Accommodation is uncomfortable and annoyed at4 am and smelly and harmful like gas and the new system for amount due for cash is 50000
Close to farbrics shops and ouds, close to Indian. Gate, sea front view,
Room carpet smells not good when you first enter the room but later you get used to it .I wish if they can Replace it with Marble or at least ceramics, no coffee machine,
Cleanliness, location, room dining, friendly staff , and big rooms
Thank you to Mr. Mohinder in reception of the palace for everything and he is one of the reasons for extending my stay in the hotel ,and I will be back soon
I liked the feel of living in a museum! The corridors to the room were beautiful!!
I saw so many reportages and reports about the Taj before I come here! I was so excited! When I checked in and stayed there I felt it was nothing like the reports with regards to paying attention to details .. It’s over rated and I didn’t feel special at all.
First opened in 1903 in what was known as Bombay, Mumbai Hotels’ The Taj Mahal Palace Mumbai has served travelers to the coastal city of India for decades. The iconic establishment became India’s first harbor landmark and has, over the years, retained an air of luxury. Equipped with 285 guest rooms and suites, the Taj Mahal Palace is an opulent piece of Mumbai history.
The rooms and suites at The Taj Mahal Palace are intricately decorated to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Comfortable bedding, ample furnishings, and windows that overlook Colaba Reef provide guests with cozy lodging when not out exploring Mumbai.
Each room comes with complimentary WiFi with an upgrade option for premium speeds, a daily newspaper, 24-hour in-room dining, 40” flat-screen TV with satellite access, and complimentary 24-hour coffee and tea at the Palace lobby. Larger suites feature upgraded bathrooms with Italian marble, bathrobes, shower and dressing area, and BRAND bath amenities.
For a taste of India, guests can dine at the rooftop restaurant Souk, the casual Aquarius, and Sea Lounge. Other options include La Patisserie, Wasabi by Morimoto, Shamiana, the Golden Dragon, Masala Kraft, and Harbour Bar. There is no shortage of food at The Taj Mahal Palace.
Outside the hotel, guests will find the culture of Mumbai to be rich and boisterous. Attractions like the Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum, the Neo-Gothic Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus building, and Horniman Circle neighborhood provide travelers with an in-depth look into the coastal city.
With the opulence of the real Taj Mahal in Agra, The Taj Mahal Palace is a high-end property in Mumbai filled with many luxuries.
