Very basic rooms. You have to pay for the aircon (100 yen/hour). The so called "small twin rooms" are far too small for two people. We asked a bigger room and we could get it, but at a higher price.
The bathrooms and showers where awesome, and the roof was really cool.
You had to pay extra, by the hour for air-condition. The entire establishment was really poorly taken care of. But it was also one of the cheapest places we stayed in, so great for a one night stay. Would not recommend this for a longer stay.
Great location in the heart of Naha.
The toilets need to be refurbished and required a more profound cleaning effort.
Location is great, staff is very friendly and helpful.
The showers are really nice, very large with dressing area, rain shower and an actual jungle view ;-) The roof terrace is huge, although not really in use.
This hostel has a lot of potential but unfortunately doesn’t manage to live up to it. In 4 weeks of travelling Japan it’s the first time I’m really disappointed by a hostel. Biggest inconvenience is that everything is so tiny and stuffed that you can’t store any luggage. The dorm has six bed-spaces, with a path of about 50cm so you can reach your bed one person at a time. You can’t so much as leave your shoes beside your bed without someone tripping over them. Each bed has space beside the mattress to leave luggage but we booked the twin economy which means we had two mattresses in that same space with about 20 cm between them. The only place to leave your luggage is the common room. But that is locked up between 9pm and 9am, so during that time no access to luggage! Also, by locking up the common space there is no place to sit at night or have breakfast in the morning. It really is a shame because the space is nicely decorated and with a bit of effort and a few less rooms that free up some space to actually be a bit comfortable, this could be a really nice hostel.
