nearly 40 min to find the freaking place. Second: your breakfast offer is lame and boring; at least get some fresh bread and real orange juice; and since you´re in the hospitality business how about training your personnel to show some politeness (and smile) from time to time?
Price, access to transport to city centre.
Beat up place, but the price reflects that and I didn't expect more.
The most important is a balance between the price and what you get. I'm happy with this one. No complaints. 4 night spent alone in a room with three beds, clean towels, clean floor, clean bathroom, silent area, clean air, each day cleaned trash can, etc. This TV on a wall was from the previous century, though who needs a TV these days)) P. S. To spend a few days in Prague, especially traveling, and come only for a sleep, this is a pretty decent facility.
I didn't try to breakfast there a once, because no time for me. Always in a rush. So I can't tell anything. Though my inner feelings tell me it's an average, still better than nothing.
Pretty good location, close to the Vrsovice district which is one of the best in Prague. The room was big (with 2 beds even though I booked only a single room) and clean (the cleaning staff is changing sheets and towels each day). The bed was comfortable and the hotel is far from any big road so I had a very good sleep. Staff seems friendly from the little interaction I had with them. Overall, very good value for money (especially if you don't mind the old feeling of the place).
The hotel is fairly old and hasn't been refurbished for several years, it still does the job and is reflected in the price though. Breakfast was noting special, choice was large but some products were/look not very fresh (bread for example), also scrambled eggs cost 50kc extra.
