9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was awesome. The location was great. The place just has so much atmosphere . Cool music. Fantastic breakfast and dinner is always something to look forward to. The rooms are spacious and lovely rustic charm i
Cons: Very minor but perhaps some softer pillows and shower facilities upstairs would be good but I don’t really want the place to change it’s great as it is, a little rustic but atmospheric galore, no bling here and thanks for that
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent! Only a short walk to the lifts. wonderful staff who were quick to accommodate any requests.
Cons: Larger cups needed for tea and coffee making
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We visited in Feb - prime winter skiing. Amazing add on meal options, just absolutely nutritious and delicious, especially after a day on the mountain! A very easy walk up to the ski field. The team can organise lift tickets (exchange vouchers - cheaper than the field), and skis for you. Option for evening trip to an Onsen available too. Very friendly team, happy to help you out!!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The location is slightly tough for us to locate as maybe we were here during the heavy snow. Free parking space available in front of the home stay. Must try their special dinner set and their complimentary breakfast is good. The owner is very friendly sending us to the Authentic Hot Spring and drop by us at a supermarket for our supper. The room is scented and the decoration is quite unique.
Cons: Nothing except for the night were disturbed by other guest who were stuck outside of the house in the middle of the night. They were yelling for help and we were awaken by them. Noticing there are no respond to them so my partner went down to the Basement and ask for the staff to help them up. The night was quite scary when we heard the yelling sound.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: great hotel, great owner and great staff Breakfast and dinner are superb The owner takes us to different hot spring every night I got injured during snowboarding, the owner drive me all the way to the hospital in the evening Feel like home and will stay again!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed every second there- from the accommodating staff, the breakfast and dinner are delicious and they changed the menu everyday, it’s much better than the dinner offered at outside restaurants, which are crowded, poor quality and expensive. We had amazing service by all the staff, they are super friendly and helpful. Besides the deciduous meal service, they have the shuttle pick up service, onsen after dinner, ski equipment rental etc, We felt like royalty there! I have been in Niseko for ski twice a year in the past 10 years, I was staying at different hotels in this area, Milky House gave me the surprising that there services and food quality are better than those four and five stars hotels and resorts here. Sure will come again to catch the cozy and friendly atmosphere, Feel like home, so warm and comfortable! The room is clean and tidy Solomon and Armando, provided excellent service too! We never went thirsty, and they brought us out some shots to try every night! They were so much fun just to hang out with! These gentleman were top-notch in serving their patrons!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful time at our stay at the milky house cottage. The owner was extremely kind and the staff were excellent. The 3 course dinner (an extra) was well worth it. And the Onsen trio is a must.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The view from the cottage and great hospitality! The staff at the inn were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast and dinner were both exceptional. My family liked it a lot.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I loved absolutely everything about the milky house cottage. 10/10 would recommend to everyone

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location good, accommodation was good, shuttle to the slopes provided, the owner was amazing, pick us up dropped us off at check in and out. He was really nice super informative. For the price cant go wrong.
Cons: I'm 5'5" and the ceiling was just a little small during the hallway. Not a big deal at all. In the rooms, ceiling height is better but a little tight in the shower. Still would stay here again and again.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It’s clean and cosy. It’s situated close to the shuttle bus as well as the facilities nearby like marts and restaurants.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at 2 places in Niseko. I would highly recommended this place. -Close enough to town. Walking distance to gondola. Free shuttle to gondola from end of the street. - Clean/ enough room -Kitchen has microwave, grill and hot water for cups of noodles - kid friendly (toys) - activity (rock climbing, America style dinning down street) - restaurants across the road - beautiful hosts - great value would stay again.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Value for money in Niseko at that time of year. Beds were very comfortable and having a washing machine in the room was a bonus.
Cons: Space, but it was a more a Japanese style, a lounge area would have been nice. The WIFI was very poor.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Exactly as described. 15 - 20 min walk to the slopes, bus stop nearby takes you to hirafu or hanazono. Good breakfast for the price. Even though the owners speak limited english they do all their best to meet your demands, I had no problems whatsoever.
Cons: Nothing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The owners were very friendly and accommodating. A quick phone call when I arrived at the Hirafu Welcome Center and he came and picked me up within a few minutes. Situated in a quiet neighborhood away from the more built up portions of the main village area. Nice restaurants and a convenience store within a 5 minute walk. Free Shuttle buses to Grand Hirafu and Hanazono pick up about a block away. Hirafu Gondola is about a 15 minute walk (mostly uphill) if you need to get to the slopes early. Definitely was an enjoyable experience.
Cons: The door into the ski room is pretty short, so watch your head!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The place was clean and looked just like in the picture. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, they picked us up and dropped us off at the welcome center for free, which was very convenient for us. The place was a walking distance to the bus stop and convenience store. It is also about a 10-15 mins walking distance to the welcome center and ski slopes.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place which is spacious, comfortable and clean. Love how there are extra heater in case you’d be cold and showers were amazing too! Location was great if you don’t mind walking 5-10min into Hirafu village. A Lawson convenience store was just 3 min walk away! Ohkoshi-San, the owner was Super friendly and helps us with any questions you have very very promptly! He also accommodated our timings for our private transfer to and fro the Hirafu Welcome Centre! Thanks so much for such a wonderful and comfy stay! Will be back again if we return to Niseko! :):)
Cons: Nothing really.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Good rooms, and very clean. Nice kitchen where you would often meet the other people staying there.
Cons: It was a bit of a walk to the welcome centre if you didn't catch the bus.

Pros: The location was fantastic.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Very friendly and welcoming. Homely. Great host who is very friendly.
7,1 Good
Pros: The room was clean. There was a morning shuttle to the lifts. The facilities are new and we'll kept.
Cons: Coffee was mediocre. Breakfast selection was limited.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: very awesome place and friendly staffs and nice area to put ur snow gear after the days riding
Cons: the door on one of the bathroom was a bit broken ( the hinge was loose )
7,1 Good
Pros: A dated lodge filled with stuff, and almost entirely run by Australians, who are friendly as usual. Breakfast is decent, with great views out over the snow toward the soaring Mt Yotei. Everything is set up for skiing, with dedicated heating rooms for gear, and an early free shuttle, on top of the standard free all-day shuttles. The international community here is friendly, although there's very little that's Japanese about the lodge, with most visitors coming from Australia. Free shuttle to and from the bus station was a great help.
Cons: Distance is a little far from the slopes - outside of the early free shuttle, you're often standing in the cold waiting for a shuttle van to pass the closest stop. It feels a bit like an old people's home in some ways - lots of stuff hanging all over the walls, things lying around, dated decor.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Thankyou so much guys, you made my time in Niseko amazing! You are all so welcoming and warming, it really felt like home! Beds are comfy Shower is powerful Living room and bar room is amazing Breakfast is great There is a shuttle bus 4 mins walk down the road which takes you to the slopes from 8:30am - 8:30pm, operating every 20mins.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable chalet! Everything seems new except the sofa was a bit worn. But that is the least concern.
Cons: No direct service to supermarket. Only available to nearest convenience store.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Chalets are well equipped and comfortable.
Cons: Distance from village is restrictive without personal transport. Shuttle bus only runs once per hour at night this is an issue as you can end up spending a lot of time waiting in the cold. Should run every half hour like it does in the morning. If the shuttle bus ran more frequently in the evenings then distance from village would be less of an issue.
7,9 Good
Pros: Spacious!
Cons: Bed can be more comfortable. The bed frame is definitely an obstacle and dangerous as bigger than the mattress. Got hit a few times!
8,8 Excellent
Cons: Unable to use the garage, had a hard time clearing snow on our 2 cars due to heavy snow fall overnight.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The house is clean, comfortable and offer pick up service The facilities in the house is very good I was enjoy staying there
Cons: Not located near minimart, but the property offer a shutter bus service which is acceptable.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very professional and friendly. Our luggage for directly transferred from the airport and they received it while we were out for lunch. The staff was even helpful to carry the luggage including 4 snow boards to the villa as well.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Nice house. Very clean. Great staff. One evening, our car was stuck in the snow while avoiding an on coming car along the way as we were leaving the estate for grocery. The staff from MnK that manages the property went out of their way to help us get out. Through out the whole time, they kept their smiles while going out of their way to help us.. Very much appreciated..
Cons: Was not able to use the transport provided because it did not stop at Alpen Ridge where we have our ski lessons. Having to bring family of five with all the kids ski equipment to walk from the planned stop at Seicomart and walk to Alpen Ridge was not an option for us.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Snow
Cons: Far from town
6,7 Good
Pros: Nice chalets in a quite location. Good size and good facilities. Generally a good place to stay with friends. A little far from the main town, but it's manageable. If we return, we would hire a car to make live easier.
Cons: Arranged a coach transfer, but had to call the chalet to meet them in the town centre. There is a shuttle bus to and from the town, but the timing is never quite right. One or two times the scheduled bus didn't arrive and had to wait an 30/40 mins till the next one.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: staff are very willing to help.

7,5 Good
Pros: Ski in and out, perfect location!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location is good, ski in - ski out hotel.
Cons: Hotel facilities - boot dryer was non- function when I stayed there. Hope that hotel can ensure all ski facilities are in well conditioned in next season.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The location can't get any better! It's literally right at the ski lift. The breakfast also had plenty to choose from.
Cons: Overall, the hotel rooms are just outdated and it felt like we were staying in a room straight out of the 70s. BUT, it was very clean.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect - right across the Hirafu base and welcome center.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. Location - Ski in Ski out
Cons: We would have preferred 1 King size bed instead of 2 double.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very nice and helpful. They spoke a very good level of English and always greeted with a smile and patience. We really enjoyed using the hotel facilities such as the Onsen, pool and Karaoke room. The hotel is located literally 20 meters from the gear rental and ski lift which was extremely convenient. They also have lockers to store your gear overnight. On our departure date we were unable to get a taxi to the train station so the staff graciously volunteered to drive us down to the train station. They exceeded my expectations.
Cons: The hotel had a very unique Japanese vibe to it but is a bit old and lacked the feeling of a five star hotel. Nevertheless this didn’t really bother us as we came to snowboard and not to stay in the rooms.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Great location of course. Good onsen, good breakfast (if you stick to the Japanese food). Room as warm or cool as you'd want it. Fridge and safe provided, as well as water.
Cons: Staff was not customer friendly and showed little flexibility for a one-hour late check-out request (12 instead of 11) which given the price tag, and the fact that the hotel was nearly empty, should not be a problem.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location was amazing! The ski-in/ski-out perk was our primary reason for choosing this location, and it did not disappoint. The buffet breakfast was wonderful every morning, and it was very easy to get to nearby restaurants and shops. Within the hotel, we visited the onsen every day after coming off the slopes. The staff all spoke English, and were more than happy to help book dinner reservations at restaurants whose staff did not speak English. The store within the hotel is also a lifesaver; you can find all sorts of medical supplies, late night snacks, etc. there.
Cons: We went in the late season, so the roads were prone to be a bit icy. We slipped a few times; still, the sidewalks themselves are very well maintained.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great location for skiing. Very convenient transportation from the airport
5,8 Okay
Pros: Location and staff was very sweet
Cons: We were fooled into thinking the price of our stay was $500 and they hit us with so many hidden costs that it ended up being $900. Would absolutely have been worth $500 for three nights, but was absolutely not worth $900 for three nights. Very shady business practices.

Pros: The onsen is nice !
Cons: Rental is expensive
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Extra ordinary service and facility
Cons: None
7,1 Good
Pros: The restaurant view is the highlight of the hotel and skii rental price is reasonable. Direct bus from airport to hotel and good shuttle bus schedule to the skii resort.
Cons: I’ve been staying this hotel in the past 3 years on my snowboarding trip. Feels like the standard getting lower. I’ve reserved a private onsen but the interiors really not match my expectations. Aged interiors and no towels and no lotion and toner etc...... The room toilet kind of old too....
5,4 Okay
Pros: Breakfast buffet was good. Onsen was incredible with sauna, cold bath and nice outdoor view onsen
Cons: Unorganised, unwelcoming Staff made everything difficult. Many times they refused to help and go out of the way to help us in a bad situation. Some stuff were nice. The busses weren't enough for the poor location away from all the restaurants and main ski area. Busses left early often and the person in charge of skiing was rude and unhelpful in times of need. Bathroom was cramped and old. Very hard beds.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The property was lovely as were the hotel staff, very accommodating. The Onsen was exceptional. The food selection was very good. We found the room comfortable with the exception of the bed, much harder than we are used to, with that said we totally survived.
Cons: The bed was quite hard.

2,5 Mediocre
Pros: Extremely disappointed. Excessively overpriced. Very old hotel and poorly maintained. Poor quality breakfast. I thought the negative reviews I read were people being over picky, but no, they were absolutely correct. I made such a bad decision to stay here, just thinking about it makes me feel sad. Next time we visit Niseko, we will stay in Hirafu or maybe Hanazono.

Pros: The location is perfect for skiing as it's ski-to-door and the ski shuttle bus stops right in front of the hotel if you'd like to explore other skiing areas. Heated outdoor pool and onsen are excellent to relax your muscles after a day on the slopes. We also enjoyed early bird discount for a nice massage.
Cons: Buffet breakfast was rather average. Quality of ski equipment rented onsite was also not great.

Elegantly decorated, guest rooms feature picturesque mountain views and high level of comfort, naturally complimenting all the sensations a vacation at Niseko Village has to offer. Choosing the Deluxe Panorama rooms will allow guests to appreciate the unrefined beauty of this magical place to its full extent. After a long day of skiing, relax with a soak in the natural hot spring bath or recharge with a traditional Japanese massage at the hotel's renowned Wakka Spa before enjoying the wonders of local cuisine at one of the hotel's four on-site restaurants.
6,7 Good
Pros: Nice view :) and good for family.
Cons: The Onsen was dirty :( I did not mean for natural water Onsen but inside the water had many things that show they had no time to clean it up !
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Room was very comfortable. Service of the staff was exceptional. Breakfast was quite good too. Loved the Onsen and used it every night.
7,9 Good
Pros: With Onsen for free
Cons: A bit old style in decoration.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing views from picture windows, good recommendation for dinner nearby, great pillows and bedding. Wonderful array of different foods at breakfast
Cons: Lunch in attached "village" was OK but not special. Cleaning carts littered the corridor all day - unheard of in a 5-star hotel. The nature walk petered out in the middle of nowhere.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Onsen is great. Especially outside area spa was outstanding.
Cons: Facility is huge. Overview map in a guestroom would be helpful.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, helpful and friendly
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Great location where it is just located next to an outdoor activities village. The staff are helpful too as they helped us to find and give back our belongings that we have left in our room after we have checked out
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Onsen & spa
Cons: No air conditioning in the room
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We arrived in rainy cold night (yup it's summer in Japan), and the check-in process was very smooth and fast. Alus and Andika at the front desk were very helpful in accommodating our requests and also shared insightful ideas on local activities in the area. Kudos to them! Breakfast was amazing too with great selections of food. We would definitely come back for their thousands-stars service.
Cons: The building is a bit old for a Hilton. The luxurious facilities do not look that luxurious anymore.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view (although cloudy most of the time). The room was Very clean and comfy. The onsen area was clean and enjoyable but not very spacious (one indoor and one outdoor pool). Nice yukata in the room, also in children size.
Cons: The charge extra for wi-fi in the room! The prices in the restaurant are ridiculous. The onsen cleaning time was 9-12.00 am when some guests would want to use it before check-out.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: The onsen in the room overlooking the skifield and proximity to the lifts made up for the sparse furnishings
Cons: thought the room cost was quite expensive
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Great ski in ski out location. Room size was good especially for Japan. I had a room with a private onsen which is really nice but you pay dearly for it.
Cons: The buffet dinner is overpriced.
7,5 Good
Pros: Hotel should advise the mountain view for sunrise on 6 floor.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Ski storage room opens onto piste and the hotel is only a short walk from many good restaurants and bars. Massage service is very good, available until midnight and not expensive by hotel standards.
Cons: The attempt at Western style breakfast was very poor. Dinner buffet is expensive for quality: there are many restaurants nearby serving much better food at lower prices. After two nights the hotel agreed to prepare our bedding with an extra layer of futon but subsequently forgot to do this apart from the first time. Ski rental service is poor - staff do not take into account skiers' weights and damaged kit was provided.
5,7 Okay
Pros: Just thought the hotel is a bit old and the room ID has nothing to shout about. Upside is the convenient location.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Onsen in the room!! Doorstep skiing
Cons: Breakfast could be a bit better, but it was ok for us. Not too heavy.
7,1 Good
Pros: In room onsen was nice, if your brave!
Cons: Guests from the maples hotel can see into the onsen. High fee for late check out, staff missed the quotation for late check out by about $100
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Located next to the lift at the base of Hirafu. In-room onsen. Good sized room with plenty of space. Friendly staff. Breakfast was OK.
Cons: Public onsen too busy, and sanitation work did not keep up with the traffic. Ski locker a long way down from the 1st floor of hotel, and the indoor stairs in the locker room down to the run is very narrow and can only allow one-way traffic.
7,5 Good
Cons: Hotel looked tired. It is ok only if u are looking for an in room onsen in the hirafu town.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Ski to Door facilities. Great view great location. Open bath in the room. Outdoor onsen.
Cons: Quite expensive and if you pay abit more you can stay at Hilton. But I guess they made up for it with their location.
7,5 Good
Pros: Great location right next to the lifts. The onsens were awesome especially in the room.
Cons: Food was really average dinner was awful and very overpriced. Half of the buffet had been eaten and replacements came out ver infrequently

Pros: Outdoor Onsen, Dinner, Free the shuttle bus pick up and send at Niseko Station. The breakfast with view in the winter.
Cons: A room hasn’t a shower.No mountain view.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel and onsen was amazing. I enjoyed the on property dinner buffet. Also, the onsite gift shop of local made products was a bonus which helped to make getting souvenirs for family and friends nice. Lastly, the staff was very helpful and helped with all my questions about transportation. I appreciated they spoke English so well as I didn't speak Japanese.
Cons: I think if I had to say a negative, it would be the hotel is pretty far of the beaten path and Niseko village. However, they provide a free shuttle which is probably more reliable than the Niseko United free bus. The hotel makes up for its location with free shuttle.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Super cool onsen on the property. Cool Japanese culture
7,9 Good
Pros: The front desk and staff is very helpful. Really appreciate that..... Good onsen too.
Cons: The place is kind of old mayb need some upgrading and three person is one room kind of too small..... But overall it’s good place to stay.
7,1 Good
Pros: Onsen was very good
Cons: Internet speed was inadequate
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Tatami rooms, spring water our front, and breakfast
Cons: Only had one restaurant within walking distance.
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: Onsen was OK, a bit dirty and run down, but really the main focus of the Hotel, couples, though there were a number of males who did not want to wear a covering...
Cons: Staff, Room, beds, decor, peeling wallpaper, water stained furniture, corridors, WiFi, location. This is really a dirty and very run down hotel, with very small, poorly furnished and maintained rooms, with barely adequate beds and linens. It was quite pricey, $300\night for my Son and I, to share a very small room. 2 stars is a real stretch. Amazingly dirty for a Japanese facility. I could not recommend this Hotel.
5,4 Okay
Pros: It had an Onsen. Free breakfast. The staff spoke great English and was very nice and helpful.
Cons: The smell. As soon as you walk in the door it smells like fried food. On every floor it smells like a cheap Vegas hotel casino. Fried food and cigarettes. Terrible.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Generally good. The facility and room were very old and in need of renovation.
Cons: The Onden baths should be reserved for hotel guests only.
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: It had an Onsen
Cons: Old, old, old. Stains on the room carpet and on the duvet. It's like no maintenance has occurred since 1982.
