Due to travel issues with the coronavirus we were obliged to alter our booking. We approached booking.com who said they approached the hotel and this would incur cancellation fee. However when we fronted up to the hotel they siad this was np problem at all. we were very appreciative of this.
Particularly with coronavirus issues we felt the cleanliness in the bathroom, hard surfaces in the bedroom and the tables in the restaurant could have been better.
Lovely big room. Had our dogs with us and allowed to order food and eat I room....
Style of room, very clean and overall a lovely room.
Pillows were hard and baby cot was a little grubby.
All the staff I encountered were very friendly. A*
The pillows were very hard and uncomfortable.
The staff were all friendly and very helpful. Without any hassle they got us a second duvet and extra coffee. Breakfast was great and dinner good. Room was clean and practical.
What's dragging the score down is three things mainly. Number one, the dog fee. 10£ per dog per night ended up almost the same what we originally payed for the room. Number two. The beds. Although good size it was hard. It's fine for one night if you're not super sensitive but for two nights it can really damage quality of sleep. Number three, location. In the middle of an industrial area with absolutely no shop within reasonable walking distance. Only super expensive hotel snacks on offer.
Our focus is always on you, so from the friendly staff at our 24-hour reception to our late-opening bar (perfect for a nightcap with good company), you'll find your every need met around the clock. Plus with huge en suite showers, Sweet Beds in every room and almost endless breakfast possibilities, you can be sure you'll check out feeling rested, rejuvenated and extremely well fed.
