The lady on the reception was very helpful and tried her best. Just too remote without a car. The campsite across the road was good for a meal (it did say no non residents but was ok)
If you don't have a car you are stuck. 2 buses a day, 9.20am and 1.30pm in and out of town. The restaurant was closed 2 weeks ago . At least 20 mins down hill and up the road to get to a restaurant. Also no beer in hotel. Winter bus times are poor. We left after 1 night and stayed in Portoferraio.

The location of the hotel is beautiful, there is a sea view and there is peace and quiet. The cleanliness was taken care of in the room. Portoferraio is a 5-minute drive away.
Breakfast was rich but uneventful, the same menus were set daily. At our departure in the morning there was no opportunity to get lunchbox or coffee even though I asked for it the day before. The room was running water from the air-conditioning. A septic tank stinks in the car parking lot.

Quiet in the middle of the woods with a nice view that you can enjoy at the hotel‘s restaurant or pool. You def. need a car however. The staff was also very nice and the room lovely and clean.

The staff, particularly Jessica, were so helpful and understanding when we shortened our stay. They also shuttled us to town twice to help out. Great location and views if you are visiting the island and have a vehicle.
Its rather far from town and if you dont have a car the taxi fares are genuinely obscene for a mere 5kms. The public transport is very infrequent and cannot be relied upon.
