Nice place to start our trip in Portugal (Porto). John, the man at reception, was friendly and very helpful. The room was very good quality especially for the price you pay.
Hotel is placed just next to the bus stop. It's not so far from the centre of Porto and Gaia, but it takes some time to get there. The staff is very polite and helpful. Being cheerful they will help you with everything. Best proportion price/quality.
Great location. Parking garage reasonably priced @7€ per night.
Needs renovation (ceiling cables visible). dirty carpets, superficial cleaning (missed hair in bathroom), unfriendly staff at reception and lobby (e.g. bellhop only opened door at random).
Helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast and all areas spotlesslly clean.
Noisy barking dog next door. No plugs in the bathroom for the bath, the bidet or the basin ( do people really steal plugs these days?). No glass or drinking utensil in the room. No chair.
Extremely freindly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. It is close to the centre of town. Highly recommended!
Good breakfest. Cean.
Dog near the hotel :)
The owner of this hotel who is serving his goods in his best English with a warm heart for his guests. The breakfast with on the end a small bottle with yoghurtdrink. A small familyhotel in a nice old style.
The mould in the bathroom should be removed.
Small and old bathroom, small room, noise from the service rooms at 11:00 pm
Good and friendly owners of the hotel. Well cleaned bedrooms. Not too far from the town center, you can do everything by walk. Very good price/quality. Very interesting is the free parking you can have on the other side of the street, it saved us more than 10€.
actually nothing really bothered us. The owners aren't very good with languages, but they compensate that with a smile and a little bit french and english in the mix :-)
15 min walk to the centre.
However, the neighbourhood was rather scary. Staff was only ok, poor English, but suffiecint for basic/inevitable communication. Poor breakfast.
