You can not ask for a better hotel with a better location. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Will book no other hotel next time I we go to Paris.
We didn’t stay long enough.
The location is great, staff is friendly, the bed was pretty good.
The whole hotel is in desperate need of a good renovation. Outside looks beautiful, but inside the rooms are worn out. Very 80's. The watertap was not fixed. Carpets are dirty and worn out. Lots of "paint" damage, some items just fell from the wall spontaneously when i was there. The last night the heater in the hotel broke, so there was no hot water to shower, and this for only 375 Euros a night :-(((. There are certainly better places to stay for this kind of money.
The location is outstanding. They also recognized my husband's birthday which was a classy treat. Their sweets bar was adorable and flavored water in the lobby. The personal bar in the drawing room was a special touch.
There were a few maintenance issues in the room such as wiggly faucet and an outlet cover that fell off. I alerted the front desk upon check out. It would also have been nice to have coffee in the lobby.
The best thing about this hotel, apart from its amazing staff and amenities, is it’s A-1 location. Once a private residence, where the breakfast is served in the former wine cellar, it couldn’t be more convenient - on the Left Bank, close to Notre Dame. Everything is within walking distance - wonderful restaurants, bars, and easy access to many tourist destinations. We will definitely return!
The rooms are small, but not an inch of space is wasted. It provides everything you need. The hotel is charming, historic, and unique.
Staff were great. I had mentioned "anniversary" when i booked room 6 months earlier. I totally forgot. THEY DID NOT! What a treat - rose petals, chocolate dipped strawberries, champagne and more. I looked like a hero. They took care of everything. Well done Melia Paris Notre Dame crew and thank you!
That we had to leave! There isnt anything we did not like
Fully renovated, this 16th century mansion house provides free WiFi throughout the hotel, a breakfast buffet, a pleasant and welcoming bar to relax and even work in comfort in Paris. The hotel also provides 39 bright, quiet and elegant rooms with magnificent views overlooking Notre-Dame Cathedral or the French-style garden.
