The staff were very polite and helpful. the concierge made us a great travel plan. we even lost our ticket to one of the tours and hotel staff printed out another one with no issues. We had a great time in the hotel and in Aruba. The staff was s
The hotel staff was absolutely outstanding in terms of the commitment to doing quality work associated with their particular role and being genuinely pleasant as you interacted with them,
It sounds really trite, but the climate control (thermostat) in the room was really problematic. Hot, cold, on, off. I ended up getting a damn cold in the tropics.
I liked the service and helpful/polite staff.
There was construction on the premises. When we booked palapa on the beach (with great difficulty as there were none available ever) we were put next to construction. I couldn’t relax as noise and smell of digging the ground behind a fence really bothered me. Eventually we had to leave the beach. Also there isn’t enough palapas for all guests. You are told to book at 7:00am online if you book at 7:01 all is taken. It’s too stressful for a vacation. We come to Aruba for the beach experience. Pool is nice but we like the beach however we couldn’t experience it the way we wanted to.
The hotel grounds were very clean both in doors and outside. Easily accessible to other restaurants and night life. My favorite was the beach-very clean and not much seaweed. The pool is open until 12am. The pool was my least favorite because people either left cups inside the pool or too close to the edge and the wind blew the cups into the pool.
The restaurants were all very pricey. My daughter is 8 years old. She didn’t eat much but I found myself paying a lot for her meal. Should be more options on the kids menu at the hotel.
I enjoyed the atmosphere
Too many lizards at the poolside
