Very kind hotel owners, everything is tidy and done with love! I would return at any time. Amazing!
Clean, Well kept, friendly staff. Traditional Bavarian/alpine decor. We booked a larger room fit for 3 people since we knew we would have a lot of ski luggage. There was a nice balcony. Garage under the building with a lift that goes all the way up to the 3rd floor. Ski closet outside for storage, next to the stairs down to the garage. It was a short 10 minute walk into downtown area, where there are great shops and restaurants. Breakfast was normal cold cuts, breads, jams, cheese, yogurt, cereals, even a soft boiled egg delivered to the table. They were great and accommodated a lactose free guest with lactose free milk and yogurt everyday. Coffee/ espresso made to order. They also has a small gluten free basket of breads available. They helped point out the bus stops although a little hard to understand which goes where bc there are so many. You can walk into town and straight up to the Seceda lift if you want or wait for the bus. You can also take the bus in downtown directly to the sosalong lift if you want to start the sellaronda bright and early. Compared to the other places in the area this was affordable for us, which was appreciated.
Nothing we had a great time.
Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Hotel is located on quiet street, where you will not be bothered by sounds of driving by traffic. Hotel is very clean. In the morning you will have very good breakfast with wide choice. In the evening or after the ski there is a possibility to have a drink or two at hotel's bar. Hotel is located in around 300m from Seceda skylift station. There is also a ski rent and a locker option, so you don't need to take skis and boots to the hotel - after skiing equipment stays in Ortisei ski school & rental. Lockers are equipped with heating for boots. In 200m from hotel is the main street with many shops and restaurants. Everything in the centre of Ortisei is reachable by foot from this hotel.
Everything was good.
