Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praise the hotel's convenient location, making it ideal for walking and river watching or accessing nearby attractions. However, many reviews highlight significant cleanliness issues, with reports of dirty rooms, unpleasant odors, and ongoing renovations causing mess and discomfort. Breakfast is a major disappointment for most, with limited options, poor quality, and items frequently running out. The pool is often mentioned as being out of order, and some guests note service as mixed, with a few positive staff interactions but also complaints about rudeness or unhelpfulness. Overall, while the location stands out as a positive, the hotel's cleanliness and breakfast offerings fall well below expectations.

Pros (+) Location, location, location. Room was spacious and comfortable
Cons (-) The pool area was not inviting. No seats, no place to put anything. The pool itself felt worn out and very small. Four adults in the water and no room for more swimmers

Pros (+) The staff was super nice and helpful.
Cons (-) The air conditioner wasn’t working properly so our first night was super miserable. We were able to switch rooms but then the refrigerator wasn’t working in the new room.

Pros (+) This hotel was pet friendly, the staff was nice and it is close to the hotsprings. It looks like they are in the process of upgrading some of the features so that is good.
Cons (-) Nothing too terrible, but the hotel is older and there are some wonky parts. For example you can't really tell which is the front entrance because it is not marked clearly. The doors to get into the hotel (not the main entrance, but the one next to our room) sometimes work with keycard and sometimes they don't, which even the lady at the front desk informed me of. The room was decent, however the ...
