Friendly staff, comfortable room and perfect location. Great value!
Room was smaller than I expected, desk too small to work on and chair very uncomfortable with a broken desk lamp.
The staff were pleasant generally, the hotel was clean, the little gifts left for not having the towels changed was quite sweet. Location is excellent for transport anywhere in Paris as you are only 2 minutes from metro and buses. It is very close to the Moulin Rouge and all the theatres and cinemas.
The room was small and because of this lacked space for storage or somewhere to put anything on (chest of drawers or table) and not comfortable chair to sit in after a day walking, The breakfast was a little disappointing but what was available was ok, we did have an issue with the coffee machine and did ask for it to be changed but had to ask 3 times for a replacement. The bathroom did lack an extractor fan which was an issue after a shower. the hotel is in a nice area although it close to area that does contain all the sex shops, but this did have little impact on where the hotel is situated.
The two men at reception were amazing. Very helpful, always happy and always willing to help us. In our opinion, went above and beyond. Close to CrossFit Louvre III which made my stay great especially if you would like to continue training whilst away.
It was near the red light district of Paris. Did not feel safe walking around that particular area in the day, let alone at night. Told to stay clear of it after midnight. This put us off the whole trip really and we were then wishing we stayed at ronceray as it was a bit more touristy and felt more safer.
We loved the location of this little hotel The staff were great and always on hand Good value place to base oneself for exploring Paris
Bed was comfortable, breakfast buffet was good and location was exellent
I am so sorry but this is not a four star hotel. Rooms were very small. We were a family of four and had 2 rooms. One of the rooms even did not have an chair/armchair to sit. Cannot blame them as there was no space to place the chair. No sleepers or toiletiers (expect soap&shampoo) were provided in both rooms. Hotel needs refurbishment. Towels and furnitures were old (not authentic). The cleaning standarts were not very high either.
Located in this landmark of artists, bohemians but also trendy night owls, one could not have dreamt of a better location for the R. Kipling Hotel. The address of an extraordinary and trendy district that is once again in the spotlight, R. Kipling stands out for its sophisticated and relaxed style, in contrast to the bustle of a "South Pi" in the midst of a renaissance and which never sleeps. In the R.Kipling Hotel’s 40 rooms with their pastel blue and green tones, the focus is on comfort so the bed takes pride of place. During your stay at the Hotel R Kipling, enjoy the little attentions that make great happiness. From tea & coffee at will all day, the Yummy Corner with detox water at your disposal and a gourmet breakfast. Take a break! Also discover our on-the-go offer with our cheese and delicatessen boards.
