Comfortable and clean.
We had a mostly comfortable stay, but there were a few weird things worth mentioning. This is a koser/jewish hotel with many conveniences oriented for participants in the religion. Most of the guests are Jewish, so if you dislike hearing constant hebrew, maybe choose a different hotel. This was not obvious via Kayak where I was doing searching, I should have dug a bit more. This did not effect our stay, was just surprised on arrival. - Our room was in the lower floor near the spa and a few service rooms. There was constant noise outside our room in the mornings. - One morning we had no water. - Our TV cable was unplugged so we just got static, had to investigate and plug it in. Just weird... - The marketing pictures for the hotel were extremely generous - border-line deceiving. Actual sizes of rooms were much smaller. - The location looks amazing, but street view it first. It's near a major intersection and highway. On the ground floor rooms you get some road noise. Overall, we were very laid back guests so these things didn't kill our trip, but these were the facts. In retrospect the price was probably not justified.
Amazing service kosher meals a big plus walking distance from all the great sites beautiful spa
Specialized hotel for religious jews mostly
Nice place, boutique style, good big room with high ceiling. 5 minutes walk from Praha 1 center. Good walking tour with Vered in Hebrew.
Food is so-so.
The best in Golden Tulip was the size of the room.
The worst was the cleaning. They don't worry about your cups, the bathroom, etc
Location was excellent. As a single woman, I had a concern with the ground floor room, and Daniel (A+:) changed my room, cheerfully. Other staff were very helpful at the front desk with questions about tours and event bookings and directions. Breakfast was good with hot eggs and meat, very well managed with good staff. My room was rather large for European standards. Bathroom nice.
I was a little apprehensive upon initial approach, because the hotel was not pretty and then the entrance steps not grand with old carpet and dark hall leading to reception.
