Good central location with easy parking
Most of it...... The foyer is an entrance to a very rundown bar/nightclub/pub.... The communal areas are shabby and dirty.... The rooms are very very basic, the heating is a portable radiator, the windows are single glazed and it’s in the middle of a traffic island! Noisy as hell! the bed is a small double with a summer quilt (it’s winter still people!).... The breakfast was set out in the rundown bar area, again very basic and poor quality, no formal seating just random knife & forks set down on dirty bar tables. The idea that because it’s “cheap” £65.00 per night doesn’t excuse this, Premier Inn can do it for the same and they are in a different league. I stayed here because the town was packed out because of an expo I was attending and this was close . I cannot recommend this to anyone unless it literally is the only place left! This is not really a “Hotel” it’s more like a run down 70’s guest house!
The carpets were disgusting and filthy. The tv is too small and in a corner of the room by the floor. The beds were so uncomfortable. And I could hear the traffic all night. Didnt get any sleep. The breakfast was cold and the eggs were rubbery
Dirty !dirty !dirty ! I will not stay again even if someone will pay me for it. I don’t believe that someone clean the room like ever. I will expect that sharing bathroom will be clean on regular basics. How I seen in at arrival the same I seen at leaving just little bit worse. Hair towels around shower and all around floor. I was rather not use it at all than risk some disease. Location is close to town centre but in middle of junction u can hear every car and people walking around. Bed at first I was afraid to even sit and I was right about it I have some bait spots so there have to be bed bugs ! I m travelling around England and been in lots of hotels. Definitely even shelter is better !! If there is no option I’m rather to pay more and have comfort of staying than visiting that place again. If u wanna make a drink I have place kettle at floor as there is only one socket available. Best of all is that u can’t feel safe there as poor lock at the doors and fire doors are open stopped from closing by like I seen fresh towels on the floor. Then u getting them in your room. Bad rly bad. Don’t know why booking.com even have that option here. For sure I will read reviews when I book anything cheap (£45) for that price room should have at least free WiFi in the room.
Breakfast was terrible
Only thing that we liked was the location.
The breakfast, the attitude of the receptionist as well as the cleanliness and smell of the hotel and the room.
