The old building had some art decour. My room was very large and the bed very confortable. First time I stayed in a boutique hotel...so unusual accomodation.
To enter the hotel you have to use 3 different set of keys. The garden needs some attention and clean as it looks abbandoned. My room had a very small computer size TV. Breakfast choice were very poor.
I will not return in this hotel unless I could not find a suitable alternative. It will teach me to book well in advance when travelling to Naples in summer time.
Location is quite inconvenient. Neighborhood is decading.
Obviously the entrance to this hotel is very rustic, but I found it charming. I didnt mind the stairs and the room was very clean and the beds comfy.i asked for extra pillows and got them straight away. The breakfast was minimal but adequate for me and it was very kind of the receptionist to bring us breakfast to our room on our departure day as we were too early for breakfast. She was a very friendly lady and helpful. The hotel was not far from the station one stop into Garibaldi and a stroll downhill to Piazza Dante. All in all we had a great time and will go back.
Breakfast could have had more choice.
This place is an Oasis inside a classic Napoli building, which like a lot of places in Italy, looks deceiving from the outside but transforms inside. Rooms are modern and nice. It is a bit of a hump to get there as it is a fair ways away from Napoli Centrale but you can catch a metro to get you there and it is certainly worth it to get away from the train station area which is the thing to do in Napoli. I've stayed here multiple times and it is just a short walk to the Archeo Museum and other districts. Works very well for me.
While you get to experience a real Napoli neighborhood which is remarkable in its own way, the only drag is that it doesn't have a lift, so you have to go up a few flights of stairs so it will keep you in shape after all the great food Napoli has to offer. You just need to understand this going in and it becomes part of your life there.
The location is amazing and the rooms are quite big
No wifi. The breakfast was really cheap so do yourself a favour and dont pay for it. Shower was mouldy and the door was missing ahah
