Pros: Very comfortable bed, and we loved that they had a menu pillows to choose from. Slept very well! The room was tidy and cleaning staff very efficient. We got the room made up twice per day. So nice. Nice breakfast with many options, both european and asian dishes. The staff was helpful and friendly and the service was excellent. Nice beach, very close to hotel and handy with help crossing the road.

Cons: The lights in the room were a bit weird as you had to push many buttons to find the right light and there was No explanation for what each button did. A manual could be handy. We lost Electricity a few times during nights and when that happened ALL the lights in the room started turning on and off and woke us up. The air condition resets it self very often and started cooling to 18 degrees. Everytime you open the balcony door it resets. We found that the food on the hotel restaurants was adequate at best... besides the breakfast.

Cons: No live entertainment in the hotel, had to go out at night to find some live music. Bed was like concrete but they tried to make it softer for me.Pool isn't heated would have liked to spend the afternoon by the pool.

Cons: They say the hotel has a beach but due to the 19 floor hotel building there is actually no sun at the place where the Intercontinental has their sunbeds and parasols. So is a real bummer to go to the beach in front of Intercontinental as there is no sun. I just took towels there and walked to where there was sun.

We being Muslim could not avail much of there meat choices in the breakfast and they tried their best to compensate for that with special dish for us.
