We had an attic/loft room, which was nice - it had a little character. But the bathroom had a strong moldy/stagnant water smell. Perhaps the sink was not draining properly. We just kept the bathroom door closed. Temperature regulation in the room was not great. For both of these small issues, it was probably just our particular room. You cannot beat the location.
